    Grilled cheese & tomato bisque
    Ashley F.

Decent food inside the Safari Park. Oasis Deli offers both inside and outside seating. The menu was slightly limited & consisted of a few sandwiches and salads, as well as soup. I got a grilled cheese with tomato soup. The soup was delicious and the grilled cheese was pretty standard, no complaints. Decent serving sizes. Service was pretty quick and the staff was friendly.

Here is the menu, a lot of good choices.

This is one of the bigger food stops at the Safari Park. I think it is the best location to get a bite, but that is because they cater to my needs here. Your best bet is a Caprese sandwich in the summertime when the luscious tomatoes are bursting with flavor and fresh basil is used instead of lettuce. They also sell vegetable wraps tabouli and citrus salad. I love it when restaurants do not consider herbivores as an afterthought! We like to eat too and appreciate a little variety. But if you are set on some meat they offer Steak, ham and turkey so bring the family, there is something here for everyone.

    $7 fruit cup

Oasis Deli can easily be missed because it's dwarfed by the Mombasa Cooker and Snack Shack next door. There are a few ready to grab options, but most everything can be made right there fresh for you as you wait. While the Oasis Deli is not as glamorous as dining at the other themed options in the park, nothing is wrong with eating a sandwich. It might be your best lighter option too. - The $7 fruit bowl (see picture) is a refreshing choice on a HOT day at the park.

Vegan BLT with side of potatoes

First off, nice place for an air-conditioned lunch. Quiet and cool setting. Friendly customer service. Super excited to find a vegan option. However, the sandwich was not very good at all. The avocado spread tastes bitter and the potatoes for the side were not cooked. They were crunchy and our daughter actually asked if they were apples.

Does anybody feel like $70 is acceptable for 3 sandwiches, 3 chips and 3 drinks is too much?. Me too, I would pass on this rip.

I did a mobile order pick up because that place seemed super busy when I went in to pick up my food. The sandwich is packed with fresh flavor and felt full from half a sandwich. Flavors and textures were a perfect blend of toast and crisp, and the veggies were still crunchy and not soggy. I tried their cookie for dessert and wow, so soft and not too sweet. This is a place I will come back to whenever I want to go out for lunch.

All the sandwiches are fully customizable as to choice of bread and accoutrements, so keep that in mind. The garlic chili oil, chipotle ranch, and chipotle mayo spreads are all house made. I had the Turkey BLT with Avocado with "The Works", on a house made roll that they make daily. "The Works" includes mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped red onions. With the one inch thick stack of fresh, thinly sliced turkey and all those other delicious ingredients, this sandwich girl's heart was in heaven. I can't even describe how fresh every single ingredient was on this sandwich. Let's just say everything had a clean taste to it and not one ingredient overpowered the other ingredients. Oh! And I got a delicious house made chocolate chip cookie with the sandwich. There are daily specials. On Fridays, they supposedly have the best London Broil roast beef French Dip sandwich, with house made Au jus that is allegedly out of this world. Might have to make two trips to Tina's this week! A hidden gem.

This is how you do it folks!…read more Been here three times and we've had different dishes every time and so far everything is delicious. Service is on point, like I said I've been here three times in probably 5 months and the crazy thing is on both return trips the guy recognized me like this is the epitome of mom & pop business right here. You feel seen and you realize the money your paying for your delicious food is going to real folks and not some corporate overlord nonsense. The vibe of the place is an industrial-esque sports bar the style that was super popular during the hipster face of restauranteering where everyone was going for the stripped down minimalist aesthetic but for this place it works. They have high seats, low seats and a couple TVs playing live sports with no real obstructions. We always come at off peak hours so I'm not sure how packed it would get but this seems like a good place to catch a PPV fight or something IF they don't pack everyone in like sardines. The food, jeez I should have probably made this the start of the review the food is decadent. EVERY dish we've tried has been packed with flavor, healthy portions, and fair prices. I recommend anything on the menu but if you want to get out of your comfort zone get the balkan fries, they're so good you won't regret it! This is the kind of place you want to see in business the people rock, the food is great, and you feel like part of the community patronizing here.

Smothered with cheese and their Balkan feta mix, it was absolutely a winner! Once again, just the very nicest family and great customer service!

So we checked Yelp for the next best thing nearby and found the "Sunny Side Kitchen". I'm not a vegetarian, but my Vegan Panini (with a pickle slice and fresh fruit cup on the side) was wonderful. That freshly baked sourdough bread sandwich was so juicy some avocado squirted out of an air hole in the bread onto my shirt. Luckily water was nearby to quickly wipe away any future stain. Recommendation: Wear a napkin on your shirt. ; ) p.s. It wasn't crowded for a Tuesday lunch; and owner Kate added great conversation and promoted neighboring "Esco Gelatto" as a good place for dessert, but we were too full. We'll save room next time.
