If there are multiple kids camps happening, it's even more imperative that a bunch of unknown dogs aren't running around on the same fields, isn't it? This is an issue I have called the Sports Park about multiple times. Why isn't it being addressed? There is a large off-leash dog park nearby in Lake Forest. It is negligent for the management of the Sports Park to leave this unattended, when residents have reported it multiple times. Are you waiting for a child to get mauled before there is a protocol or enforcement? Also, I'm not saying that the person at the front desk is the one who is responsible for this; clearly his hands were tied with multiple responsibilities and this really is a management and security issue. But if that is how he is going to respond to a Lake Forest resident (who should have equal opportunity to safely use this park) who voices a safety concern, please ensure he receives some training. Also, please make sure those leading your group classes don't take photos of class participants and post them online without their permission. This is also really unprofessional.

Since then, it's been rare to catch 5's, but i still go to practice on my game & hope to catch a quick game with whoever. Mostly youthful highschool kids. Environment can be immature and negative. How have I not given our local park the Yelp treatment yet??!?…read more Lexington was the answer to Oak Knoll being outgrown, we are a city of recreation and competitive sports, and if you build it, we will use it to its fullest potential. Lexington is proof! This park, at its core, is two large sized football/soccer fields that can be divided up for smaller league kid games. One field is natural grass, the other a composite. The entire park is well lit because of the night games that are played there, which makes for an overall inviting and safe experience - and I never see the park empty, it's always in use. Surrounding the fields are a running track that circles the distance of the park, a large playground area, seating for the parents, oh, a large set of bleachers for the FNL and soccer games. A workout area in the back with a circuit style set of arm/leg machines. Pickleball and basketball courts, a general area with covered seating for picnics and gatherings, and a large parking lot area that, although large, can be found filled on busy days. Overall this is a good park and a great addition to our cities lineup. We come here often to do sports or use their other various facilities. :)

I feel with such a large project, the city of Cypress could have added a few other features to make it friendly for under 3yr olds - it's literally only 1 small slide for the littles - no steering wheel to drive, or any features to fidget with, or twist, turn, pull or other. I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.

There are a good amount of trees to absorb the noise pollution from the traffic on Knott Avenue. Small picnic area is available for a little lunch rendez vous. There is a play area for children - jungle gym, swings. There is also a nice grassy area for you dog lovers and great for t-ball or soccer practice. Basketball court is available for a quick game of horse, one-on-one or larger team play. And there are nets in the basket, for all your nothing-but-net shots. It's always good to get some fresh air and spend time at the park.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner ( who was so welcoming and kind). We used the party room upstairs which was soooo spacious, nicely designed, clean and well equipped with benches for viewing, a kitchen, sink, counter space for food and drinks and even kids chairs and TV. Also we could play music while the kids played basketball. I give the place a solid 10 out of 10. They also have basketball leagues for kids. We will definitely be back!
