I can't say enough good things about Ryan & his team. I was in an Emergency situation with a…read morecollapsed old metal septic tank. I called in the afternoon, and the tank was pumped that same day. Ryan came out later that same evening to "cover" the tank & make the area safe. Most of all, I felt valued. the team was in constant contact; all my questions were answered. Ryan is knowledgeable and considerate. Getting permits, letting me know where we were in the process. I believe that he leads his team by example. Great People! Stephanie went out of her way for me, always ending the conversation by saying, "Let me know if you have any other questions." All the contracting team members were willing to answer my questions, silly questions, maybe, like "Did I even have a drain field?" or "Do I cover it? " I especially remember Ed, as it seemed he put in the most hours! All the men were great and respectful.

Being (still) new to the area, we asked around for septic service recommendations. Care-Sodergren…read morewas a strong favorite, we reached out via the website and easily set up an appointment. Fortunately this was a regular maintenance call, no stress whatsoever. The fellow that came by was friendly and experienced. He told us more about our system than we knew; much appreciated! His visit took no time and he said the bill would be sent to us. Sure enough, I had an email before the day was over. We were also very impressed by the price, especially for something that we won't even attempt to DIY. Highly recommended by our neighbors and we'll certainly add our voices to the chorus.

This is THE go-to lawn equipment place for the central U.P. IMO…read more OK Rental in ishpeming is the only place I go to for my chain saw and weed trimmer needs. Everyone I've dealt with there understands my equipment because they've worked on it, and most still do. They are friendly, easy to do busy with, and have never recommended anything that wasn't needed. These guys are THE BEST!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They took advantage of my elderly mother when she took…read moreher lawn mower in for repair. They kept it for a couple of weeks before telling her they could not fix it, and then still charged an "estimate" even though they did not provide her an estimate for anything because they said it couldn't be fixed. I wouldn't be upset they couldn't fix it, but how can they charge for a service they did not provide? A family friend got the lawn mower running by changing the oil....so I'm not sure what they even did to inspect the lawn mower, but, it seems as though they didn't even cover the basics before deciding it "couldn't be fixed". I would not recommend to anyone and we will not be back.

Never will do business with Northern Awning again. Pete Hendrickson was rude and denied installing…read morethe rubber roof that is now leaking, even though we have the receipt from them. He stated that no one working for him even installs rubber roofing, which explains why the roof is now leaking. A roofing contractor who does install rubber roofing came over and went up on the roof. He took photos and stated that the roofing was not properly installed. Pete Hendrickson refused to repair the roof. Apparently, as our contractor told us, Northern Awning and Pete Hendrickson have a bad reputation around town because of this type of behavior and poor quality workmanship. Stay away from them!

My daughter has been attending day-care at Mister McGregor's since she was 3 months old. I have had…read morea wonderful experience. All of the staff are very friendly and greet us by name every time we arrive. Also, the day-care is always very clean and professional. I have been so impressed with how much they teach my daughter and how they do art projects pretty much daily. They also take the kids outside as much as the weather permits. I see that the other review for the day-care mentioned dissatisfaction with the new director, Korry. I have had terrific experiences with Korry and she does a great job of running this facility. She knows me and my child by name and I can tell that her number one priority is the kids.

Just recently the owner Korry Richer has fired Patty Williams and Jamie Curtis for venturing out on their own and opening a new daycare called The Kids Club. Many changes have been made that are not parent friendly. The billing provided is terrible and the ignorance of the owner Korry is absurd. Again, I have been a loyal customer for many years, and when the owner has no idea who you are or who your children are ( I have 3) it's pretty pathetic. In the same day I was given an introduction letter to the new daycare director and then 3 hours later a termination letter stating I have only 2 weeks to find new care for my children. This is all in result of me "liking" a Facebook page for supporting Patty and Jamie and being their friend. Patty and Jamie were the face of the Crayon Club and trained great staff who really cared for the kids!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE ANYMORE!
