Now let's talk about one of the biggest perks: the pool is truly open 24 hours. Not "almost" 24 hours, actually 24 hours! I definitely took advantage of that and found myself enjoying the heated pool at 1:00 a.m. It was such a relaxing experience and something you don't find at many hotels. What really made this stay stand out, though, was the customer service. Every single employee I encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to help. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The only potential downside is that there are no elevators. It wasn't an issue for me, but if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or have mobility concerns, it's something to keep in mind. I wasn't able to try the complimentary breakfast, which is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., so I can't speak on the food. But based on the rest of my experience, I would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, a heated pool you can enjoy anytime, and outstanding customer service, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Also, maybe upgrade the technology a little bit and have a place where you can plug in your phone, watch, etc. in the room and maybe not have to use a metal key to get in the room. A quick walk-through monthly would also check four places need to be cleaned or painted or repaired so that doesn't look quite as rundown. And you could charge more for the rooms and everyone would be happy

The kids were ecstatic with the size of the room, and my husband and I liked that there was a full size fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and a six person dining table. There were also two fullsized bathrooms, with the master bath including a tub. We had a king sized bed in the bedroom, and the kids slept on the sofa bed. The waterpark was the main attraction and our kids loved the lazy river, both waterslides, and the various pools. It was nice that there were smaller pools you could go to if you wanted a quieter experience. There was also a tot area with a smaller waterslide and splashpad and wading pool. Room keys were on the wristband, so you could wear that while swimming and not worry about losing your room keys. Globalists get free breakfast for two adults and two kids. During the week, there's regular restaurant service. On Fridays, Saturday and Sundays, there is a buffet brunch and that was much better than the weekday breakfast. Globalists also receive free access to the spa area, which was nice. Staff was all very friendly and kind and eager to help, which made the experience very pleasant. We hope to return next year, but we'll bring water shoes next time -- the pavement gets hot and sometimes you exit the lazy river or pool in a different area than where you left your sandals.

After checking in to our facing the pool, which gave us a really great view for the weekend, we stepped out and dined in at Fisherman's Landing. The property is still in great shape and beautifully landscaped with tons of lush greenery. It's so easy to walk around, and we loved just sitting on a bench to relax, watch the boats sail by, people-watch, and catch the sunset together. Can't wait to get back!!

The only thing I'd recommend to the hotel is to do more detailed cleanup of their buildings on the exterior areas, especially in the corners. Lots of dust and webs. I think this level of detail would help elevate the feel.

The kids loved the buffet and trying a variety of food items. When the pool opened, we quickly found spots close to the sand/ beach area. Weather was great, pool was warm, and everyone enjoyed relaxing. You can order food and drinks at the bar or place your order with the waiters walking around. There are plenty of places to eat at the resort and food options. There are restaurants close by or DoorDash available if you want something else. There is a shop inside with items to purchase and an arcade. This place was great and a very relaxing, even with the kids. We used the phone that's in the room to call the front desk and guess what?? Yuppppp our phone in the room doesn't work ether!!!! Now it's 11 pm and we're waiting for IT service guy to come to our room to fix it. It's bad enough the bed bug issue we had at the first room and now we're having other issues in this other room they put us. It's an uncomfortable feeling having someone to come to your room at this time at night to fix something that shouldn't have even been messed up. I've been coming here since 2021, once or twice a year. I really enjoy the area, service,…read morebreakfast, and Social Hour. This time around, there was a bit of confusion with our room booked, through Booking (not the actual hotel), and Rene, Denise, and Jay were all extremely helpful in getting us the room we needed. I came last year in June and September, when renovations were happening, and now that they are done, the hotel looks great. I always enjoy their full breakfasts, in the morning, and a coffee/tea station that is always available. The past few times, I have visited, now include different tacos each morning, and many breakfast items to choose from. They also have Social Hour on Wednesdays, which is a nice touch. Social Hour seems to be more regulated than a few times before when people, who were not guests, were coming in causing a major disruption, both in the kitchen area and pool. One area that should be highly considered is the overall cleanliness of the room, especially with these new renovations. My bed spread/top blanket was not clean. It smelled musty and dirty as if it's not being washed between guests. I pulled this off and never used it during my stay. The thermostat was also very dirty with dirt and whatever else. I always bring sanitizing wipes to clean down surfaces and they came in handy. In addition, I always use the kitchen area to make something or use the dishes. On many occasions, including this visit, every dish, glass, or utensil I pulled out had crumbs, dry food, or smudges on them. There is no soap or sponge in the kitchenette, so I do bring my own, but these should be fully cleaned and sanitized before each guests arrival. Upon leaving, I did a full dishwasher wash of every utensil, glass, and plates/bowls in the cabinet. My stay here is usually quiet, safe, relaxing and comfortable, and overall, this is a great place to stay.
