Hoover's was the first name she recommended and was she ever right! Ray came out, thoughtfully listened to our ideas and concerns, then toured the yard. We initially contacted Hoover's to remove four trees, but Ray did the full tour and recommended a few other services. Thanks to his thorough estimate - and very reasonable prices - our property is doing much better. The team showed up as scheduled and got right to work. They were so fast, the first tree was down before Smokin'Hubster got a chance to see it happen! The crew was very respectful of our yard (many tree seedlings to dodge), left a very tidy pile of woodchips for our future yard projects and finished all the work before lunch time. We really enjoyed getting to know Ray and his team, will continue to give him the business and our very strong recommendation.

They came in with top of the line equipment which really made them efficient in their work, and they left our property clean. Communication was also great as we agreed on what we needed as well as Ray's recommendations. We will not hesitate to call them back when needed.

The friendly person that answered the office phone was happy to get in touch with Mike for us if we didn't have his direct number (we did). Mike was busy but returned the call promptly and assured us that he'd stop by soon. Within two hours he and his crew were here to assess the situation with our well. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, wasting no time to check the pump and well. It didn't take long at all. We are very grateful for Mike's experience with the property and are super thriled that he could see us so quickly. What started as a drying well has turned out to be a fortuitous relationship with J-Goods and their…read morevery knowledgeable staff. At the urging of our well expert, we started watching for leaks and drips that might be adversely affecting our well's supply. Sure enough, the ancient front spigot was losing a fair bit of water daily (in the dry conditions, it was hard to notice until we got a pail under the spigot). One call is all that it took for Dan to make his way over to look into the problem. I had hoped it was just a matter of a gasket, but the age of the spigot put the easy fix out of reach. Dan assessed all of the spigots and recommended shut-off vales for all of them, which brought me great relief. Now we are in control of the water situation and will (hopefully!) eliminate future surprises. Based on our discussion, I felt very well-informed to make the decision and I'm super pleased with his work. While he was in the basement with us, he mentioned the fact that we're still using fuel oil. While not ideal, we simply hadn't started moving that project ahead. Yet. Insert Dan, who talked to Andy, and just two days later Andy was here to similarly educate us on a propane conversion. Talk about full service! Just one phone call and I'm crossing things off my list of house projects; badda-bing! Suddenly the weight is off my shoulders, our list of house ToDos seems so much more manageable and I feel like we are in good hands. The plumber was domineering and outright rude, and his gestures were threatening. He did not…read morerespect the boundaries I was attempting to establish when I tried to de-escalate his aggression toward me. His company, whom I did not talk to about his inappropriate behaviors, added a message to my record stating not to do business with me again. I discovered this message when I called to have the plumber's work evaluated due to possible issues I was having regarding his work. The Office Manager stated although she and the others in the office did not work for Trudell when this occurred, I would have to discuss this further with the owners since they already had a conversation with me and made the determination not to do business with me. I responded that I had not talked with the owners and that the phone number she stated was in error. It became apparent the plumber had misrepresented me to the owners, and the owners did not care to investigate what had occurred. I waited a few days to see if the owners would contact me, but since they did not, I decided to review this company with a red flag warning with a comment "Very Poor Customer Service."

Owner and crew were straight to the point and professional. They let me know when they would be back for multi-day work and cleaned up after themselves. They also worked with our plumbing company when a delay occurred to get a water line run. Price for work was fair and as quoted. We also used them for snow removal, which required a blower due to the limited space for snow. Work was done well and in a timely manner. I plan to use them again and am happy to recommend them. A convenient service plan was offered.

Fuller's did our yard and it was a simple job (freshly graded yard that just needed grass and some…read morevery minor landscaping), but unfortunately the results are frankly terrible. I have been left wishing I had done the work myself because not only would I have spent far less, but there's no way even a casual weekend warrior like myself would produce such shoddy results with seeding. Our yard is patchy, weedy, and in some places just plain dry dirt. I contacted the owner and he admitted they "dropped the ball" and initially said they'd come to fertilize and drop some more seed but that never happened and he hasn't made any plans of how to fix this since then- and he has had nearly a year to at least let us know his plan. I last e-mailed him almost 6 months ago with no reply. I prefer e-mail to calls because if he tells me a plan for fixing the yard I want it in writing. So as of the writing of this review I spent a LOT of money with these guys just to have a yard that looks flat out embarrassing. And this is not me being a perfectionist or something like that: random neighbors have even asked me, "what is wrong with your yard?" Or have told me, "this looked nicer before you had work done." At this point I am considering fixing it myself, but then I'm out the time and money that I was trying to save myself by paying Fuller's in the first place. Unless they make this right all I can say is this: go somewhere else or do the work yourself. Very disappointed. EDIT #1: I have talked with the owner on the phone and he is putting together a plan to make this right that will involve additional seeding among other things to try and get things going. I also wanted to add that some of the other landscaping work they did in addition to the grass/lawn was actually quite good. They did some edging and rock work around the house that we were happy with. However, until the yard is less patchy, weedy, and barren I stand by my initial one-star review. I think the picture shows why I feel that way. With some consideration I have decided to bump it up to a two-star review though since the owner has said he'll work with me on this. I want to make sure to reflect my happiness with their other work and my hope for resolving this issue in the near future. I will edit the review further once I know what his plan actually is and see the work done to fix this. EDIT #2: The owner and a crew came to our house shortly after this review was posted and did some work on our yard to get things growing in better. I am happy that they were able to do this ASAP, so I'm raising the review another star. I will come back in a month or so to edit the review again once I see how my yard ends up looking. If everything is good I plan on removing the picture, replacing it with a new one, and doing a new review that reflects the whole situation better now that it's being addressed.
