I have to say something. These guys at Obsession Motorcycles almost got me killed with the BS subpar trash of a job they did on my beautiful 1979 Shovel Head ALL ORIGINAL Harley Davidson Lowrider. It once belonged to my Vietnam Vet Marine Corps father - I inherited my father's bike when he died from cancer- he purchased it new after he got out of Vietnam. A true one owner classic motorcycle that is as close to a one-of-one classic original as a bike can get. There was truly nothing wrong with the bike- but it sat in my father's garage for three years because he couldn't ride it. He was suffering from cancer, which eventually took his life in June of 2024. I contacted Obsession Motorcycles about possibly working on it and bringing my bike back to life. The owner, John, assured me that he would take on the challenge and that he would personally work on my bike and that it was in great hands. Well, $5000 later (original quote was $900!) as I was riding it home, the front brakes (which I paid to have repaired on his advice) locked up on me different three time while at speed on the highway! I have dashcam video footage because my wife was driving behind me in her car filming my maiden voyage on my father's beast! Three different vehicles nearly hit me, including a huge fully loaded semi truck! This is on video from the Fred Meyers surveillance camera footage. I struggled with the bike because I didn't know what was occurring- I didn't realize the front brakes were seizing and locking up on me! I finally made it to the Burger King parking and called my insurance company and had my roadside assistance help come to tow my bike back home. On top of the brakes locking up, it was leaking fluids and gas all over the entire engine, which it was not doing before! I contacted John the next day explaining what had transpired, and asked if he intended to fix this issue. He gave me every manner of excuse, at some point actually blaming me by implying that I hadn't spend enough money. Bear in mind, the bike was 100% mechanically sound! It was always garage kept since being purchased new and my father maintained it meticulously for 45+ years! It only needed some TLC and a tune up from having sat for so long. Everything, every repair, every part, every recommendation John gave to me I agreed to have done and I gave the go ahead to repair. I'm not a mechanic so I completely trusted John's advice. The repair bill went from $900 to nearly $5000! I paid every cent, trying to do my father's bike justice. But my wallet was tapped out. When I told John that I couldn't afford anything else, miraculously the bike repairs were suddenly complete and he had me pick up the bike the same day, saying his tech (who repaired the bike, NOT JOHN AS HE HAD PROMISED ME) performed an exhaustive test run and that the bike was in great condition. However this was not the case, as I found out three miles from the shop. After the brakes locking up and the fluids spraying everywhere, and after pleading with John, I asked him if he was going to make my bike right. He promised that he would. That was almost three months ago. He said literally on five different occasions he was going to pick up the bike and make everything right, hinting that more cash was likely going to be needed from me. He never came to pick up my bike. John never contacted me again. As of today, my bike sits in my garage. I can't ride it, even after spending $5000 on junk repairs, most of which were likely not even needed nor necessary. But John smelled money and he squeezed me out of it! This man John and Obsession Motorcycles ruined a stunning beautiful bike and now he won't fix it. I truly believe that he is trying to steal my bike because he kept mentioning that more money was likely going to be spent to fix what I have already paid to be fixed. How so, you ask? I already told him I wasn't paying another cent. Yet he mentioned several times that he may have to charge me more money , thus running up a shop bill he knows I will refuse to pay! Does the term "mechanics lien" come to mind?!?!! I believe he wants my bike and intends to run thousands more in repairs, knowing full well I won't pay it, then put a mechanics lien on my bike, began charging storage fees and then keep my bike! The owner John himself even told me that my bike was truly a true original bike because most bikes like mine just don't exist anymore completely intact! He brushed me off and now, $5000 later, my bike is in worse condition now than it was before! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They are not trustworthy. They will lie to you just to get your money. There are other reviews on Google saying the exact same thing I am telling you. Obsession Motorcycles is pure trash!!!!! I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and I am currently speaking with an attorney, who says I have a strong case for negligence and fraud. Do not trust this shop with your bike. I went with Obsession Motorcycles to install 16" meathook ape's on my 2020 Road King. They also did a 3 fluid change. These guys are the nicest guys in the world! Trever helped me with every step from choosing my bars, to choosing the fluids that I felt were right for my bike. The work Trever did was incredible! I could not be happier. The bike was ready when they said it would be and the work was done professionally and correct. My only complaint would be that they are a little disorganized when it comes to scheduling and ordering. I think they should hire an office person to take care of that end of the business rather than the head mechanic. I would have given them 5 stars if this were the case. I would recommend Obsession to anyone wanting work done on their bike, and I plan on doing business with them in the future. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! read more

Nice people but they could not fix my oil leak on my performance m8 build in and out there shop for a year if I was to get work done on my bike there it would just be an oil change I took my bike to Harley and they fix my leak 6 months already still no leak I prefer taking your Harley to a dealer destination Harley is the place to go read more

[  ] John and Trevor are nice guys, unfortunately being nice guys doesn't equal quality.  I took my Road King in for Tires, New exhaust,   swing arm repair ,front motor mount and a Dyno tune. Both 02 sensor had there outter wires cut. John offered to replace them. Almost 4 weeks later some Taiwan off brand made 02 sensors were giving to me. Not the Thundermax that were cut. They did not fit. A week later I did get my Thunder max 02 sensors. Removing the sensors myself was a pain as there was NO anti sieze on the threads and worse then that New exhaust pipes and they had cross threaded the front bung. As best as I can tell the swing arm was done correctly,  but the drive belt is extremely tight.   The tune was not, AFR range from 10 to 18 WTF.  New motor mount was causing a very bad vibration, figured that out, Obsession mechanics used a 3/8 center bolt instead of the 1/2 bolt the Alloy Art mount came with. Never have I had my bike returned to me in the condition it was. The entire swingarm was covered in grease as well and grease all over my new exhaust and front rotor. After looking at my recipe there was no labor hours shown just dollar amount for the services,  I did notice my swing arm labor was charged $250 then later the was another swing arm labor charge for $500. I DO NOT recommend taking your motorcycle to Obsession motorcycles. read more
