I walked out of there with a 5 gallon jug of alkaline water and a 5 gallon jug of fresh spring water. All GLASS! I honestly found that incredible. This company is a relatively new family owned business, that I love to support! Their prices are unbeatable and I love that you're able to try the different types of water they offer. The weirdest thing happened. I got 2 mystery deliveries, one in March and one in May. Three 24-pk…read morewater cases were delivered to my stoop each time. No invoice or anything and I hadn't ordered any water. I asked all of my neighbors if the water was theirs. Everyone said no. I left the waters where they were and a few days later they were gone. Starting last week, I've gotten several calls from ReadyRefresh. I do not have an account with them. They knew my full name and insisted I owe them $92 and some change. The first time I answered a call, I tried to get some details, but the person hung up on me. The next time they called, I dug a little deeper. When I asked if they had an account for me and if I'd been paying up to this point, they said yes and I had paid for a previous delivery in March, but not May. When I asked them to send me an invoice and they told me what email address they would send it to, it was a mash-up of two different email addresses, one of which I don't even have access to anymore. They called from (800) 274-5282 . I looked it up and it seems to be a California location. I live on the east coast. This is some kind of scam, but I can't figure out how they're making their money. It's got to cost a ton to drive around and leave water then pick it up, then try to get people to pay for it. Anybody else know about this and how it works? I'm honestly fascinated.

I was never credited for SEVENTY empty bottles and when I pointed that out, they would only credit my account for $54, despite that 6 times 70 empty bottles is actually $420. In addition, my bills show random tacked-on fees. For example, I paid my November bill on November 27 for $203 (mind you, this is for renting a cooler and 6 bottles of water -- two deliveries of 3 bottles per month) and I had a random fee tacked on for another $123 dollars retroactively listed as November 18, but there's no line item for it. So my December bill -- again, for six bottles of water, all bottles returned -- is $288. That's $48 dollars a bottle of frickin water. I call customer service and they claim that the branch manager is going to call me, but never does. It's like signing up with a company that's actually the mob.
