His prices are always fair and if we have to wait a little at our appointed time, oh well. You can be sure it's because he can't say no. You can always be sure of seeing the same vet every time you have an appointment. That means a lot to me and my dogs. That's not the way it works at a lot of clinics. I seriously have nothing bad to say about Dean. He goes over and above caring for animals. Dean is currently taking care of my son's dog at his own home because he will not give up trying to save the dog. That says all I need to know.

She was not eating, very, very little for days, getting so weak she hardly could walk, we had tried a medicine to improve her appetite but didn't work, they recommended another that "should" work, but didn't have at the office and had to order not knowing how long it could take, I saw that on Chewy.com I could overnight it and start right away, but they REFUSED to give me the prescription, so more days with no eating and by the time I got the med, was too late and my cat is dead. Beware of Dog Star Resort kennel. Brought our young lab for an eight day stay at the end of July,…read more2022. We had given the owner, Carol, four names of people to call in case of a problem as it was our dog's first boarding experience. When we picked our dog up eight days later we noticed he had a terrible, croup-type cough. He looked thin and seemed lethargic. The symptoms got worse over the next two days. I called our vet who wanted to see him right away. He detected a bad respiratory infection and weight loss. He put our dog on two weeks of antibiotics and cough suppressants. I called Carol, the owner, and explained what had happened. She was completely unsympathetic and took absolutely no responsibility for what happened. She said she heard my dog coughing 4 days before he was to be picked up but "didn't think it merited a call" to one of our contact people. There was no offer to pay part of the vet bill, to chip in on the medication he needed, refund a portion of the boarding bill or even to call back after a few days to check on his health. She did, however, email me a list of other kennels to go to in the area. Rude. My fully vaccinated, healthy young lab went into Dog Star Resort feeling great and came out eight days very ill. The owner could not have cared less. What kind of dog care is this? Avoid this kennel and it's owner.

If you're searching for a Whoodle raised with love, intention, and the highest standards, that's Moccasin Creek. This breeder, Wendy, is truly exceptional--responsible, compassionate, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in their care. She also answered countless questions I had-and quickly. At Moccasin Creek, breeding isn't about numbers! Oh my goodness, some breeders I found have litters constantly with a lot of parent dogs. Maybe too many? While it's nice to have photos shared, and she does,it's not splashed all over Facebook. Her parent dogs are chosen from a select group of healthy, well-tempered dogs, with the goal of raising puppies who will thrive as cherished family members that will be healthy. How do you know this? Embark results are shared so you know what health, allergies, weight,...each parent dog has. She was upfront and shared and gave us all this information. (Not just saying she had results). The puppies are nurtured and socialized from the very beginning, and treated like part of the family until the day you're lucky enough to bring one home. They receive the best possible start in life--physically, emotionally, and socially. They also have the whoodle look, the faces are sweet and almost look like a stuffed animal.
