Need a place for dinner that isn't too expensive and pours generous boozy drinks? Hit up goatie whites. Lots of locals and quality diner style food. We had a nice time eating at the bar and chatting up some new friends. The woman who served us was quick, polite, and helpful. It seems like a dive bar from the road and confounds that expectation. The place was full on a Saturday night at dinner time.

The box sits empty, stained with sugary fingerprints and smudges of chocolate, yum

Goatie White's - A Sugary Saga Worth Every Bite (and a Slightly Embarrassing Moment) Let me start by saying: if you're looking for a place where donuts are crafted with care, filled with dreams, and glazed with the tears of angels, Goatie White's is your spot. However, if you're also hoping for a smooth payment process... bring cash. More on that later. The Lineup: * Blueberry-Filled Donut: Bursting with sweet, tangy blueberry goodness. The filling wasn't overly sugary, striking a perfect balance with the soft, pillowy dough. Honestly felt like biting into a summer morning. * Lemon-Filled Donut: Zesty, bright, and the filling had actual flavor--not that weird artificial lemon vibe you get at some places. A sunshine-y bite. * Boston Cream: Oh man, this one deserves its own paragraph. The cream? So creamy. Like, dangerously creamy. The chocolate topping was rich without being too sweet, and together they created a beautiful, messy harmony. 10/10 would get cream all over my face again. * Chocolate with Sprinkles: Classic, dependable, fun. The sprinkles added the right crunch, and the chocolate wasn't waxy (thank you, donut gods). * Glazed Donut: Sometimes simplicity wins. This was light, airy, and had just the right amount of sticky sweetness. Truly a chef's kiss moment. The Vibe: Goatie White's has this small-town bakery charm--like the kind of place you'd see in a feel-good indie movie. Friendly staff, warm smells, and an atmosphere that says, "Yeah, we know our donuts slap." The Plot Twist: My card declined. Not once, but twice. Now, I'm sure it was just a connection issue (right...? RIGHT?!), but nothing humbles you faster than sheepishly fishing out crumpled cash while people behind you try not to make eye contact. Final Verdict: Would I return? Absolutely. Would I double-check my wallet beforehand? Also yes. But if a slightly awkward payment moment is the price of entry for these donuts, then take my crumpled bills and run. 5/5 donuts. Highly recommend.

Conveniently located minutes from Bellayre Mountain Ski Resort, it's a casual dining spot great for groups. Kid friendly menus and lots of dessert options. We came here on the suggestion of our B&B host. Exactly as he described - casual but good and has plenty of parking. The thing with restaurants near a ski town, know it gets pretty busy between 5pm - 7pm. The crowds let up usually around 8pm. Full bar with TV's offered here as well. Note: they don't sell pizza by the slice and there's only options for a pie. But you can choose the size, medium has 6 slices and the large has 8 slices. The friendly waitress we had answered all my questions about the menu and the portion sizes. She was very helpful in explaining things and noted my food allergy in case. The casual dining room area is well lit and fairly spread out so that you're not sitting on top of your neighbors. There was a secondary dining area by the General Store and Cashier /ice cream station but that was too close to the entrance so we lucked out sitting by the fireplace. Good eats: Broccoli and Cheddar skins as appetizers Pizza pies were delicious, great crust. Dough was soft yet crispy on the edges. Baked haddock with crabmeat stuffing, a little extra $ for the stuffing but the prices here were reasonable, so go ahead, splurge! Desserts we bought "to go" as we had after dinner plans and the selection was pretty good. The chocolate brownies were all plain chocolate (no nuts) despite the way they were decorated. So while they looked different, they were the same chocolate base. We would return if we had more time. Perhaps next year.

YALL. The doughnuts. You HAVE TO get the doughnuts. Stopped in with my boyfriend this weekend when we saw the freshly made doughnuts sign. We ordered the salted caramel and the apple cinnamon (there were other options too like pumpkin!). They were so delicious and still warm when we ate them. My only regret is not getting more, lol!! The woman who helped us was so friendly and very helpful! :)

Returned for a quick meal and this place hasn't changed a bit. Still super fresh and delicious. I ordered the shrimp basket and it was crunchy and cooked well. Really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken wings! Salads on the side complete a perfect meal. Service is great too.

Stopped here for dinner and what a surprise once you walk inside. The dining area with fireplace is separated from the ice cream side. Wait staff very pleasant & accommodating. Nice choice s on menu along with a good wine selection. Dinner arrived with the normal wait and was served on heated plates a far cry from most of the local fare around. The pizza looked fantastic too

The atmosphere immediately invites you to stay awhile: relaxed, cozy, spotless, and effortlessly trendy without trying too hard. It's the kind of place that feels both comfortable and current. The menu offered an excellent variety, making it hard to choose, but we started with the goat cheese and mushroom flatbread appetizer paired with cocktails, and it was the perfect beginning to the evening. Flavorful, balanced, and beautifully prepared. For dinner, we sampled two outstanding entrées. The wild shrimp dish was incredibly fresh, served over a vibrant mix of garden-picked greens, avocado, watermelon radish, and a flavorful kicker dressing that tied everything together perfectly. The Faroe Island salmon was equally impressive -- perfectly cooked and topped with locally picked ramp-infused butter, served over asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Every bite tasted fresh, seasonal, and thoughtfully crafted. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience with warm hospitality, a welcoming vibe, and food that truly delivers. We will definitely back for dinner and stay for the live music as well.

Made a reservation over a week prior to the date directly with the owner Joseph by FB Messenger. (I knew they were catering a party for a nearby art gallery that night, so I wanted to make sure they were available for a private rez. Owner reassured me it was fine and he would make a special rez for me on the Resy platform). So imagine my surprise when we walked in and were told by Cynthia (or was it Christina?) that we had no reservation and no tables were available either! I politely explained that I had made a rez with the owner and showed C my phone as proof. She walked into the back and disappeared for a awhile, then emerged and said the owner confirmed my reservation so she would "find me a table". No apology, acted like she was doing us a favor. We were seated at a table in a small separate area by the window that's normally reserved for people with no reservations; it was warm and uncomfortable but I was still hoping for the best. Cocktails were good but diluted with too much ice. We started with the Nonna's meatball appetizer, which was fairly tasty but served barely lukewarm with some cool spots. It arrived at our table less than 1 minute after we ordered it. (Maybe reheated in the kitchen?) My quarter chicken with carrots was a paltry portion for the price and suffered from overly aggressive use of the pepper shaker. (Note the large black flecks of pepper adorning the carrots in my picture). Partner's pasta with peas and truffles was made with with undercooked peas and lots of pepper, he couldn't finish it. Given our offhanded treatment I was hoping for a birthday treat or at least a greeting by the mysterious owner, but none were forthcoming. After the meal our server just said "happy birthday" and handed me the check. Partner's "Paloma Lisa" cocktail was listed on the menu and chalkboard at $13 but we were billed $14. Not a big difference, just an additional petty annoyance to an already unpleasant evening. We paid, tipped and left. I rarely give two star reviews, but that's about right for the birthday "non-celebration" delivered by The Print House. Maybe they were having a bad night what with the art gallery party, but there's just no excuse for lackluster food coupled with truly bad customer service. One and done.

No responses until I finally called at the moment some woman named yaako or something like that answered. She was absolutely nasty AF and completely unhelpful. I was trying to plan an event for 30 to 60 people well over 3 months in advance for a Thursday evening. She made it very clear by her s***** customer service that they are not interested in your business. This is a real shame as the place looks really nice and seems to have a great setting, but if this is the customer service I'm going to get from some quote unquote manager- forget it. There are many far better places with far better customer service within 20 minutes of this place.. Oh, and I just checked my notes, her name was Masako (?sp)... And yes she was part of the problem, but no she was not the entire problem. The entire place seems to be a problem. The people who answer the phone at the front desk seeing friendly and nice, but aren't able to do anything and they insist you have to speak with management and tell you to speak with winners like her. I have had nearly everything on the menu but the only things I can say are consistently good with confidence are the chimichanga, fajita and enchiladas. The others are imo subpar to mildly acceptable. The atmosphere isn't that great with drunk people from the bar peering at everyone at the restaurant through the bartender doorway (that has no door) like they are pissed off that people are actually eating there and giving major dirty looks. The tiny 16 year old (?) latina waitress with short hair wasn't exactly friendly and didn't really do the best job. I only had her one time. The rest of the times I was there was an older lady whom was severely miserable and a guy with glasses whom was the son of the owner whom was better at being polite than the other 2 and gave better service. The place is in serious need of a re-model as well and if you are there during the warmer months, you will see many fruit flies and experience a musty smell which they never address. This place has alot of space and so much potential but these people obviously dont feel the need to improve . They are in cruise control mode. Best part is the entree's are very reasonably priced.
