TRAVELERS BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE. This is not a normal camping RV park. It is really a very old…read more(1969) mobile home park with about 600+ permanent residences. There are only 28 pull thru sites for short term rental. And they are located right at the park entrance with no gate, no check-in stop and no lighting, cameras or security. The first and only night we stayed here our $2,000+ electric bike was stolen off our locked and covered bike rack at 3:30am. And the Thule bike rack was ruined. We were awakened at that time by a loud but short motor sound followed by a bang and a shaking of our trailer. At first we thought the wind had blown something into our trailer. It took a couple of minutes to gather our thoughts and look out the windows before going outside. After cautiously proceeding, it was discovered that our bike had been stolen. The next morning we spoke with another camper 1 space over to see if he had seen or heard anything and he did hear the noise but didn't see anything. He also thought it might have been wind related and thus put his awing in. He did however, inform us that at check-in he was told "if you have bikes or camp valuables they recommend that you keep them inside your RV if you are gone or at night". The reason is they have had theft problems before in the RV pull thru sites. We were not given this piece of information. Also that morning we spoke with a full time resident who was taking a walk and she told us this has been a chronic problem at the RV pull thru sites and the complex has done nothing to resolve it. And they usually will warn you to secure everything. We did call the police and they came out to take a report and they confirmed that bike, motor cycle and car theft is pretty pervasive in this area. And they aren't sure why the complex hasn't done anything for better security. Now comes the bulls--t from the management or office staff. We went to complain and inform them of the theft and to request our money back. We also asked why they didn't inform us of the problem and the recommendation to lock stuff in your RV. The woman said "oh we never tell anybody that" which means our site neighbor and the resident just made that up. I asked why there is no gate or lights or cameras or security and here is her response. I paraphrase "The police don't care to even look at camera footage, the city won't let us put in a gate, (even though the police have recommended it), we are not responsible for stolen property or damages". I even asked why wouldn't you attach a flyer or note in the check-in paper work letting people know there is a theft problem in the area? Her response was "if we did that people wouldn't want to stay here". So the result is get your property stolen so we don't lose any customers. Now comes the wonderful customer service - NOT!! At first they offered to return our money. But after going through all the "why do nothing for security" options my wife said "well, we will be noting this problem in our review", and the lady responded "well, if you're going to give us a bad review, forget the refund" and threw my credit back at me. Good Sam has been notified of the park problems and that this park in no way meets the Good Sam standards and should not be recommended.

Got here on a Monday and got into a pull through close to the dog park. This park is beautifully…read moremaintained, including the dog park. I wish the dog park had double entry doors so if you're at the opposite side of the dog park and another dog person comes in and your dog runs towards the gate, a double door keeps your dog safe from running out. Centrally located to great restaurants and shopping centers. So far, the only downside is there's a train that runs directly behind the park (by dog park) apx every 20 minutes, in case you're hearing sensitive. Laundromat available, located next to one of the pools. I learned while here of you put your trash in your driveway of your RV spot it gets picked up. Also, if you go to front desk you may request one bag of ice a day at no charge. Pull through is the easiest but all the spots are nice. They've decorated for Christmas so the park is lit up. Many people have dogs but didn't hear one dog bark during the night, I did hear a cat.

They had a taco truck on site for this late night munchies. Showers clean and hot. Park very clean. Sites don't have shade for the most part) Would definitely stay again. There is a third party , bee friendly shuttle service that will take you to and from festival grounds. This was convenient however our experience was waiting 1.5 hours at 2 am to come back. The resort is only about 15 min by car to the grounds, if I had known that maybe I would try to make other arrangements.

Beautiful Class A Motorcoach RV Resort. Variety of lot types available with outdoor kitchens to…read morecasitas. Wonderful mountain views with lovely sunsets and sunrises. Really loved the area nearby, everything you could want from stores and restaurants to hiking and biking trails, Joshua Tree National Park close by for day trips. There's a lot within a couple hours drive as well, LA, San Diego, even Vegas. But that's if you ever want to leave the resort! Lots to keep you busy with on site 18 hole golf course, pickleball, tennis, exercise classes, pools, spas and countless social events. Modern clubhouse and sports lounge round out the amenities. But the best part of all for us has been the people. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. Have loved every minute we've spent at Outdoor Resort Indio.

The RV park has some sites with grass and others are gravel. We were on a gravel site which wasn't that bad. Sites are decent sized, but ours didn't have much shade. Their pools are in a beautifully landscaped area with a decent sized Jacuzzi. They also have 2 firepit areas which are very nice to sit around at night. They went above and beyond to make us concert goers feel welcomed. They brought in extra shower & bathroom facilities which were very nice to use. They supplied a wonderful continental breakfast. They had a food vendor on site to cook you up a yummy $4.00 breakfast burrito and some yummy $2.00 tacos when you returned late at night after the concert. They hosted a pool party for 4 days. They were very friendly and helpful every step of the way. IW, you do it right. They aren't all about the "don't do this and don't do that", however, they embrace the fun crowd and promote a fun, safe environment. Thank you again IW for a great experience. We booked for next year before we left to come home. So we're looking forward to another Stagecoach weekend with you. We also plan on bringing our families back for a family trip very soon.

But the manager told the mother that I snitched on one of her sons that lived here at the park. I don't know her son I don't know her but other than that the mother said that I am f****** dead snitches belonging ditches. When she told me that out loud screaming at me and there were many witnesses here at the park all heard it. I went to the office and told the manager about it. And one of the front desk lady was laughing as if it was a joke. I was so upset so mad and I asked her what the hell are you laughing at someone just threatened to have me killed when I point the lady out to both of them the manager said oh that's the son that lives in 229. Oh my God she just put her foot in her big ass mouth. Why would she know that information . The beginning of the story was there was five sheriff SUV cars parked at 229. That sheriff asked me if I ever saw this person which he showed me a picture a mugshot. I told the sheriff no. I have not seen him here before because I've been here for 14 years. But you can go to the office an ask the manager , because everybody has to be registered here at the park. Tell me how in the hell I can have my name on a Hit list when I do not know this woman don't know her son but the manager does and gave information to the mother that I'm a snitch that I told her sir no I did not do it. They only snitches is ,the manager so the mother left couple weeks ago had two of her sons move into a trailer and this is the video what happened yesterday. Happy Travelers is a little piece of heaven located close to the heart of Palm Springs. It is quiet…read moreand peaceful and still close enough that you can walk to town. Great dining and shopping are so close that you do not need to drive anywhere. There is even a grocery store within walking distance. It backs up to the mountains and is situated so that you can see the sunrise and set simply by stepping outside. The pool and spa are nice and the park offers games and community events so that you can meet your neighbors.

There is a laundry room, clean restrooms with hot showers, many activities including games, pool tournaments, shuffleboard; but the best is the parties during season: Great band, drinks, and food; plus great fellow campers to create new friendships. Mgmt let us park our toad in an adjacent empty spot as you can barely park and have a sitting area both on their small spots. We will not return...
