OC Hot springs Spa seemed to be open all the time that I need them to be. They have a good assortment of spa products required for my spa and they're very close to my house. I like dealing with them. read more

Do not buy the maintenance plan. The guy spends about two to three minutes per visit and does not really clean or provide quality service. My elderly mom informed me they talked her into paying $275 a month for maintenance for her small four-person tub. In my opinion, the water quality and tub cleanliness after these super-short visits are less than adequate. The owner was polite when I went into the store to question him, but he claimed this is his top guy and he is just fast. However, I have never seen him use an underwater vacuum or clean debris off the bottom. He just does not want to spend the time to leave it sparkling. Is $275 a month the going rate for 2-3 minute weekly visits to maintain a four-person tub now? Is this elder fraud?. I have attached time-stamped Ring camera pics of him coming and going on the last visit. read more

Horrendous customer service. Extremely rude. I've never been so caught off guard with inappropriate rudeness.

I purchased a spa from this business years ago. I stopped by store to ask about issue with spa. Was told motor failed. Technician was sent to my residence without a confirmation request by myself. Charged for visit. Repeat no confirmation was requested or if date was acceptable. Buyer beware with these types of business practices. read more

After our purchase and referring friends that also purchased it became apparent customer service was not priority at this location or manufacturer. Would suggest doing your due diligence and finding another brand and location of a more quality product especially at the exorbitant price. read more

OC Hot Spring Spa was a good experience throughout. After it was delivered we realized that a drink tray, which was featured on the original website offering it, was updated and no longer being part of the package. I called OC Hot Springs the next day expecting to hear the standard "sorry, that is no longer being offered by the manufacturer." Or, something similar. However, before I could finish my request I was told "even though it is no longer part of the package, we want to make you happy with your new spa experience and just ordered one for you." It was ready for pick up in two days. Thank you OC Hot Spring Spas! read more

OC Hot Springs Spas has been terrific for me since 2003, in all aspects including Sales and Service. Scott, Greg, Rocky and Dan have decades of extensive experience and a strong relationship with the distributor. Even during supply chain issues since Covid, they were proactive and kept me informed. I have always received good advice and fair pricing. I highly recommend this company! read more

Extremely dishonest These guys have done very well under Covid, so maybe it's making them feel like they can do anything and get away with it. I asked about their so-called "financing" program. They told me I could buy my spa through monthly payments over time. Their program was through Wells Fargo. The paperwork looked normal for this sort of package. It was lengthy, and printed in tiny text, so I didn't study it much. The payment amount and the term were clear. About a month after I got my new spa, I got a warning about a sudden 40-point drop in my credit report. Lo and behold, Wells had reported the "payment program" as a simple credit car that then then maxed out at $11k. So the credit bureaus now think I use credit irresponsibly. I asked management to replace the plan with the one they had promised me. They sniped back, "we're not a bank". They then said that I "should have read the agreement". (Unfortunately, I didn't have an attorney with me at the time!) They impishly suggested that I call Wells Fargo and make my own arrangements. There's actually no way to do that once the spa has been delivered, which the folks at OC Spas know very well. This is both unprofessional and dishonest. I cannot recommend that you do business with these individuals. read more

Customer service is atrocious. We have had a broken hot tub for a year. We have been on a waitlist to get it fixed. They keep on moving out the fix date. There is only one service guy. If you are thinking about getting a hot tub, investigate the service options. Steer clear from this place. The service point person talks in circles and makes my head spin. Worst decision ever. read more

The customer service is outstanding. Everyone at the store is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel welcome with you come in and that you are a priority. They also follow through with what they say they are going to do. read more

I love this store. It's family owned. Greg is fantastic. This company works endlessly to get it right for the customer. I recommended this place to all my friends up and down the coast. They will beat every price, and the customer service is exceptional. read more

These guys are great! We had a bad experience with another local Hot Springs (Coastal) business but wish we would have purchased our Spa from OC Hot Springs. We needed a part and they were so helpful and went above and beyond to help us, thanks OC Hot Springs! read more

stay away! worst company ever for repair!! rescheduled times & dates on me many times. then when i (a loyal customer) asked why my repair time was changed again to last of day and why my spa needed to be filled, this absolute coward scott said they cant do business with me anymore instead of having the integrity to explain to me why they had to make another change to my service time and before i could even tell him my spa had a leak and the water had drained out overnight. read more

We remodeled our backyard and decided we wanted a Spa. We knew absolutely nothing about spas and did a ton of research. Went to OC Hot Spring Spas at least 3 times (went to other places too) and felt the most comfortable with the process there. Greg and staff are amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a no pressure sales approach. We also like that they are local to us. Very happy with the process and service we got. read more

My husband has been trying to convince me to buy a spa for 10 years. We even incorporated it into our backyard design. We been to several dealers. He finally took me to OC Hotsprings where I met Greg. Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. From that visit my husband convince me it's time to get one. "While we're young enough to enjoy it" he said. Greg set us up with a good electrician, Victor. Rocky came the next day to do a site inspection. Scott along with Rocky delivered the spa with no problem. Scott explained the chemicals. Overall, we had a great experience buying our first spa. Definitely oc hotsprings spa is a great place to buy your next spa. read more

Would highly recommend! They were referred to us when we started having issues with the heater in the jacuzzi. Original call was pleasant, onsite service call was professional and they didnt try to upsell me on stuff that wasnt necessary. They fixed the issue with no additional cost other that the service call. One follow up call was required 2 weeks later and again very professional, knew exactly how to solve the problem and even suggested i pick up the repair part from a local hardware store rather than having me drive all the way down to their location in SJ. I would never use anyone else... they're great! read more

If you looking for a quality spa and a no pressure, full service buying experience, this is the place. After researching shops and prices locally in San Diego, my uncle recommended I check out OC Hot Springs Spas. Night and day difference in experience. Here in San Diego it was the hard sell, deposit 50% today, NON-Refundable, to get the best deal, only for today. Compared to OC Hot Springs, similar price, only required $500 refundable deposit. I also appreciated working with Scott(owner), who has been the biz years, started off working in the shop before purchasing it years back. They made purchase and installation easy. They researched cranes services here in San Diego. Professional installation by Rocky, who's been working for Scott for years. Plus, Scott continues to answer questions about the spa, providing guidance on chemicals, etc. An all around great experience. read more

Excellent service! We went down to the store a couple of weeks ago to pick out a new spa after having an informative phone conversation with Dan. We picked out the model we liked and were on our way. We just had our new spa delivered and it was a painless experience! We had an old spa, which was too big to get out of our gate. We cut it apart and the guys from OC Hot Springs Spas took it away and even swept up the mess that was left under the pile of rubble. They brought in the new spa, filled it, explained what to do and left with a smile. I would highly recommend buying a spa here! read more

The salesperson Vicki was super great to work with, and Greg, the owner was friendly and happy to share his 20+ years of Spa knowledge. We looked around at other places, but came back to OC Hot Spring as they were very knowledgeable and straight forward. We didn't realize how smart that was until we got to the install process. We hired an electrician who we got from ANOTHER hot tub dealer. When the electrician came out, and we told him we bought from OC Hot Springs instead, we were concerned it might be a problem. His response was an ecstatic, "no way, in fact my quote will be cheaper because I know how to leave things so they can do the final hook-up and I won't have to come back". The delivery day went shockingly fast even with the crane (which was way cheaper and easier than I thought it would be). Everyone involved knew their tasks, and we had the tub filled and were just waiting for it to warm up in about 2 hours. we've had our tub about a week now, and used it every night. read more

Terrific Spa and Company! I've been buying my spa chemicals for years from OC Hot Springs and always found their customer service superior. When it came time to replace our old, worn out spa, it was also time to see what Hot Springs offered. Greg, Scott and Dan all were terrific in explaining the systems and features of the different lines they offer. Next step was the wet test. Yes, you can get a free soak! The whole family came and tried different spas and their jet settings. In the end, Envoy was best for us. The sales process was as friendly as one could hope. Their pricing is competitive, plus they included some nice extras. We also went with the Fresh Salt System. The water is nicer on the skin, and more importantly maintenance is even easier. We selected the shell and outside colors and placed our order, the electrician and a crane were scheduled for an install 2 weeks out. The install crew, lead by Rocky was great. In less than an hour our spa was full of salt water and heating up. The spa has been getting great use and all agree that Hot Springs is superior to the other brand we had. read more

Really positive experiences here. Greg and Rocky are a pleasure to work with. They seem to give you as much or as little hand holding as you want. Pricey purchase but they seem to be competitive. This was our first new hot tub but so far everything seems to be going well. read more

Great customer service. Friendly staff and show up on time. One of the only few places that will repair an aboveground spa.

Jacuzzi is ok but over time start to fade and show heavy wear and tear, overpriced and specially there services. I should have skipped 12k and used the $$ to go to a spa instead. Rocky is great owners run of the mill money grabbers. Not only that but owners attitude stinks to hell. If you need your jacuzzi moved call around, better company's out there and they are 20 to 25% less read more

I purchased my first Grandee Spa from Greg and Scott almost 20 years ago. Since then I purchased another spa for our home in Lake Arrowhead. Greg, Scott, Dan and Rocky are a great team that have supported my needs since my original purchase. Service like this is hard to find these days. They sell a great product and their support makes it an even better product. read more

My family and I bought our Hot Spring Springs Spa in August of 2003. Prior to the purchase, we visited Hot Spring Spas of OC about 6 times. We told brothers Scott and Greg that we were researching various spa companies to make sure we were getting the right one for us. Every time we came in, we were greeted warmly by them and there staff. The one thing that we always commented on when we left was how comfortable we felt by the staff. We never felt like they were pressuring us. (Not something we could say about other spa companies we visited.) When we finally went in to purchase our "Grande" model, Greg even made it a point to tell us that since we were only a family of 3, we might want to consider a smaller model and save some money. WOW! I felt like they were really watching out for our best interest. No hard sell at all! We told them that the bigger model was what we wanted so our daughter could invite many friends over to enjoy. Rocky and his crew installed our spa without a hitch. He gave us maintenance instructions in an easy to follow manner. For the last 11 years we've had countless hours of fun and relaxation in our spa. It was such a great investment and I am truly happy that I bought our spa from them. The spa requires very little maintenance. Just follow there maintenance suggestions and you'll have a spa that will last for years to come! read more

We shopped three vendors for our new hot tub. We have had three before, two in ground (at different homes) and one above ground. But we needed to be educated and Greg at Hot Spring Spas was patient and did a good job asking the right questions. We settled on the Vanguard which seats six adults. The crew that installed it was very professional and efficient. Rocky was early, guided things along with the crane operator and Nate was very patient in explaining the chemicals, the controls and answering all of our questions. I'm not sure if I necessarily negotiated the best achievable price, but I think the price was fair, the quality of the spa is very high and we have already started to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend. read more

Awesome company! Greg and his staff are amazing. From the sales process (which was not pushy at all - much more about finding the right hot tub for our family) to the installation and set up. Love my jacuzzi, if you think the small one is big enough it's NOT. BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER. The service we received was above and beyond. I usually forget to make a point of leaving a GREAT Yelp review but I have to say that buying our hot tub from these guys was awesome! The only person pushing to buy one, was myself, never the owner, my husband wasn't sure but we pick our colors and bought a great hot tub. From paper work to delivery I had a great experience, everything was explained during the set up process and even going back to the store to ask a question was a very nice experience, I never felt as though, they made the sale and then they were done with us. Bravo to the entire operation! read more

OC Hot spring spa's is a one of a kind operation. I was referred by a friend for repairs on my spa. From the first phone call to the repair work done, this is one first class HONEST business. I've used other repair services for my Hot Springs spa before, and this experience was the best ever. Scott was very helpful and offered me great pricing on the repairs (could have been over $1500) as well as Rocky the repair specialist. Rocky is awesome! He was in constant contact with me and fixed the problem and I am a happy camper! My spa is 15 years old and the pump had failed. With Rocky's help and knowledge, my bill was lower than I expected and repairs were done perfectly. I highly recommend their sales and service and will be a customer for life! read more

Very positive transaction. We brought a new Grande from Greg and were very pleasantly surprised with the experience. Buying a Spa can be a little bit like buying a used car, coming from the world of sales and being an Engineer by profession the used car approach doesn't work for me. Greg asked the right questions, was patient and factual in his answers. I feel very confident that we made the right choice and got a good price. The install and follow up was excellent. I highly recommend OC Hot Spa Springs. read more

We just moved into a house that included a spa purchased from oc spas 5yrs ago. We stopped by today to get the scoop on how to take care of spa & they had 7-8 floor models, including ours so were able to show us how to clean/change filters, where to add chemicals, etc. we walked out 30min later understanding all we need to know! We got all the supplies & an easy checklist to follow for a spa newbie! read more

We just took delivery of our 2nd Hot Springs Spa! The first one we purchased at OC Hot Springs Spas 23 years ago and it just pooped out. We went back to OC Hot Springs and spoke to Greg ( who sold us our first one) and we were introduced to new technology and details. There was no decision where to buy except at OC Hot Springs. Same again no pressure, no B.S. just great service at a fair price. P.S. Rocky has maintained our spa for 23 years and I think his expertise kept it running to the end. Thanks Again!
