And because a five-star review would feel curated for performance instead of written in truth. The truth is... Treehouse is an experience I will never forget. It is also not for everyone. I didn't come to Treehouse looking for recovery. I came because I was running out of time. By the time I arrived, the damage was already real. My body was failing. My mind was loud. My spirit was thin. I wasn't carrying hope, I was carrying consequences. Medical. Relational. Moral. I didn't believe I deserved another chance. I wasn't even sure I could survive one. Treehouse didn't ask me to believe. They asked me to stay. The early days weren't inspiring. They were brutal. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I collapsed. I shook. I hallucinated. Every morning felt like a resurrection. Every night felt like a funeral. And people I didn't know yet showed up anyway, quietly, practically, without speeches or slogans. This place doesn't perform care. It practices it. Sobriety here isn't treated like the finish line. It's the entry fee. The work is honesty. On paper, out loud, and in how you respond when you're exposed. Language you once hid behind doesn't survive here. I came in believing survival was enough. I learned here that responsibility is the goal. Brotherhood isn't sentimental. It's earned. Men who will call you out without casting you out. Men who don't rescue you, but don't let you disappear either. Somewhere in that pressure, I stopped hiding. I started standing. My body came back before my confidence did. One breath. One step. One honest effort when quitting would've been easier. Discipline replaced chaos. The lies I told myself didn't survive consistency. The body doesn't lie. It also doesn't rebuild without truth. Treehouse didn't erase my past. They taught me how to carry it without letting it poison what comes next. I don't live perfectly now. I live aligned. I know my values. I know my patterns. I know what steadies me and what costs me. I show up differently. To work, my body, other people, and myself. If you're looking for comfort, this may not be the place. If you're looking for truth, structure, and a program that will ask more of you than you think you can give, and stay with you while you give it, this place matters. I know, because I applied the work.

The website, email and phone number have not worked for me. I am ready to file a complaint. Under the CARES Act and California SB 510, insurers are required to reimburse COVID-related services at posted cash rates. Also, Rume's document itself says: "With insurance information, these services were 'no cost to patients' as insurance payers were required to cover medical procedures associated with Covid-19, even from non-contracted providers." That's Rume's own statement contradicting the bill.. what a crappy company. I have creditors now calling me constantly. I will get this fixed but please stay away from this horrible company! Sharing here as well because this company is insane and I can see from all the other reviews I am not alone.

Reposting earlier commentary from many others who've received the same spam email:…read more A) I never heard of or went to Rume Health. The billing represents a predatory scam that is being perpetuated a lot of people. B) Blue Shield is aware of late claims for COVID tests-they don't pay after 24 months (I don't blame them) D) Good luck to Rume if they now send ME a bill! Even if this was legit for a COVID test, they should have billed on time. There is ample evidence that these scammers are being systematically identified. In the end, the Rume Health organization may have legal challenges to contend with (Read: Class action suit).

When I made the decision to enter their 30 day program after 6 days in detox I really had no idea…read morewhat to expect but after just a couple days I began to realize the positive changes that were going to happen to me both emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. I enjoyed spending time with a diverse group of both men and women and made some new friends as a result of my time here. The counselors were all very friendly and helpful especially Trisha who onboarding me upon my arrival and then helped me with our counsel and advice throughout my entire stay. Jesse was also great too...had a very good way of drawing information and truth out of patients and had a wicked sense of humor as well. The one problem I had, and it was a substantial one, was the treatment I received from my assigned therapist Jessica and the head therapist, Brittany. They both harassed me about going through their additional Out-Patient program, known as PHP, even after I told them numerous times that I could not and would not sign up for this. They called my brother and my daughter in an attempt to get the to support their agenda, trying to scare them into convincing me. They both had what seemed to be rehearsed lines. In a meeting with both of them Brittany kept asking me why I couldn't go 5 times after I told her that I had to get back to the 2 restaurants I owned and operated. It was only after I told them that I had retained counsel and that I was told not to respond to them if they continued to bring this subject up. It was only after I mentioned this that they stopped trying to convince me I needed to go to PHP. I had conversations with several other patients, both male and female, who complained about them brow beating them about going to PHP as well and had called relatives trying to, again, scare them as well. I found this extremely unprofessional and was told by a Doctor friend who works for Hoag that the PHP program is a real money maker for them, which explained everything. The Patient Bill of Rights states that we are not to be subject to any 'coercion' but their actions and conversation went way beyond simple coercion into serious harassment and to some of the women involved created serious emotional distress. Unfortunately, this put a pall over my total experience at SolMar only salvaged by the good work of the counselors. I hope this will bring some attention to others who might be considering SolMar for themselves or loved ones. Kindly...

This is my…read morefirst time going through treatment, and after over four months in the program, I can confidently say that I'm leaving a better man than the one who walked through those doors. The level of care and support they provide is incredible. The staff is truly outstanding, and what stands out most to me is that they genuinely listen to my concerns and make me feel heard. You're not just another person going through a program here. There are people who care about your recovery, your well-being, and your future, and that makes a world of difference. Over these past four months, I've had the opportunity to witness so much growth, not only in myself but also in the people around me. Watching others work through their own struggles and grow alongside me has been an incredible experience. Oasis has given me the structure, support, tools, and opportunities to work on myself in ways I never thought possible. Through the program and Alcoholics Anonymous, I've learned how to live life on life's terms, take accountability for my actions, and appreciate the things I once took for granted. More than anything, I'm grateful for the life I have today. I have something worth fighting for, something I can be proud of, and something I want to hold on to dearly. My recovery has allowed me to become a better man for my fiancé, my family, and myself. I'm learning how to show up for the people I love, how to be present, and how to build a future based on honesty, gratitude, and responsibility. If you're struggling and considering treatment, I hope you give yourself the chance to experience what recovery can offer. Coming to Oasis has given me opportunities I'm genuinely thankful for, and through AA and the support I've received here, I can truly say I'm a changed man. Thank you, Oasis Treatment Center, for helping me build a life I'm proud of and one that I no longer want to run away from. I'll always be grateful for the role you've played in my recovery.
