I stayed at WorldMark Indio for the Coachella weekend and, while the property and the resort are…read morebeautiful, there are a lot of minor things that really just became an annoyance to me during my stay. Because it was the weekend of the Coachella music festival, the entire resort was full and it was extremely busy. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Since it is a WorldMark location, we were offered the timeshare presentation (marketed as a "tour of the property"); we politely declined and they never bothered us again about it. The following items really annoyed me and I am not sure whether this is the norm or if it was because it was busy and the resort was full. - The resort DOES NOT provide additional towels. You can only replace dirty towels by calling housekeeping and trading your dirty towels for new ones. I have never seen a resort/hotel do this and did not like this practice. Just really annoying. - The resort does not offer housekeeping, even though we stayed for 4 nights! Our room was never cleaned as a result and we had to take the trash out ourselves. I even tried leaving the trash outside my door so that housekeeping can just grab it, but I found that it was just left there all day. Some other cons... - The AC does not work in the bedrooms. It is strong in the living rooms, but there is no air in the bedrooms for some reason. Being in the desert, it was sooo hot getting up to the high 90s outside. AC is necessary! - The food in the market/cafe is pretty mid... With WorldMark Indio being a large well-known resort in the area, I would expect the cafe food to be better. Pro though - I like that they have a market/cafe; definitely helpful to get a quick lunch in before heading to Coachella. - The security becomes very aggressive if you do not have their resort wristbands on. I accidentally left mine in the room on the first day and was almost not let back onto the property even though I could tell them my full name with ID... The best and really the only PRO I can tell you about is that there are shuttles here that take you to the festival! It is run by a private company called LF Festivals. It is very convenient and costs $145 per person. It is expensive but it was convenient and made it so that we had one less thing to think about. One thing they could work on though is the wait times. I waited over an hour sometimes to get onto a shuttle since the line was so long. Sometimes though there was no wait and I got onto a van immediately. Okay, I know I have a lot of negatives to say but it's a solid place to stay. I guess I just had high expectations because of the high price. Overall, nearly every staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and the front desk is quick to answer the phone when you need assistance with something. The room was clean and there is a microwave, fridge, freezer, and stove. Very convenient.

We checked in, unloaded the bags up front, and parked the car. We went straight to the room, unpacked a little, and changed for the pool. The lounge chairs are first come first serve and were all taken. The kids went straight to the sand/beach area while we looked for a spot to sit. We got lucky and some chairs opened up. We enjoyed the pool all afternoon and into the night. We ordered food, drinks, and the kids enjoyed a movie they played on a large screen. The pool water was warm and the pool was 3 feet around and in some places 4 feet max. The room was large, quiet, and had a great view. We went to sleep and woke up early for breakfast. The kids loved the buffet and trying a variety of food items. When the pool opened, we quickly found spots close to the sand/ beach area. Weather was great, pool was warm, and everyone enjoyed relaxing. You can order food and drinks at the bar or place your order with the waiters walking around. There are plenty of places to eat at the resort and food options. There are restaurants close by or DoorDash available if you want something else. There is a shop inside with items to purchase and an arcade. This place was great and a very relaxing, even with the kids. The kids enjoyed themselves and had fun, making it that much more enjoyable for us. Money well spent!

Let the front desk know that and did a repost because these are bed bug bites. We got moved to another room and we enjoyed our outside again, when we came to the room, our TV doesn't work. We tried connecting our phone to the tv the same way we had done on the first room. But keeps saying the tv doesn't have network connection. We used the phone that's in the room to call the front desk and guess what?? Yuppppp our phone in the room doesn't work ether!!!! Now it's 11 pm and we're waiting for IT service guy to come to our room to fix it. It's bad enough the bed bug issue we had at the first room and now we're having other issues in this other room they put us. It's an uncomfortable feeling having someone to come to your room at this time at night to fix something that shouldn't have even been messed up. It's a new room they sent us too so all this should have been taken care of prior to moving us. Very upset that all this is happening on my finances birthday and will never come here again. There are beautifully maintained pools and a giant waterslide for water fun (much needed in the desert heat). I came for a business conference and the staff did an amazing job with keeping all guests well fed and well caffeinated throughout the week. The evening time events were beautifully put on with a nice selection of hors d'oueurves always coming around and well prepped pop bars with a good selection of wines, beers, cocktails, and mocktails. There are also restaurants, cafes, and a coffee shop on site. The rooms themselves are very clean and modern. The is a spacious work area that is cozy and well suited for some focus work time. The beds are king sized, comfortable, and make for a good night's sleep. The bathrooms are large with plenty of counter space and a separate shower and bathtub. The stay at Grand Hyatt was fantastic and I would highly recommend it for your conference needs.

The best part about this is it's essentially a water park/hotel. I have a 1-1/2 year old and it's VERY family oriented. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the resort, a market to buy essentials and snacks, plenty of pools and slides, and a lot of other things to enjoy around the area. $300 Missing From an ATM -- Still Trying to Get Help…read more Yelp Review I hesitate to write this because I really don't like submitting negative reviews, but I've had an extremely difficult time getting help from Fantasy Springs with a serious situation. On August 5, I used an ATM inside the casino and attempted to withdraw $360. The machine only dispensed $60, leaving me $300 short. I immediately reported it to an attendant. After trying to find someone who could help, he explained that because the ATM was operated by an outside company, Everi, I would need to contact them and Wells Fargo. I followed those instructions and trusted that the system would straighten this out. It didn't. Wells Fargo temporarily credited my account while investigating, but later denied my claim because their investigation indicated that the full amount had been dispensed. They then took the temporary credit back. That's the entire problem: the ATM's records may say $360 was dispensed, but only $60 physically came out. I called Wells Fargo, requested further review, and specifically asked whether anyone had considered surveillance footage. I was told they had sufficient information from the ATM company. I later went personally to a Wells Fargo branch, where a banker filed another complaint for me but explained there was probably little the branch could do because it wasn't a Wells Fargo ATM. I have not returned to Fantasy Springs since the night this happened. After Wells Fargo denied my claim, I called the Fantasy Springs host office. My host initially offered $75 in FreePlay and later increased it to $150. I appreciated the gesture, but FreePlay isn't cash. It has to be gambled, with no guarantee how much will ultimately become money I can take home. By then I was so tired of fighting this that I offered a compromise: give me $300 in FreePlay and I would bite the bullet, call it a day and consider the matter resolved--even though I'm actually missing $300 cash. They declined and said $150 was their final goodwill offer. I also asked Fantasy Springs to review its surveillance footage. Initially I was told footage couldn't be released or shown to guests. I clarified that I wasn't asking to see it--I was asking someone at Fantasy Springs to review it themselves. I provided the date and timestamp. I was then told they were unable to review or release the footage to determine or resolve the ATM issue. I understand that video might not show exactly how many bills came out. But when a customer reports a $300 shortage immediately after it happens, I don't understand why potentially corroborating evidence isn't even reviewed. I continued asking to speak with upper management because, as I wrote to my host, "I would prefer to work this out reasonably." I was told management had been consulted and $150 in FreePlay was the final offer. When I requested further management review, I received this message: "Requesting further management review may affect the availability of this offer." Later I was asked when I wanted to come use the $150. I said I couldn't come that night and would be in touch. The response was: "Ok. Will cancel your free play." I have not accepted or used the FreePlay. So I'm still caught in the middle. Wells Fargo says its investigation indicates $360 was dispensed. The ATM is operated by an outside company. Fantasy Springs says it can't resolve the ATM transaction and won't review its surveillance footage for this purpose. But I know what came out of that machine: $60. I'm still missing $300, and I reported it immediately. I'm not asking Fantasy Springs to simply hand me $300 based on my word. I'm asking for someone with the authority to meaningfully investigate what happened. I even offered to accept $300 in FreePlay instead of cash just to put this behind me. I would be happy to update this review if someone in management steps in and helps find a reasonable solution. Until then, I'm still out $300.

The restaurant is surprisingly good but they should really get some lower temperature lighting, it feels like a senior center at night. I swear I saw a dimmer on the wall so maybe it's just not used. On other days Elvia was super helpful, always aware of who needed water poolside and anticipated when we wanted to order food and drinks. We went one day without any room refresh service that the hotel made up for with extra waters and detailed service the next day. The only thing I'd recommend to the hotel is to do more detailed cleanup of their buildings on the exterior areas, especially in the corners. Lots of dust and webs. I think this level of detail would help elevate the feel.

Now let's talk about one of the biggest perks: the pool is truly open 24 hours. Not "almost" 24 hours, actually 24 hours! I definitely took advantage of that and found myself enjoying the heated pool at 1:00 a.m. It was such a relaxing experience and something you don't find at many hotels. What really made this stay stand out, though, was the customer service. Every single employee I encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to help. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The only potential downside is that there are no elevators. It wasn't an issue for me, but if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or have mobility concerns, it's something to keep in mind. I wasn't able to try the complimentary breakfast, which is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., so I can't speak on the food. But based on the rest of my experience, I would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, a heated pool you can enjoy anytime, and outstanding customer service, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The grounds are quiet the hotel bed and pillows had to be the most comfortable I've ever slept in all the way at a hotel. I don't think I've ever had such a great sleep. Honestly, when you're traveling, the bathroom was quite large as well I was a little bummed at the water pressure and how low the showerhead was my husband 63 but again it was very clean spacious and such so it didn't take away from anything. The parking lot in front of check-in is pretty small but they do offer additional parking across the street. If need be we had no issues when we were here. All staff we encountered was super friendly and if we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop here.

There are no restaurants within walking distance, but there is a nice selection only 2 or 3 miles away.
