Over the last Twelve Years since I Retired from Forty Years as a Law Enforcement Professional I have been the Primary Care Giver for my now Ninety Year Old Sister. Now my sister has slowly deteriorated both Physically and Mentality to a point whereas changes had to be made. Julie Johnson from Crossroads has Faithfully and Professionally checked on by sister's "Well Being", what really stands out is her Compassion and Heartfelt Caring. It was time for to take action to a Location to finish out my sister's remaining years in a Safe, Healthy Environment. With the Assistance of Julie; "Mission Accomplished"! As my sister and I tried to navigate the issue of Mover's and Cleaners; I could see right through some of these Movers and Shakers as I call them! So many try to take advantage of our Elderly. Maybe this is not appropriate but I am going to do it anyways. Julie; recommended a Mover and Cleaner named Home Grown! As it turned out they handled all of the aforementioned Reasonable, Professionally and with a Caring Ethical fashion. Needless to say my sister and I were very happy that Julie made the recommendation. "HEARTFELT THANKS TO CROSSROADS AND MOSTLY JULIE JOHNSON FOR THE HELP AND GUIDANCE SHE PROVIDED SINCE 2018! Sonja at Eldercare Planning was extremely helpful in identifying assisted living options for my…read moremother in Michigan, while I lived in California. She was considerate my mother's needs (and indecisiveness on moving). Sonja educated me about what my options were in various assisted living levels, as well as what aspects in a facility I should be considering. She even helped me plan a driving route for my site visits and set up appointments. A few sites were surprised by my visit, so there is an opportunity to better confirm appointments, but I suspect that the disconnect was at a facility, not at Eldercare. Overall, for those faced with this difficult and often traumatic process, I would highly recommend contacting Crossroads for a low-pressure process, but with very knowledgeable staff!

The combination of industrial charm, elegant details, and modern touches created the most breathtaking setting for our big day. The space is incredibly versatile, allowing us to bring our vision to life effortlessly. The natural light, gorgeous furniture, and unique décor elements made for stunning photos. Plus, having multiple levels gave our guests plenty of room to mingle, dance, and enjoy the celebration! The staff, especially Hannah, was incredible to work with! Leading up to our wedding, communication via email was easy and efficient, and they were always helpful in answering our questions. Everything went smoothly for both our rehearsal and wedding day, and we felt completely taken care of. Our only small frustration was the accessibility of the office staff from the main entrance. Since their office is on the far end of the second floor, they couldn't hear us when we were dropping off or picking up décor, which led to some long waits outside, even when we had appointments. That said, this was a minor issue, and it in no way affected the actual wedding day, which was executed flawlessly! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with character, elegance, and a great team behind it, The Cheney Place is the perfect choice! We wouldn't change a thing about our wedding day and are so grateful to the team for making it unforgettable.
