I'm a Treehouse alumni, and I'm giving this place four out of five stars…read more Not because it fell short, but because I've never been to treatment before. So I don't have comparisons. And because a five-star review would feel curated for performance instead of written in truth. The truth is... Treehouse is an experience I will never forget. It is also not for everyone. I didn't come to Treehouse looking for recovery. I came because I was running out of time. By the time I arrived, the damage was already real. My body was failing. My mind was loud. My spirit was thin. I wasn't carrying hope, I was carrying consequences. Medical. Relational. Moral. I didn't believe I deserved another chance. I wasn't even sure I could survive one. Treehouse didn't ask me to believe. They asked me to stay. The early days weren't inspiring. They were brutal. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I collapsed. I shook. I hallucinated. Every morning felt like a resurrection. Every night felt like a funeral. And people I didn't know yet showed up anyway, quietly, practically, without speeches or slogans. This place doesn't perform care. It practices it. Sobriety here isn't treated like the finish line. It's the entry fee. The work is honesty. On paper, out loud, and in how you respond when you're exposed. Language you once hid behind doesn't survive here. I came in believing survival was enough. I learned here that responsibility is the goal. Brotherhood isn't sentimental. It's earned. Men who will call you out without casting you out. Men who don't rescue you, but don't let you disappear either. Somewhere in that pressure, I stopped hiding. I started standing. My body came back before my confidence did. One breath. One step. One honest effort when quitting would've been easier. Discipline replaced chaos. The lies I told myself didn't survive consistency. The body doesn't lie. It also doesn't rebuild without truth. Treehouse didn't erase my past. They taught me how to carry it without letting it poison what comes next. I don't live perfectly now. I live aligned. I know my values. I know my patterns. I know what steadies me and what costs me. I show up differently. To work, my body, other people, and myself. If you're looking for comfort, this may not be the place. If you're looking for truth, structure, and a program that will ask more of you than you think you can give, and stay with you while you give it, this place matters. I know, because I applied the work.

The website, email and phone number have not worked for me. I am ready to file a complaint. Under the CARES Act and California SB 510, insurers are required to reimburse COVID-related services at posted cash rates. Also, Rume's document itself says: "With insurance information, these services were 'no cost to patients' as insurance payers were required to cover medical procedures associated with Covid-19, even from non-contracted providers." That's Rume's own statement contradicting the bill.. what a crappy company. I have creditors now calling me constantly. I will get this fixed but please stay away from this horrible company! Sharing here as well because this company is insane and I can see from all the other reviews I am not alone.

The billing represents a predatory scam that is being perpetuated a lot of people. B) Blue Shield is aware of late claims for COVID tests-they don't pay after 24 months (I don't blame them) D) Good luck to Rume if they now send ME a bill! Even if this was legit for a COVID test, they should have billed on time. There is ample evidence that these scammers are being systematically identified. In the end, the Rume Health organization may have legal challenges to contend with (Read: Class action suit).

I've become more confident, especially at work, and I've been able to recognize strengths in myself that I didn't always see before. Since my diagnosis, I've even gotten promoted, which is something I'm really proud of. I feel like I'm finally learning how to work with my brain instead of constantly fighting against it. Dr. Ahmadi listens, understands, and has helped me feel more confident in myself and what I'm capable of. I'm genuinely thankful for the support and guidance I've received.

Each time that I spoke with her on each one of my appointments she offered me a refill, but I told her I didn't need one at that time because I still had some left. But when I notified them that I wanted to change Doctors because I was not comfortable with her they told me I could still get a refill since I was down to only two and I would need them and I couldn't see the new doctor for a month. So I called and asked for a few more just to make sure I had them so I can take them "as needed" or just have them in case I need them until I see the next doctor and even though she offered me refills several times she denied giving me a refill once she knew that I wasn't going to use her anymore and told me to just go ahead and go to the emergency room if I needed help. When she knows very well that the emergency room is not necessary for panic attacks. But the medication helps. It was basically her FU to me and retaliatory. Because she was mad that I was not going to want to use her anymore so she has decided that she was not going to give me a refill and basically told me to F off and go to the hospital if I needed help. Mind you that in 74 days of having the medication I only took eight. But she basically treated me as if I was some sort of pill seeker that just wanted more and more pills. When really in reality she knows very well that I'm just trying to make sure that I don't have to go to the hospital every single day and spend thousands of dollars at the hospital for panic attack attacks. She's very cruel and dismissive

ASANA RECOVERY IS CURRENTLY FACING A FEDERAL LAWSUIT FOR FRAUD & NEGLIGENCE…read more READ THE LAWSUIT: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cq3gnpNqva4opuuaMqTkKebBPMPAGeGB/view?usp=drivesdk I was a client at Asana Recovery, and I feel a responsibility to share my experience so that others don't end up in the same distressing and unsafe situation. This facility is not what it advertises. While the staff members were often kind and clearly doing the best they could under impossible circumstances, they were the only positive aspect of my time there -- and unfortunately, their hands were tied by the facility's terrible management, lack of clinical oversight, and unethical practices. To begin with, Asana fails to provide even the most basic elements of actual rehabilitation. There was no real medical supervision, no clinicians on-site, and absolutely no structure. Days passed without therapy, treatment programming, or meaningful support. There were no scheduled group sessions with professionals, no one-on-one counseling, and nothing that resembled a recovery plan. It felt more like a holding facility than a treatment center. The living conditions added to the chaos. Food was scarce -- there were barely enough groceries to prepare proper meals, and dietary needs were ignored. There were no outings & no stimulation. We were isolated and left to sit in discomfort both physically and mentally. It felt like we were being warehoused until insurance ran out. But what truly shook me -- and what I still struggle to process -- was what happened when I expressed the desire to leave. As soon as I mentioned wanting to leave AMA (Against Medical Advice), everything changed. Staff abruptly cut off my phone calls. I was told I couldn't have access to my personal belongings -- including my wallet, phone, and ID -- for 72 hours. Without my belongings, I had no way to safely leave or contact anyone. It was a deliberate tactic to trap clients inside. This wasn't just my experience -- I personally witnessed other clients being manipulated or pressured into staying, even when they were clearly not receiving appropriate care. One person begged to go to the emergency room due to a serious medical issue, and they were denied. It was terrifying. The lengths Asana will go to in order to keep clients on the census -- whether or not it's safe -- are absolutely unethical. To be clear: the staff I met were compassionate and tried their best, but they had no real authority. The core problem is the facility itself -- the leadership, the system, the absence of actual clinical care, and the way they manipulate and trap vulnerable people for profit. If you are looking for help, please avoid Asana Recovery. You deserve real treatment with licensed professionals, safety, dignity, and respect. This was not that.
