I'd like to support small businesses, but they need to make themselves available. That said, if you need a framing job quickly, they are the place to go. With the big art stores outsourcing everything including custom mats and Framer's Workshop gone from the east shore, this is the only place in Harrisburg where you can go and expect to get something custom made within a few days. When I arrived I told them I was learning and just looking. That did not slow them down at all. When it did come time for me to purchase a camera I could not think of anywhere else I would rather go than this store. Gary and the team were super helpful and willing to invest in a dad shopping for his son even if I bought somewhere else. Prices were great, selection had everything I needed all in one location. They even setup a free 1-1 hour long lesson with my son to learn about the camera. Highly recommended and will not hesitate to purchase here again.

I don't usually give reviews on yelp, but my fiancé and I are extremely disappointed. He brought in his film camera to see if it could get fixed, they first told him it could for a certain price, then switched up and said the part didn't exist but they could help him buy a new camera. Then they tried to claim it "wasn't brought in with a strap attached" when it was. Additionally, he dropped off multiple rolls of film only to have rolls missing when he got the scans back. After asking and being told "our Film tech would never miss a roll of film", he had to insist that he was missing a roll, to then later receive an email being told the roll was "found." We also were not aware that there were issues with the Chemical Composition used for the development of 35mm film in color. It had affected his and friend's film last summer and was incredibly disappointing for us to get those back with no communication or refund of any sort. We'd love to get back to going through this business but they have "lost" too much of our stuff which is irresponsible and cost us in the long run.

I took a wonderful paint class with a top notch artist to teach us. Her directions were clear, she didn't move too fast, and she was always willing to help. I so enjoyed myself. So much that I'm thinking of taking up classes there. They offer watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint classes. I'm really intrigued by the clay class held in their clay studio on Reservoir Park. for starters the building is out of square. two of the poles are scabbed at the top just to reach…read morethe top of the trusses with 2x4's. every screw that was installed to secure the metal was tightened to the point of denting the metal and some even missed the wood. for the ones that missed they just globed silicone on them and called it good. When they put the banner board on instead of removing the drillings they just laid it on top of the dirt. which put the front doors two feet of the driveway. There answer to me was just bring in Shail. They could do this for an extra fee of course. But the real kick in the nuts was when they put the post in the ground, they never put anything under them for footing. Mister fisher insisted they put concrete in the holes, but none was onsite to do so. I was here to receive the materials at that time and the apparent skid of concrete that was ordered never existed. but regardless the footings where to be 36" round by 8"thick disc of concrete not just a bag of ready mix. as for the warranty it holds no water. I was told mister fisher by Levi himself that he been building buildings for thirty years and he was not interested in reinventing the wheel to do so. long story short now I'm stuck paying for a monstrosity with no satisfaction over the last for years. That i wish i would have gotten someone honest. If you have fishers build your building better watch for the short cuts there everywhere and the warranty is as good as the toilet paper in the locale gas station.
