It was hot, like over 100 degrees hot. I chose the wrong season to move to Texas, but anyway, different story for a different time.
I am a lover of all things Oakley. I have owned something that has the Oakley name since I was 16. I was in Dallas for the week training and I decided to check out this store, as I needed a new backpack and I was in the market for sunglasses.
The inner store was pretty much like the other Oakley vaults, but this one seemed to be a bit more disorganized. So, I spotted the backpack that I needed and proceeded to walk to the cashier.
I was seemingly ignored by the cashier, who was a little busy flirting with whom I think to be his girlfriend or the flavor of the week. She looked at me with the pout that said: you are bothering us.
I walk up to the register and he is staring at me with a blank look and finally utters a "yeah?" I said, "I would like to pay for this, why else do you think I'm standing here?"
He glances at said girlie and they exchange glances and some sort of quip that I missed because I was livid.
Man, talk about infuriating! I paid for the backpack and left. He barely acknowledged me and mumbled something about a 30 day return period and the receipt being in the bag.
OK, I like flirting and I love women, but dude, how about doing your damn job?
