Who doesn't love libraries?!…read more This library is our favorite! It is kept clean, organized, and have a wide variety of children's books to choose from. Staff and volunteers are always helpful. As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

Not only is it location in a very busy area that would make it tough to visit if you aren't able to walk or use public transportation (parking on the street is metered & in high demand and the parking lot is beyond small), but the location itself is quite small. It feels almost like a satellite branch than an actual library. I guess it would be good for just working, but that's about it. It didn't look like it had much of a selection. Finally, I want to believe it was a one off, but the librarian who helped me was the first in over a dozen library visits who wasn't beyond friendly and helpful. She just seemed to not want to be there that day. It just capped off a disappointing trip.

Los Medanos has an EMS program which has garnered a reputation in the Bay Area over the years. My…read moreconcern is whether its instructors are adequately protecting their students from predatory companies and situations within the workplace which they might encounter in the EMS field. Are you making students aware of the long history which some companies in the prehospital care business have of failing to pay their workers, harassment, insurance fraud, elderly abuse, kickbacks, skipped lunch breaks, etc...? Are you teaching students how they might deal with these situations safely? Are you providing your students with the proper resources and assurance that there are legal avenues, whistleblower rights, and other forms of defense against abusive management and coworkers? Are you showing your students how to approach these resources, file various formal complaints, and to garner critical evidence against them? Please feel free to email me with questions, concerns, or developments in the curriculum. Thank you for your time and consideration. #ProtectEMTs #ProtectOurStudents #ProtectAmericanFamilies

The full-time professors are not experts in their fields; they are people who could not get jobs at decent colleges. The course offerings are poor, there is no campus life, and it's in the terrible, very low class dystopia called Pittsburg. A degree from here is worthless. It's a total joke of a so called learning institution and a degree from here is laughable at best.
