Oakley's Place Proprietor(s),
YOU took my factual review to forewarn others "PERSONALLY"? Bwahah! You pissed & moaned on Yelp because I clarified significant dangers I experienced first-hand. Fact: You carelessly sold me very toxic ill-prepared food.
You spend so-much time here, yet you obviously need help. You still don't understand the principle purpose of Yelp! Get a clue. Here come more truths, especially for you.
Organics would be justified at your price-points. At-least go non-GMO.
I take it personally that you did not emulate concerns regarding your food safety responsibilities on behalf of your public. You are a New York State Licensed restaurateur. You showed no remorse, nor intent to address faulty food preparation practices involving food-related toxins, despite liability for knowingly continuing to produce, & serve them. You publicly disregarded dangers without any indication of addressing your unsafe practices at this establishment.
Meanwhile, you have nearly $200 of my hard-earned cash! I take that very personally! I also take it personally that I would have been poisoned, if I trusted that your food was safe to consume sans vigilant inspection. I may have suffered indeterminate, potentially life-long detrimental health consequences. That qualifies as extremely personal.
As anticipated, and based upon your past irresponsible retorts to legitimate Yelps, your reply is fraught with excuses which make no sense. Interesting that you blatantly ignored my revelation regarding your toxic wings. They are carelessly tossed into your wood-fired pizza oven within aluminum take-out tins, presumably to save more time and money. You cannot possibly be mindful of customer health & safety, or you would have immediately halted this dangerous shortcut, post-haste. Unbelievable!
The correct and safe wing preparation method is quite simple. Yet you choose to cheat, knowing of potential health consequences for paying customers. Permitting employees to shortcut approved food cooking and preparation practices on your behalf is horrific! Wings should obviously be fully prepared in oven-certified bake-ware before placement in thin tin to-go containers. Large holes were burned through the tin containing the wings you sold to me. Inevitably, thin oil (not wing sauce) coated every additional container. Creeps! Unimaginable!
I clearly explained this serious culinary faux-pa in my initial Yelp!, and true-to-nature, you failed to express dismay, & showed no intention of addressing this easily-remedied issue. Your very expensive 'to-go wings' are definitely toxic due to melted tin fusion, and yet you carelessly think of review implications for your business. You incessantly ignore legit health & safety dangers for patrons. By the way, the cheap & thin hot-sauce infused oil applied to your wings is pathetic. It does not resemble, nor qualify as wing sauce. And as previously stated, your blue cheese dressing is more-salty than Ontario's Goderich mine.
Despite your denial regarding massive sodium dosing in nearly everything you serve, it remains a fact with undeniable potential of severe health consequences. Perhaps extreme salt levels is your slick trick to increase beverage revenue from unsuspecting folks. My detailed Yelp! of factoids experienced at your restaurant to the tune of nearly two C-notes clarifies extreme personal significance.
You allow your staff to burn very expensive pizza, rendering much of it inedible. Train them to monitor your wood-fired oven, & instruct them to rotate the pies out of respect for your patrons! Fire incapable individuals, and hire people with common sense. Regardless of your claims, your $20 Greek salad lacks volume, has too few tomatoes, negligible Kalamata olives, sparse feta and way too much inexpensive onion.
We wonder how y'all can sleep knowing these things about yourselves. Perhaps you find comfort by laying your head upon a pillow stuffed with customer cash. Many believe that evildoers cannot truly escape accountability, whether in this life, or the next. Perhaps it comes upon learning the answer to 'The Big Secret'. You know. The here-after. That which comes next. There has to be some brand of Almighty accountability to follow. Too many would escape a genuine accounting.
So, it wouldn't impact your cash-flow to have addressed these issues for the sake of your remaining customers. Pretty revealing as-to your priorities.
Bottom Line: Young, mature & elderly, everything we consume has good or bad consequences for our bodies over our lifetime. Anyone who values their health needs to acknowledge taste-bud signalling at first bite, which is when heavy salt, toxins and metals are detectable. Senses of taste and smell become overwhelmed rapidly. Also, we must pay close attention to every detail of the foods we are served, no-matter how hungry. Carefully examine all food before deciding whether it is safe to put inside our one-and-only bodies.
