The local stores/markets doesn't do in-store redemption. Most of the people here are bringing recyclables by the car/truck load. Drive up through the gate and drop off. I only had a few, so I walked in after a truck. They do CRV value and happily did by count, so I got 50 cents back. They give you a ticket and then you go to the red shack to redeem for cash. Workers seems nice and friendly. They do recycle other stuff as well, scrap metal, paper, assorted glass, etc...

They have a change machine and a soap machine, Mexican restaurant across the street and a grocery store next door.

There was a homeless man that asked me for change but he did not harass me and simply moved on. I went in around 8:30am and it was not busy. It got more busy around 9:30-10am. Here is a break down of cost. 6.50 largest washer 3.75 small washer 5.00 for medium washer 25 cents for 5 min for dryer. They do add on two extra minutes for you to make your decision with the dryer. I used two small washers and one big one. I feel like everything was cleaned and the washers didn't smell dirty. The dryers had some that were stinky or had stuff stuck in them. Check before you put your stuff in them. Over all it was quite and an easy process. A few stores near by to go and browse. The place is full of security cameras so felt safe and during certain times there is a person on site. FYI no bathrooms!

After a sleepless night (my husband is an author and all his work was on that computer) we tried calling the next morning and the phones were down so my next move was to call Yreka PD. Kelly, who took my call and confirmed the phone lines were down at the restaurant, sent an officer down there (sorry I forgot his name) who took possession of the laptop and immediately called us back. I was then connected with Janene in lost & found/claims and we arranged to have the laptop shipped to us through Fed Ex but the pick up window had passed. Out of desperation I called this company and Mark assured me that if the laptop could be dropped off before 4:30 Fed Ex would pick it up which they did and it arrived safely the next day. We can't thank the quick thinking and caring staff of BBD, Yreka PD and Yreka Mailbox & Computer enough! Oh, and the food at BBD is really good too! It's so good, you'll end up forgetting what you brought in with you!

He helped us pick out a suitable location and explained about how far down we would likely need to drill to hit water. His work was excellent, done promptly and fairly priced. I am thankful we selected him, as another local drilling company quoted me a time 3 months out. We have a great new well thanks to an experienced and great driller. He came out and told me I needed a new water jet and a bladder. Cost me $900. Called him the next day and told him it was not working still. He told me he will come out and adjust the water jet pump. that day he told me it was not the water jet pump it was the well. They drilled a new well for $1,000. I waited a couple days call him. He told me he was coming He never showed up for almost 2 months. Then he told me that he was leaving for Florida for the winter. Did not have time to finish the job. I called the company that recommended him and argue with them that he was a sub of theirs. They should stand by their subs. Finally 3 months later the company that recommended him. Came out and finish the job. That was an October 24th 2019. Had to pay more money for the company to Fox his mistake. Now I am stuck with a water jet pump and a bladder that I did not need. It must be nice to leave customers stranded with no water. And leave for the winter to Florida. Again leave for vacation to Florida and leave customer stranded with no water. No consideration. I would not recommend him to my worst enemies. He should not be in business. Stay away Beware beware beware

I was told at that time that it would be two weeks, because there is no on site dry cleaning plant and the seamstress only works one day each week. That part isn't great, but the alternative is to go to Redding or across the state line into Ashland, Oregon. When I went back the alterations had not been done because at their hourly rate they thought it would be cost-prohibitive. (It absolutely would have.) Regardless, the dry cleaning was top notch, the final bill was the $8.50 I'd been quoted, and the customer service was warm and professional. I was referred to a tailor's shop on Miner, downtown, where I got the work done for $4. All in all I'm very grateful for the dry cleaning services without driving over an hour and I'm glad they didn't presume and do the work. Also, I'm thankful for the referral to a quality tailor shop.
