"Great kennel in picturesque country setting"…read more My wife and I had our annual family vacation planned for a late August weekend to stay at the Silvercryst in Wautoma, WI. We are from Germantown, WI and the week prior to our weekend getaway we had been calling the many Milwaukee area kennels trying to find room for our Rhodesian Ridgeback and Mini Schnauzer without much luck. It seems in the summer, unless you book weeks in advanced, you will be hard pressed to find anywhere with openings for two dogs let alone one in any bigger city. On a whim I decided to email Bed and Biskit on the Thursday night before we left on Friday and Marci from Bed and Biskit promptly emailed me back Friday morning stating they had openings for the weekend. The rates were much more affordable ($15 a night) compared to the usual places we take the boys to in the Milwaukee area. My wife and I also liked that the place was out in the country and had a lot of room for my big dog to run around. After a few emails exchanged Marci from B&B agreed to meet us after hours at 7:30 on a friday night to take in our two boys. We finally got on the road on Friday around 5pm and as luck would have it our one year old daughter decided she needed to eat three times on our 3 hour drive. I knew we would not make our 7:30 drop off so I emailed the owner back asking if it would be possible to come latter and mentioned we would pay for her time if she would be willing to meet us at 8:30PM. Again she emailed back quickly and said that would be no problem and that we did not have to pay extra. We finally arrived at 8:30 in Coloma to drop off our guys. I helped get our two boys in the kennels which were very clean and spacious compared to some other we have been to in the past. Often times kennels are not always the cleanest places or have a strong scent of dog urine. Bed and Biskit was both very clean and smelled of normal dog smell with no offensive odors in the air. The kennel itself, the customer service, and the overall value were all beyond excellent and easily deserve five stars.

She was extremely professional and prepared- she came to my home masked (COVID-19) for the interview/initial set-up and was amazing! We went over pet health, where pet supplies were, what my kitty's habits/likes/dislikes are, if there were any household things like mail or plant watering that needed to be taken care of, contacts in case of emergency, etc. It took a few visits for my kitty to come out to visit with her, but she was very understanding and patient! (Maisie Cat had a very hard life before me.) Now when Elizabeth visits she meets her at the top of the stairs, purring! Elizabeth usually sends me a quick text saying everything is fine on the days she visits and when I arrive home there is a detailed sheet with all kinds of updates. There were a few days when my schedule changed last minute and I texted Elizabeth, asking if she could switch visit dates. She worked with me when she could and was very flexible!

I reviewed with the check in girl , for my dog to be fed 3 times a day, he also had printed instructions in his backpack. Plus his food has instructions printed on it. I even called on Saturday to see if they had questions. I picked him up on Sunday evening and he was returned with all of his Sunday food. they hadn't fed him since the night before... they only fed him once at night.. all of his food. They need a better or any kind of system to feed these dogs, or I have been extra unlucky twice.
