Days later it occurred to me that I need new business cards, too; doh! We visited the shop for the initial order and handled all the details - plus the business cards - via email. When Dave let me know it was ready, I cruised over and picked up everything. The order was less expensive than I figured, the quality was far and away better than I had hoped and we are 100%x100 pleased with the results. The support and help we received was exemplary, while the printing work speaks volumes about the quality of the work. Globe Printing, you have two more customers for life; thank you!!

He stated that no one working for him even installs rubber roofing, which explains why the roof is now leaking. A roofing contractor who does install rubber roofing came over and went up on the roof. He took photos and stated that the roofing was not properly installed. Pete Hendrickson refused to repair the roof. Apparently, as our contractor told us, Northern Awning and Pete Hendrickson have a bad reputation around town because of this type of behavior and poor quality workmanship. Stay away from them!

The term "Yooper" is unique and something I really never thought I'd be using frequently. After…read morelearning about the UP's (i.e. Michigan's Upper Peninsula) history, my interest grew and I began looking for some UP merch prior to an actual visit in person. Online, I came across Yooper Shirts. Since my ordering experience was so good, I thought I'd add this review! I was impressed when I called to inquire about sizes; the customer service was really friendly via the phone and they double checked some sizes and explained the fit to me. I placed an order and my only real caveat might have been the prices at first since they were a bit above average. My order arrived very quickly to California in just a few days. The sweatshirt I received was top-notch quality and I really liked the design--these elements, high quality material and designs, are definitely the strong suits of Yooper Shirts (pardon the pun). And, I could see why they might charge a bit more too. In person, once I got to their store on my visit, I was able to visit and see many more cool items besides the sweatshirts I had purchased. I read a bit about Yooper Shirts' history and found out it's a real local gem: They apparently began in Ishpeming, (say that 3 times quickly), and, over the years, grew into printing their own merchandise for clothing and opening a retail location in downtown Marquette. I definitely support small businesses like this and the small town atmosphere they organically grow in.

All of the staff are very friendly and greet us by name every time we arrive. Also, the day-care is always very clean and professional. I have been so impressed with how much they teach my daughter and how they do art projects pretty much daily. They also take the kids outside as much as the weather permits. I see that the other review for the day-care mentioned dissatisfaction with the new director, Korry. I have had terrific experiences with Korry and she does a great job of running this facility. She knows me and my child by name and I can tell that her number one priority is the kids.

Just recently the owner Korry Richer has fired Patty Williams and Jamie Curtis for venturing out on their own and opening a new daycare called The Kids Club. Many changes have been made that are not parent friendly. The billing provided is terrible and the ignorance of the owner Korry is absurd. Again, I have been a loyal customer for many years, and when the owner has no idea who you are or who your children are ( I have 3) it's pretty pathetic. In the same day I was given an introduction letter to the new daycare director and then 3 hours later a termination letter stating I have only 2 weeks to find new care for my children. This is all in result of me "liking" a Facebook page for supporting Patty and Jamie and being their friend. Patty and Jamie were the face of the Crayon Club and trained great staff who really cared for the kids!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE ANYMORE! If you are searching for quality care and excellent staff reach out to the Kids Club 906-273-1773 or kidsclubdcmqt@ gmail. com.
