This is THE go-to lawn equipment place for the central U.P. IMO. OK Rental in ishpeming is the only place I go to for my chain saw and weed trimmer needs. Everyone I've dealt with there understands my equipment because they've worked on it, and most still do. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They took advantage of my elderly mother when she took her lawn mower in for repair. They kept it for a couple of weeks before telling her they could not fix it, and then still charged an "estimate" even though they did not provide her an estimate for anything because they said it couldn't be fixed. I wouldn't be upset they couldn't fix it, but how can they charge for a service they did not provide? A family friend got the lawn mower running by changing the oil....so I'm not sure what they even did to inspect the lawn mower, but, it seems as though they didn't even cover the basics before deciding it "couldn't be fixed". I would not recommend to anyone and we will not be back. read more
