I drove to Oakberry after an Instagram promotion promising free Açaí and I've been hooked since. I've tried a variety of Açaí bowls before but none of them are as generously portioned or as sweet as the ones offered at Century City Oakberry. This is my go-to post-workout smoothie, as they offer a multitude of high-protein options (Whey, vegan, etc.) and other options with biohacking properties like collagen or chia seeds. I've been bringing my friend too and he echos similar sentiments. Matt has been particularly helpful in serving us. He is brisk and informative about the strengths, both health-wise and taste-wise, of different available toppings. He convinced me on a variety of occasions to purchase extras that I never even considered before, and they're now a regular part of my order. Last night, William and Justin were also amicable and echoed similar efficiency. Oakberry blows the competition out of the water. I've been a consistent patron for the better half of December, and I hope that the service, flavor, and vast variety of toppings continue to impress me throughout 2026. read more

I had been looking forward to trying this place. I had seen multiple locations in LA, so figured it must be doing something right to be this prevalent. Welp, I'm still trying to figure out what they are doing that is right, because my Acai bowl was so wrong. I actually came here twice. The first time I was told they were having problems with their machine. I came back the next day and it was fixed. I found the menu to be a bit overwhelming, so I went with a basic Acai bowl (which is actually a cup) and pretty much instantaneously regretted coming here. The Acai mixture in my opinion is too sweet. I want to taste the acai- not be overwhelmed with sugar. It was gross. Next, I found the granola on the cup to be very unsatisfying. It just wasn't good at all. I know someone else mentioned a rancid taste. While I don't think mine was rancid, at first I kind of got that taste, but decided, it was just a lackluster granola. I felt the peanut butter was skimped on. It's like they smeared it to coat the inside of the cup to give the illusion of a peanut butter layer, but when I got to it, there was barely any. The fruit on top was so little- the variety I ordered only had banana. There's wasn't anything I could see that also had PB and granola...those ingredients are pretty standard everywhere else, but here you would have to pay extra. I came into Oakberry excited to get an açai peanut butter smoothie. The woman helping me was so sweet and really attentive. Unfortunately, the smoothie came out extremely liquidy, more like juice, which was surprising because it had peanut butter in it. She explained it was because of the milk, but I didn't knowingly add milk. I thought choosing a milk was required. She tried to fix it by adding more frozen açai, but it still ended up completely undrinkable. When I asked if we could just redo it, a very young male employee suddenly came over and shut the whole thing down. He told her she wasn't allowed to remake it and then told me it was basically my fault because "there's milk in there." His attitude was so defensive and unnecessary. I was being extremely nice the entire time, and even the girl helping me agreed I wasn't being rude at all. I explained that I simply like my smoothies to be an actual smoothie, not a juice. For fifteen dollars, I think that's fair. He told me "What's the difference, you get the nutrients anyway," which was wild to hear from someone working in a smoothie shop. His solution was for me to buy another smoothie or refund the first one and then buy a new one again so it shows "in their system." None of that made sense and definitely shouldn't have been my problem. In the end, I just took the refund and left the drink there. The girl helping me kept apologizing because she knew it didn't have to turn into such an uncomfortable situation. I don't usually leave reviews like this, but the lack of basic customer service from him was honestly shocking. The store has potential and some great staff, but proper training is definitely needed. No one should be treated like that over a simple smoothie remake. When I asked for the boys name, he said it was Joseph, but to be honest, he could also be lying to me. Ordered the Fruity Bowl with half acai and half matcha. The serving size was decent, and I like that it is served more in the fashion of a smoothie than a bowl. My biggest gripe is that I actually don't think the acai, matcha, and passionfruit flavors go together--and you really need a spoon to be able to get the passionfruit and oats layer since it is rather heavy. I love this place for their acai "bowls" but I don't like their smoothies, it's too watery and just tastes like juice. This being said if you go for the bowl you get to pick unlimited toppings and it's incredibly good especially when it's a hot day or if you want a "healthier" sweet treat! I love how they layer it to make it look appetizing too. No designated seating, but there is seating in the general surrounding area of the mall. Sometimes it is hard to eat in that tiny cup they put it in and toppings will fall out so maybe transitioning to actual bowls would be my only suggestion, although this is a chain so highly unlikely that they'll change it. Soup! I ordered online for pickup and arrived about 10min after my pickup time. Both of the 16oz originals were in a sealed bag so I didn't see them at the store. Very disappointing experience at Oakberry Mítikah in Mexico City. I placed an Uber Eats order around 9:00 a.m., but when the delivery person arrived, the store was open with no staff present. There was only a handwritten sign saying "we'll be back in 15 minutes." After 45 minutes, no one returned, and Uber Eats assigned three different delivery drivers to the order. This açai came in a huge serving and was super delicious! Located in the Westfield century city mall, this açaí place was definitely a hidden gem. I got the crunchy açai bowl and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've never had cacao nibs and wasn't expecting that, but it added extra crunchiness and texture to the bowl. I think it was fairly reasonably priced ~$14 for what you get. Service was very quick, I came earlier in the morning and there was one employee taking orders and making the bowls but she was very efficient! The actual store itself is more of a grab and go with no tables inside, but there are plenty of sitting areas and tables around the mall. Oakberry is a nice spot in the Century City mall for a sweet treat, located on the second floor near CPK and The Container Store. We tried the Classic (12oz) with granola, almond butter, strawberry, banana, and cacao nibs. The presentation was beautiful, with the layers making it visually appealing, but it also made it tricky to get all the flavors in one bite. The açaí itself was delicious, but for the price, it didn't feel worth it. We've had other açaí bowls in the SFV that offer larger portions at a lower cost. Came in on 4/18 on a Saturday night and placed an order for pickup around 8:30 PM. As soon as I arrived, there was a sign saying that they were on a "15 minute break," with the door locked, but that break extended past 9:00 PM. I was waiting outside during this "break" with the employee just staring at me through the window. After they finally unlocked the door, a group of people had shown up with two girls claiming they were employees off of the clock, further saying that, "We're not currently on the clock, but we're employees here and we're closed." I was extremely confused because the hours online said the establishment closed at 9:30, and now I had been waiting for about an hour for an order I placed ahead of time. I got into the shop and showed the guy at the counter my order on my phone and after he scrolled through my screen, he quickly just grabbed my order out of the fridge and handed it to me. The service here was terrible and I did not feel appreciated as a customer. I was put off guard especially by the unprofessionalism from alleged workers who were off of the clock and the guy at the counter. I thought it was only in Brazil where I'd come across the Oakberry name, but here it is in California! This location that is at the Century City mall is small, but it is clean and the guy who was working the day my friend and I visited was friendly and provided great customer service. I had my açaí in a bowl (which was really a cup the 16 oz. size in which they call 'The Works'). Toppings options are endless here - you can get whatever you want, as many different toppings you want. I had granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, honey, cacao nibs, coconut flakes... I think that was it even though I would have totally added other things like peanut butter, chia seeds, and goji berries. I wasn't sure how much would be too much. I think the best way I found was to mix everything in the bowl before eating. I ordered whey protein added to the bowl and it's added in powder, so it's much better to mix it before eating. I am admittedly on an Acai Bowl kick right now. So when I saw that Oakberry was opening in the Century City Mall and that there was a Yelp event available, I knew I had to take the opportunity to go and try it out! Oakberry is on the second floor of the mall right next to CPK. They offer options between bowls and smoothies, and you are able to select a size within each category. I went with a Classic Bowl, and chose to make my own bowl where I selected from the unlimited topping options strawberries, blueberries, and almonds. From the "limit to 3" options, I chose honey and chia seeds. Suffice to say, I loved it, but not just because of the fact that I chose my own toppings. The fruits were very fresh, and the acai was smooth and refreshing, and actually had a hint of banana flavor (I think), which I personally enjoyed. The staff members were quick and efficient, and very friendly. Despite there only being 2, they made sure to greet every guest walking in and made each order with extreme care to maintain perfect presentation. Because of this fact, I will be sure to come back! I'm currently unemployed, but after going here, I'm now unemployed and in need of therapy. The service was fine and while the acai is presented pleasantly (in a cup, not a bowl), the taste is disappointing. It's like some prepackaged, artificially sweetened sludge with acai in it. That might sound normal to some, but if you've had good acai, you'll know that doesn't always have to be the case. My big issue with the cup is that although it looks nice, it's really just a way for them to not have to top it with as many fruits and instead fill up the bowl with more of their mediocre acai. read more

This berry superfood is known to be good for health in many ways from digestion to high antioxidants. So...why not put in as a main smoothie! Oak Berry does extremely well with this.
