I'm so glad I visited PLEX for the first time earlier this week. I stopped in for a personal…read moretraining session (very reasonably priced IMO) and was very pleased. I have been lifting weights for close to two years now, but have struggled mentally with adding weight to my leg days because of a previous ankle injury. While the injury is completely healed and I've been thru PT, I find myself constantly worrying about my form and aggravating the injury by adding weight. After speaking to my nutritionist about my apprehension, she suggested going to PLEX to have them set me straight and provide me with guidance. I was easily able to schedule over the phone for a Tuesday morning session. The trainer I worked with was very knowledgeable and welcoming. He gave me a quick tour of the facility and explained that all kinds of people work out at the gym. When I walked into the actual gym, my first thought was that I never in a million years would have stepped foot into this type of place a couple years ago...but I quickly reminded myself how crazy I was to think this - because everyone was so nice and warm. For the next hour, my trainer led me thru a whole circuit of light weights, bands, sprints, ropes, abs, etc. and while I was breathing heavier, had an elevated heart rate and dripping with sweat - I was loving every minute of it! He had me complete a lot of challenging agility drills and that really pushed my limits with my ankle, but it was a lot of fun. While this gym is a little out of the way than my usual place, I can definitely see myself making visits part of my routine to change things up and continue to strengthen my ankle. I'm really interested in trying a class sometime soon. I definitely recommend PLEX, regardless of your fitness level or knowledge.

I came in with a lot of pain…read moresurrounding my knee area (from a previous meniscus tear surgery in Jan'24) and along my right side from my hip area down below my knee. Surprisingly, I was amazed walking out feeling that pain melting away. I haven't felt this much stress relief in quite a while (7+ months). I should have come here right after my surgery as a part of my physical therapy. Nevertheless, you live and learn, right... I do highly recommend this place to anyone experiencing joint/muscle pain and come here immediately after surgery for physical therapy. In my experience, God has definitely blessed these people with healing hands for certain .
