As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

Not only is it location in a very busy area that would make it tough to visit if you aren't able to walk or use public transportation (parking on the street is metered & in high demand and the parking lot is beyond small), but the location itself is quite small. It feels almost like a satellite branch than an actual library. I guess it would be good for just working, but that's about it. It didn't look like it had much of a selection. Finally, I want to believe it was a one off, but the librarian who helped me was the first in over a dozen library visits who wasn't beyond friendly and helpful. She just seemed to not want to be there that day. It just capped off a disappointing trip.

There are no closed door rooms for a study area. All that is in the open. That was the only thing I didn't like. The Place was very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. Come in the morning if you want to get some quiet time and work down. Anytime after 3pm school kids will be out and it gets pretty loud in the small spaces. Overall it is a good place to visit and rent books and movies. Also I love the new updated version of self checkout. Plus in case you get hungry it's a taco spot right in the same building. Haven't tried the taco spot yet though.

The full-time professors are not experts in their fields; they are people who could not get jobs at decent colleges. The course offerings are poor, there is no campus life, and it's in the terrible, very low class dystopia called Pittsburg. A degree from here is worthless. Very nice, helpful, engaging staff. Free wifi(no password required) and several computers available for use, plus printers (10¢/page printed). Access to books, video, audio, and magazines from the entire Solano County library system. Books/Audi/video Can even be searched for and reserved, online from your home. Lots of books for sale Very Cheap (like 50¢) through "Friends of the Library". I only wish they were open Sundays, too!! (..and maybe longer hours ;-)
