after years of construction, oakridge park has finally opened, and it bears little resemblance to the old oakridge centre. aside from the location itself, hardly any trace of the former mall remains. in its place is a bright, airy, and unapologetically upscale retail destination that feels designed to compete with luxury shopping districts rather than traditional suburban malls. arriving can be a bit confusing, with numerous staff in brightly coloured vests directing vehicles and pedestrians through the still evolving site. despite the logistical challenges, the scale of the redevelopment is immediately apparent. the interiors are impressive, filled with natural light, soaring ceilings, and polished finishes. luxury brands dominate much of the retail mix, reinforcing the premium positioning of the project. time out market was by far the busiest area during my visit. lineups felt chaotic, crowds spilled into the aisles, and finding a table seemed almost impossible at peak times. the energy was undeniable, but so was the sense that everyone wanted to experience the newest attraction in the city at once.

I really wish I knew more about this mall before we ventured here. I heard how pretty it is, but there really is only a few pieces that were of note. We walked from Queen Elizabeth Park, mind you we started from BC Place. Yes it was our choice to walk and check out neighborhoods. With that being said, there were only a handful of upscale shops open. The food court is not the typical fast food but their version. They were all restaurant types-but their version of "fast". I never heard of a single one. I definitely would try these places had we not eaten. This was perhaps their saving grace.

It's exciting to visit the new Oakridge Park after years of redevelopment. There are many traffic guides to direct us to the parking lot. It was quite packed and we felt like we were in a maze. As we finally got in the Park, we are impressed with the architectural designs and the spaciousness. Many brand names shops are opened. It has a main sitting area in different levels and would be perfect set up for performance within the Park. The food court has a long line up to get entry today. It's the most artfully and elegantly designed shopping mall in the greater Vancouver area. Definitely worth visiting.

The Oakridge Mall has plenty of seating areas where you could enjoy people watching while having a nice lunch. The innovative design of space was indeed inspiring. Even though it was busy at noon, people were all over the place but not crowded. Security guards and hosts were pretty welcoming with smile. The selection of foods in the food court were eye opening - Italian, Chinese, Greek, Indian, bubble tea, donuts, Vietnamese pho, pizza and waygu beef! The price range were $$-$$$ suited for families and everyone actually. It would be fun to set a goal to try all of each of them every 2-3 days.

Only sign is at the entrance allowing customers 4hours of free parking.

Got a 90 dollar parking fine. Concord pacific states that their is signage posted and it is a yellow zone. I have asked for clarification but they just repeat that I parking in a restricted yellow zone.

Mall is pretty dead during the coronavirus scare. Went for a nice walk in the parkade and they've actually torn down half of it. Pretty cool looking at that giant hole in the ground. There's also a brand new food court under construction in this part of the mall I didn't even know existed. It's close to where the medical towers are. Some stores are open inside the mall but they're the minority. Hopefully this virus goes away soon.

Who even shops at Oakridge anymore? Theres nothing left! I used to come here about 10 years ago, when they actually had a variety of stores to choose from. Now its a complete ghost town, they don't even have a food court anymore. I'd honestly rather shop at ghetto Kingsgate mall! All thats remaining at Oakridge are a few crappy high end stores. What a complete waste of space.

The mall is starting to look like a ghost town as there were quite a few stores and restaurants in the food court that were gone. The mall itself is under going a major renovation in the next few years. A friend told me he wanted to pickup groceries at Safeway last week but found many of the shelves empty as they're getting prepared to move. Even Starbucks had a make shift location inside Safeway. There are several high end stores here. With the renovations, they are promoting it as 'reinventing' but it'll need more of reviving, if the stores are going to survive. Sad for those that are still there if business is slow. Tip: if you have to come to this mall by car, the entrance is off Cambie street and 41st. The skytrain station is conveniently located near the mall that's in a corridor. It's good that you avoid being outside especially if the weather is wet and cold out.

This mall is a bit sad. I know its tailor to older people and as well the things they sell are higher branded. I used to live near by and love to come here so I have seen the changes of the mall from what was kids friendly, family friendly to all age friendly to now only tailored to senior. For some reason, I feel that the mall is smaller than what it was before. My sister said its the same probably because I am bigger. Well I used to have a great time with the wishing fountain in the center of the mall and now they covered the wishing fountain and its more like a display item. No more wishing (guess they want people to be realistic)! There is a pro to this mall is the fact that its close to a skytrain. This is a plus for people who don't want to drive.

Located on the West 41st and Cambie St. This mall is easy to get to. Easy to drive to with ample parking. Easy to bus to as well. The skytrain station is right outside the door on 41st and Cambie Many retail shops to peruse through. They have a little bit of everything. There are also offices for medical services, post office, banking etc.

The mall is not particularly large but it has a decent selection of stores. There is a farmer's market/produce market as well as fish market on the side of the mall next to the public library. There is a sit down chinese restaurant as well as a decent chinese bakery. The "clientele" at this mall is shall we say "well mannered." As usual, you should google the store directory of the mall and check to see if the stores there are actually of interest to you before you decide whether or not you want to go there. Overall, it's a nice well maintained mall and if the expansion plans are to be believed this place will really be amazing in a a few years.

You MUST validate your parking at Sungiven Foods for 2-hour free parking, all other stores only validate for 1.5 hours - and I learned this the hard way. It was my first time driving to City Square, and I saw the sign in the parkade that read "Enjoy 2 hours free parking with purchase". I went to Dollarama first, and had my ticket validated there. I shopped around, and Sungiven Foods was one of my last stops before returning to my car. As I was driving out of the parkade, I was surprised that there was an overdue balance of $4.25 at the gate, even though I was in City Square for less than 2 hours (I had a timer on my phone). I called parking assistance and they sent Chandani to deal with the issue. She did not want to listen to my situation and was very rude and unhelpful. She kept insisting I pay for the ticket or go back upstairs to revalidate, and then walked away. I understand she may not have any authority to authorize anything or override the ticket, but she did not bother to listen or try to get help. I checked my timer, and saw that I was cutting it very close to 2 hours, so if I had re-parked my car and went back upstairs to revalidate, I would definitely go over the 2-hour limit. I paid the ticket and checked the website when I got home, and I understand that the City Square regulations states: -90 minutes FREE parking with a minimum $5.00 purchase from City Square retailers. -One retailer stamp per parking ticket allowed. Please bring your parking ticket along with you to the retailer for validation. I am upset because there was no indication (either on the website on signage posted in the mall or parkade) that the retailer stamp HAD to be from Sungiven Foods specifically (and be validated there first) in order to qualify for 2-hour free parking (instead of 90 min). Chandani also gave me the wrong information, and I would not have been able to re-validate at Sungiven foods anyways if I went back upstairs, as only one retailer stamp per parking ticket is allowed (as per the website). I did email the admin at City Square as well with my concerns over the signage, and asked for a possible refund. Chasity from Reception & Administration directed me to Precise Parklink in regards to the ticket refund. I didn't bother contacting Precise Parklink because on paper, I did exceed the 1.5 hour parking limit, but the reason for this is because of the misleading and unclear signage in my opinion.
