We ordered the smoked wings as an appetizer. They had an interesting buffalo sauce on them but it wasn't exactly sticking to the chicken, more like dripping off of it. As we were eating, we noticed many of the wings were pink and undercooked. It was very unappetizing. Our server took it off the bill. My husband had the smash burger and although the patties weren't exactly smashed, he said it tasted good. I had the 12 oz ribeye with a side Caesar. The salad had a lot of dressing but it was ok. The steak had a lot of fat that I cut off, more than I am used to on a ribeye. The mushrooms on top had no flavor and were also undercooked. We decided to skip dessert after a pretty underwhelming meal. We liked the roaring 20s decor and the variety on the menu but probably wouldn't return in the future.

I have to state this because they always do this. When my order was delivered I received the Verdura and one House Salad, not my two Caesar Salads. In addition, the House Salad was on top of the hot pasta and was therefore hot as well. Furthermore, the pasta was swimming in sauce. I called the restaurant and spoke with a gentleman. I believe his name was James. I explained the errors to him. He did not apologize at all. In fact, he told me that I either did not enter the note appropriately, or it did not come through on their end. He said that he bagged up my order. He also said nothing about the salad screwups. I told him that putting cold salads on top of hot pasta is their common practice with my orders, he said nothing. I told him that I was bringing this to his attention so that they could improve this practice. Once again, no response. I said to him that not putting cold salads on top of hot pasta should be common sense. He replied with, "I'm not going to have this discussion with you. You can take it up with DoorDash. Well, I am going to take it up with DoorDash and Sauce just lost a frequent and loyal customer. If he bagged up my order he obviously did not check to ensure the order was accurate. His attitude sucked: no apology and blaming the customer. Disgraceful! P.S. No salad dressing with the House Salad.

He was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly despite our larger group. The decor was a lot of fun and really made us feel like we had stepped into Germany. It added to the overall experience and made it much more than just another dinner. We tried several different meals, including the Frankenmuth chicken, chicken schnitzel, chicken pot pie, chicken tenders, and a soft pretzel. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and overall everything tasted very good. The fried chicken was especially crispy and flavorful, and the soup and fresh bread were also excellent. The only real disappointment was the spaetzle. It had way too much butter and ended up being very greasy, which overpowered the dish. Overall, we had a great family dinner and really enjoyed the experience. Between the atmosphere, excellent service from Mitch, and the quality of the food, it's definitely a place worth visiting while you're in Frankenmuth. We'd happily come back.
