My child really loves the classes at OC. We feel at home and part of the OC family. The staff is great. Truly first class.

Hot warehouse style building, old equipment looks worn out, parents have to sit outside in the sun. Staff seem alright.

My two young kids both love this place! It is like our second home. Our oldest loves his coach Hope. She makes it fun.

Ask the Community - OC All-Stars

What are your open gym hours? I came on Saturday at 7 like it says on your website for open gym and you guys are closed!

Hello! I am so sorry you had that experience. Our Foothill Ranch location is open at that time but our Anaheim location is not. On our website you have to click Anaheim tumbling schedule to get our hours. I would love to give you a free open gym for… Read more

American Flips Kids Gymnastics - Competitive team

We're extremely satisfied with American Flips. I have two daughters on the competition team, and…read moreCoach E's passion and attention to detail are truly incredible. He focuses on each child individually, helping them fix even the smallest technique issues with so much care. As parents, we can clearly see how much the girls have grown--both while preparing for competitions and during the meets themselves. We're so grateful for this gym, and Coach E's family is so sweet as well. Thank you so much, American Flips! We'll always support you! ‍

American Flips Kids Gymnastics denied my 9-year-old daughter the chance to participate in their…read moreclasses solely because she is on the autism spectrum. My daughter loves gymnastics more than anything, so I signed her up for their $20 trial session. At check-in, the front desk staff informed me that "Coach E" (she refused to provide his full name) would not allow my child to join the class due to her diagnosis. I explained that my daughter is fully capable physically, communicates in English, and does not require special accommodation. She is simply energetic and occasionally echoes what is said to her -- all I asked for was a bit of patience when giving instructions. Instead of compassion or understanding, I was met with a cold refusal and an attitude that left me feeling deeply discriminated against. The staff told me their instructors were "not trained to work with special needs kids," which I can understand to a point. What hurt was the dismissive, rude way it was handled. In 2025, I would hope that a children's gym would show at least some commitment to inclusion or basic respect. Instead, I walked out in tears. About ten minutes later, the front desk called saying Coach E wanted to speak with me. He repeated that his coaches weren't qualified to work with kids with special needs, but by then the damage was already done. Allowing my daughter to join after hearing me cry didn't feel like kindness--it felt like guilt. I don't want my daughter to be treated like a burden, singled out, or labeled as "the special-needs kid who needs extra attention." To American Flips Kids, and specifically to Coach E: it's time to learn what inclusion really means. Every child deserves the chance to explore what brings them joy. I wasn't asking for special treatment or anything beyond patience and basic human decency. I simply wanted my daughter to experience the joy of being in a gymnastics gym, and your rejection broke my heart.

We just changed studios and I really like this one. My daughter came from a dance studio nearby…read morethat she had been going to since she was a toddler. However, we never got a tour, we never got introduced to anyone, or by anyone. And that always stood out to me. We moved and I, therefore, moved my daughter to a studio near our new house, but she wanted nothing to do with it. As I knew I couldn't go back to her old studio, I found this one. It's clean, it's good parking, it appears to be in a safe location. There is always someone at the front. The owners literally introduce themselves and shake your hand!!!!! The teachers also introduce themselves and give you feedback after a trial class. I think my daughter has found her new studio. I'm willing to make the drive for her to be happy. The reason why we "can't" go back to her old studio is that we went from competitive to recreational and her original studio kind of treats rec as an after thought. Once recitals kick in, it's like 20+ students. Don't get me wrong, by daughter loved the studio. I, personally, wasn't really about it. When we moved to the 2nd studio, the one near our new house, my daughter wanted nothing to do with it. With 20+ kids in a class, it was a no for me as well. And rec kids are also seen as an after thought because there aren't that many options for them with certain teachers, days, or times. Anyway, finding this studio has been great. I hope my daughter really comes to like it.

This place is absolutely unbelievable. The ownership alone makes this place the best dance studio…read moreI've ever been to for my girls, and that's including the dance-mom elitist culture that seems to be so common at other studios in this area. The Good Stuff: 1) The entrance to this place is magnificent. It's welcoming. Formal. Not "obnoxious trophy" layered, but feels like a professional studio. 2) The staff, and especially the ownership, is WOW! My daughter had some post-COVID anxiety about being away from us for so long, but the owner of the studio spent so much time with her, trying to warm her, welcome her, invite her, make her feel safe. These employees care about the kids and care about dancing, and that's what makes this place so much better than the other studios we've been to. 3) The "levels" of teams are easy to follow and give kids so many opportunities to be as involved or "recreational" as they want. 4) We haven't been here long, so I haven't met a ton of parents, but the culture of these parents is so much less nasty and cutthroat than the other places we've been. 5) Their finance team worked with us when my daughter wanted to make some changes mid-month. No problems at all. Stellar customer service. Go here. It's amazing. As long as my kids continue to express interest in dancing, they'll stay at this studio.
