My son has some unique challenges, and handwriting has always been a significant struggle for him. From the very beginning, she recognized his strengths, understood his struggles, and adjusted her approach in ways that made him feel successful instead of frustrated. Her patience, creativity, and deep understanding of neurodivergent learners are remarkable. Plus she makes it fun and he enjoys going. The progress he's made in such a short time has exceeded my expectations. His handwriting has improved significantly, but even more importantly, his confidence has grown. He feels capable, and that is priceless. It's rare to find a teacher who is not only highly skilled but also so intuitive, flexible, and genuinely invested in each child's success. Jennell is incredibly professional and passionate, not only about the mechanics of writing, but about the craft of writing itself. Our son has made noticeable improvements in his letter formation, sizing, and spacing. Beyond handwriting, he's also developed greater writing stamina, stronger reading comprehension, and increased the length and quality of his written output. As an educator myself, I especially appreciate that Jennell's goal is to help students move beyond simply writing functionally. She teaches them to become thoughtful, confident writers. At the end of each session, she shares each student's work with parents and provides personalized feedback on their progress, in addition to the camp's regular progress reports. We are so grateful for this experience and hope to participate in more of Jennell's camps in the future.

I've known Alex for almost four years now and he has been so professional and expeditious with his response whether it's by phone, email, or in-person. My three children have been attending TLC since the school was established. Here are the reasons we LOVE TLC: 1. Small class sizes (just like we had at our private school) 2. Feeling of welcoming, one big family! 3. Inclusive, my children have learned to interact with ALL kids! Typical or not! It truly warms our heart to see my children helping others on the playground and in classroom. 4. Teachers are responsive, and highly educated. 5. Kids are always recognized for their kindness and their success. 6. My children LOVE going to school! 7. Because of TLC's Gardening classes with Farmer Mark, the kids have created our own garden in our yard. They educate my husband and I :) 8. Teachers recognize each child's learning level. 9. All parents are welcomed to be part of the TLCCA which allows you to see what the kids are doing, help with parties, come up with fun events and help make TLC fun and engaging! 10.
