The weirdest thing happened. I got 2 mystery deliveries, one in March and one in May. Three 24-pk water cases were delivered to my stoop each time. No invoice or anything and I hadn't ordered any water. I asked all of my neighbors if the water was theirs. Everyone said no. I left the waters where they were and a few days later they were gone. Starting last week, I've gotten several calls from ReadyRefresh. I do not have an account with them. They knew my full name and insisted I owe them $92 and some change. The first time I answered a call, I tried to get some details, but the person hung up on me. The next time they called, I dug a little deeper. When I asked if they had an account for me and if I'd been paying up to this point, they said yes and I had paid for a previous delivery in March, but not May. When I asked them to send me an invoice and they told me what email address they would send it to, it was a mash-up of two different email addresses, one of which I don't even have access to anymore. They called from (800) 274-5282 . I looked it up and it seems to be a California location. I live on the east coast. This is some kind of scam, but I can't figure out how they're making their money. It's got to cost a ton to drive around and leave water then pick it up, then try to get people to pay for it. Anybody else know about this and how it works? I'm honestly fascinated. read more

Horrible company. Ethically and morally corrupt. Surprise fees upon cancellation and outrageous costs that kept on increasing. My argument to them wasn't the fees but the warning before said cancelation. No warning. Nothing. Thank God I used the online chat service. Underneath the $50 dollar fee for cleaning in the fine print contract is a $6 dollar fee for calling about my order. Worst company ever. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR SERVICES. They charged me 6 times this month in error . I called multiple times and was made promises that were not followed through upon. Today I've been placed on hold for an hour , spoke to a person who told me they needed to get a manager the said they would call back if disconnected . Well I was disconnected no call back , now on hold again just to get my money back . this company has poor customer service ! Now they just charged me a 6th time. Worst company. The ended our contract because it didn't align with their business's mission. Well, no love lost. Trying to get in touch with them is the worst! Found another local delivery company that I'm going to try out. Looks like many others are taking their business there as well. I would give them zero stars if I could. Im a website developer. There is not button to cancel services on their site, the opt to "skip a delivery" reverts to "your delivery is on your way" the very next day. Their webmaster programmed the javascript site so no customer skip the service. Ive am over loaded with 8 bottles and the delivery keeps coming. Ive called to cancel, they keep delivering. I have sent text messages to drivers to stop delivering, they hit me with an 8.99 charge. Do not use this service, their chatbots are useless, no opt to cancel within chatbots. or speak to a human. They are violating American Laws by making it impossible for people to call or click a button on their site who are trying to cancel and unlawfully charging cards. I will point this site to a consumer fraud lawyer. read more

NEW UPDATE: A couple of weeks after reporting them to the BBB, I was notified that my account had been closed, which was what I wanted. Still, I had a cooler and 7 bottles that needed returning. Their account closure email gave me NO information as to how to arrange the return of these items. Once again I logged in to see if perhaps that info would be there. OF COURSE NOT. As a matter of fact, my dashboard said that my account was now "inactive" and the ONLY activity I could perform on the website was - you guessed it! - to reactivate the account! Given that I would have burned down my house before doing this, I once again sent them a scathing email via their website's inquiry/question form. Several days LATER, we are now past a month of this account being closed, I got an email with a pickup date of March 23rd. That was over a week away but still I felt that we were headed in the right direction. Today is March 23rd. All the bottles have been placed on my porch, and the cooler is neatly next to it. I just received an email saying that unfortunately, my "delivery" for today has been delayed and rescheduled to March 25th. I live on a steep hill and it is taking everything within me to restrain myself from hurling all of their items down the hill, or into the street to be hopefully hit by a large semi-truck. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH READY REFRESH unless you love horrible customer service, late or nonexistent deliveries, and being held hostage by a frightening inability to close your account to be rid of them or to return their things. I have dealt with some horrible customer service but this is a whole new level of either appalling incompetence or corporate nonchalance. Their ratings on BBB speak volumes. read more

I have an account with ReadyRefresh and am supposed to get monthly delivery of four 5-gallon poland springs. Multiple times I've gotten a text on the morning of my scheduled delivery with delivery time window and then hours after scheduled delivery I get another text stating order won't be delivered but will come in another few days. My last order was short 1 bottle because one of the bottles that was delivered had a leak.I called customer service to notify them minutes after this leaking bottle was delivered. The man told me no trucks would be in my area and I'd have to wait for a replacement bottle with my next order in a month . So now I've had to go out multiple times to the store and purchase water as I was shorted a 5 gallon bottle last month. I was supposed to finally get my delivery of all the water today and again, hours after my scheduled delivery time(which was sent in a text this morning between 11:28-3:28) I was told no water was coming today but would be delivered in another two days. Now it's after 6pm and I have to lod up my infant and toddler to go out to get drinking water. I have hve a 6 week old infant who needs this water for formula feeds. I'm very disappointed with the inconsistency and unreliability of this company. read more

Horrible! I've been a customer for quite a few years and have had awful rental water coolers. Luckily we were home when our brand new cooler started smoking. Had 2 more replacements only to find out that they are REFURBISHED. Never once did they disclose that fact. Now we are on a monthly payment plan for a bottom load cooler. Wow I have never dealt with a company with nothing but flaws well except for one thing the bill is on time every month and it's staggering.. the delivery never comes on time when it does come it's not where it should be ... then I get consistent emails to tip the driver... for what ? Not showing up?? Customer service.. hour and a half to talk to someone that hardly speaks English!!! If you go into your account with the mobile app you can't change anything and 99% of the time it tells you to call customer service . Every month I'm going to a store to buy water!! The only way to stop service is to call your bank and stop the reoccurring charges... took me five minutes... ... you're better off trying to find another company... the problem is most companies are nestle affiliate's... Their delivery is the most unreliable I have ever encountered. It is rare that they EVER come on the scheduled date (I don't even care about the time). And their customer service is now somewhere overseas so they are no help when it comes to delivery issues, other than the standard "I'm so sorry you're having trouble." After years of using them prior to covid, and then stopping because they were so unreliable, I thought I would that maybe they had improved. BIG MISTAKE. They are worse than ever. read more

Horrible company. Terrible customer service. The only water service that is worse is Crystal Springs. Ordered 4 five gallon bottles and a cooler. Website said it would be delivered between 8:45 and 10:45 AM. It's now 1:30 and no show. Went on "chat" and got Rochelle. Prime example of a clueless Ready Refresh employee. After providing my name address and account number as well as the issue I was contacting them about I got a response asking how she could help me. Maybe if she took the time to read my initial chat she might get a general idea of what I was calling about. After telling her I had a window of delivery she said that they could not guarantee a delivery time and suggested that I wait until 5:00 and the delivery would be there. I already wasted the morning and now they want me to waste the rest of the day. Why provide a delivery window if it's meaningless?? Then she had the unmitigated gall to solicit more services from me. What a clueless idiot!!! Looks like this is going to be a short lived deal. I seriously doubt they'll get their act together anytime soon. There are no words other then really terrible service. Waiting over 4 weeks for our scheduled service that gets delayed day after day. Long wait to get through to customer service which of course is in another country and they are really sorry but never resolve the problem. If you are looking for a water delivery, you will die of thirst before ReadyRefresh will ever come to deliver it. My recommendation is any other solution then signing up with them. read more

Deliveries person doesn't know how to count. Consistently delivers wrong number of bottles or doesn't show up when scheduled.
