The nice man said it needed some type of fuse and he didn't have one on his truck (?) and that the furnace needed a new burner and a complete examination after just 10 yrs service before putting it back in service at a cost of $$$. He suggested replacing the whole furnace ($$$$$). I must admit he was probably right, replacing only if the heat exchanger was badly rusted. They charged me for 3 hr labor ($80/hr) , including travel time. He was here about 30 minutes.
