Really loved this place. We got there around 7 and talked to Mike the manager and unfortunately an older couple had their RV breakdown so our spot wasn't available. $&@" happens so when it does what is important is how it's handled- he let us park across a row that was empty (we are 65 feet with rig and trailer) so we had a place for the night. Then we moved to the pull through the next day - did I mention they comped both nights. I would have gladly paid but Mike apologized profusely. Really chill- really no pool hours as long as you aren't crazy loud I imagine. Fire pit that the community gathered around on Saturday night. It's a Palm farm right next door and they are planting new palms around the park. If we are in the area we will definitely stay there again.

Oranges , lemons, limes, grapefruit, tangerines ~ picked fresh daily. On the RV grounds! Host are wonderful. Thank you Ann for the day trip ideas .

    Shade trees on tent site

Long time tent camper, first time mingling with the RV bunch. Tent sites were basic, with fruit trees planted at each site for some decent shade. Came with two kids and they both really dug the air conditioned rec room. Location is surrounded by some kind of palm date farm or something, that gives you a weird surrounded by palm trees vibe, I guess that's the oasis part. BATHROOMS WERE IMMACULATE AND FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. Not much more can be said than that.

This RV Park is really nice, with lots to do if you're bored! First, the two things I didn't like: Irresponsible pet owners... even though there is a huge dog run, some guests let their dogs run around to pee wherever they wish, yes, even on other campers' property and some take the dogs to poo at the tent sites instead of the dog run- rules need to be explained. The other thing that didn't bother me much, but did keep my husband awake on first night was the amount of road noise, try to get a space away from the road. Now, everything else is wonderful: stocked catfish lake with rowboat adults can use to fish, no kidding! Tennis courts and recreation room, coffee and pastries in the morning, fire pit, gas grill, clean laundry, bathrooms and showers. Oh, and the wi-Fi was amazing, zero issues with that, better than any great hotel we've stayed in years! As mentioned in other posts, there are flies, so we'll bring some sort of fly traps next time, but there are no smells and they cover and dump the trash often; just nature, I guess. We stayed with a 34' RV and had no issues with the space as they all are level concrete slabs. Full hook ups, minus cable, but we have Roku/Amazon prime, so we were all set. Definitely a nice place and we recommend the Oasis Palms.

One of the better looking camp sites/units

You get what you pay for and this park is adequate at best for the price. It is old and clearly in decline. Beware, the pictures and term resort are misleading. They cater to full time RV-ers and have very few rules for keeping sites clean and orderly. Many of the full timers have excessive junk, garbage, toys, vehicles, etc. Cluttering their sites. The residents and staff are pleasant, quiet, and respectful of your privacy and space. It is gated but you will need to pay a $20 CASH (no credit/debit) deposit for a key card. Well behaved dogs are allowed off leash but there are not many dogs in residence. There is a large dog run but it was VERY overgrown and we felt not usable due to insect and flea/tick concerns. Most important to note the water (sourced from a well) is NOT SAFE to drink or cook with due to excessive arsenic and fluoride. There are however 3 locations in the park with reverse osmosis filters to fill water jugs. The water is safe for bathing and dishes but does have a large amount of sediment and discoloration. It is severe enough that our onboard filter was not sufficient, it left rust colored residue in our porcelain toilet, and for the first time ever we had to add an inline filter as well. Laundry facilities are available but due to poor water quality we chose to do laundry in town. In addition California is in a severe water crisis yet leaking faucets are prevalent here and some full time residents run sprinklers at their sites. Two of these sprinklers near us ran around the clock for at least 48 hours straight. This park was sufficient for our needs for the week we were here, but I can not recommend it nor would I return. We camped at Oasis Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

    Ants swarming everywhere

Flies and ants! This place seems like it may have been nice in the past, but it's now under new management and in recovery mode, supposedly. We stayed in a popup camper and booked two nights. It's rundown and dirty. There are broken down lawn mowers strewn about. But, you could overlook those things, because you will wish desperately that you could get away from the flies and ants. The flies are horrendous, and swarm into your RV, car, or tent immediately. You'll spend a lot of time killing them before you go to sleep. I know we did. This place is in the middle of large agricultural plots. It's like staying at a farm in that sense... Flies and ants. The ants are so bad that your foot and leg will be covered in 5 seconds. We ran around stamping and waving our arms like lunatics. Abort, abort!

What a horrible experience flies and gnats. Water that can't be drunk because it contains arsenic. Garbage piled up in trash bins. NO!

Huge TVs for sports games showing, and a cool arcade for the kids up above. Reason for my rating of 4 out of 5, we constantly had a problem with our keys deactivating, several times we had to go down stairs to activate them again and again. It's a family hotel so there's a lot of children, with that being said children are running around halls and floors causing rumbling throughout. Sometimes relaxing in your room may not be possible due to noises. The coffee shop was definitely a plus, the downside is the employees are not patient and good service depends on if they are tipped. Cava was great and customer service and food on point! We will be back regardless of small issues, hopefully the hotel can fix these issues for a 5 star next time.

I love how once you check in, you are welcomed with water, welcome drinks, and if different social events. This may I came during Mother's Day and they offered free cocktails and bites. The rooms are huge, and the views are amazing. I had a view of the golf course. Besides that there are multiple pools; adult, the regular pool and splashtopia (lazy river and slides). What's nice is that during summer nights they have movies by the pool. There is also a gym, few restaurants, and tiki social. There is free parking as well as parking for the guests. Wonderful stay with your loved ones, friends and or family.

This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was very dated (so expect that going in) but very clean--I could tell by how clean my kids' feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room with a pull-out couch was a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The "water park" is more of a well-done kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great--generous portions, and the kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. I didn't enjoy a drink myself but the drink menu was tempting and others seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were excited about the breakfast buffet at the Desert Pearl. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the adult options weren't especially appealing so I decided to pass. What really stood out was the staff--every single person we encountered (front desk, restaurant staff, bellman, security, and pool team) was friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we discovered after checkout that my son left his lovey there, they drove me back via golf cart to try to retrieve it. Overall, everyone offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only downside was finding quite a few mosquitoes and a moth in the room, likely due to our proximity to the lake. If the room were a bit more updated, pest-free, and did not come with the Coachella tax we paid, this would've easily been a 5-star stay for us.

But there are some things I think they can improve on, rather the whole company, and because of this I'm giving it 4.5 stars. I'll start with what they can improve on: their "highly suggested" sales pitch disguised as an owner update meeting. Now I know it comes with the territory but is something I do not look forward to. Most times they go over the 1 hour time slot and turns into a sales pitch to buy more and make it seem like you're foolish for not seeing the value. It hasn't been so bad at this location but just a reminder that people are on vacation and they would rather not be spending time in a meeting when there's relaxing to do! Ok I'm done with that, now on to all the things I like about this location. This property is slightly tucked away behind homes and a golf course, giving it a private feel. The entire property is very well maintained with staff walking around the property at all times. There is also so much to do, including the main attraction - the lazy river, pools, tennis, pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard and a fantastic entertainment room and gym. There are also many grills scattered throughout the property as well as seating areas. And my favorite, the on-site spa which I've always had such a good experience at. They have decent priced massages and they do a great job. I must also mention the rooms; they are spacious and comfortable and provide all the amenities that you need including all kitchen utensils and washer/dryer. Many if not all also have very nice views from the balcony. This is a truly excellent property where anyone can find what they're looking for in a vacation.

I stayed at WorldMark Indio for the Coachella weekend and, while the property and the resort are…read morebeautiful, there are a lot of minor things that really just became an annoyance to me during my stay. Because it was the weekend of the Coachella music festival, the entire resort was full and it was extremely busy. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Since it is a WorldMark location, we were offered the timeshare presentation (marketed as a "tour of the property"); we politely declined and they never bothered us again about it. The following items really annoyed me and I am not sure whether this is the norm or if it was because it was busy and the resort was full. - The resort DOES NOT provide additional towels. You can only replace dirty towels by calling housekeeping and trading your dirty towels for new ones. I have never seen a resort/hotel do this and did not like this practice. Just really annoying. - The resort does not offer housekeeping, even though we stayed for 4 nights! Our room was never cleaned as a result and we had to take the trash out ourselves. I even tried leaving the trash outside my door so that housekeeping can just grab it, but I found that it was just left there all day. Some other cons... - The AC does not work in the bedrooms. It is strong in the living rooms, but there is no air in the bedrooms for some reason. Being in the desert, it was sooo hot getting up to the high 90s outside. AC is necessary! - The food in the market/cafe is pretty mid... With WorldMark Indio being a large well-known resort in the area, I would expect the cafe food to be better. Pro though - I like that they have a market/cafe; definitely helpful to get a quick lunch in before heading to Coachella. - The security becomes very aggressive if you do not have their resort wristbands on. I accidentally left mine in the room on the first day and was almost not let back onto the property even though I could tell them my full name with ID... The best and really the only PRO I can tell you about is that there are shuttles here that take you to the festival! It is run by a private company called LF Festivals. It is very convenient and costs $145 per person. It is expensive but it was convenient and made it so that we had one less thing to think about. One thing they could work on though is the wait times. I waited over an hour sometimes to get onto a shuttle since the line was so long. Sometimes though there was no wait and I got onto a van immediately. Okay, I know I have a lot of negatives to say but it's a solid place to stay. I guess I just had high expectations because of the high price. Overall, nearly every staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and the front desk is quick to answer the phone when you need assistance with something. The room was clean and there is a microwave, fridge, freezer, and stove. Very convenient.
