Over a…read moreperiod of time it got worse and I finally went to a specialist, since it was painful to walk and my legs began to get numb after standing for a few minutes. After surgery to fuse L4 and L5 my surgeon recommended Bellaire Physical Therapy as one of the choices to help me back to health. When I entered their offices on the first visit I was wearing a heavy back brace and had to use a walker to move my feet. After a few months of physical therapy I no longer use a walker, or even a cane, to walk, I can rise from a sitting position on a chair without assistance, and am well on my way to feeling as if I am normal after ten years. The front desk has always been courteous and helpful, and the therapists have sometimes made me push my limits but never asked me to do more than I can do. I just love those guys and thank them for helping me to restore my life. Alfred Hobbs

I find their front desk staff to be very kind and helpful, Most recently there appears to be new hires, but they are very professional and cautious; I find it sad that they are referred to as disorganized as I have only experienced first class service from everyone! there is extensive seniority among the staff and they are always friendly as well. I would highly recommend Bellaire Physical therapy to anyone who wants to recover from any surgery, especially knee, neck and back pain, balance issues, etc. I have been a patient of M D Anderson for almost 15 years and they come recommended by MD Anderson. I was sent back to Physical therapy after experiencing a bad fall with multiple injuries, and I am relieved they are there to help me. Most notable experience was using dry needling and the Neubie / Neufit machine. The needling helped relax and stimulate his high tension areas. The Neubie was the coolest part. It has stimulator patches that send electrical pulses to help calm the tension. She did a full body evaluation, found different points of diss alignment, and advised small changes to everyday posture (like different position while driving the car). She recommended a pillow and at home muscle stimulator which are both extremely reasonable in price. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend this center - the machines and therapists are top of the line.

I saw Dr. Sierra and Valencia while there, and I can't sing their praises enough! Their work, education and support have changed my life. Because of them, I can move freely again- something I realized I hadn't been doing for YEARS. They taught me the correct body mechanics and made me feel amazing. I have now joined a gym and am working out with confidence. However, what has really been life changing is that before I worked with them, I didn't think I would be able to keep up with a baby and had put off pregnancy. Dr. Sierra and Valencia helped me strengthen and correct my body so well that I am now on a pregnancy journey! I am now seeing Dr. Najah for pelvic floor therapy (also at Sterling!) who has already taught me so much in 2 sessions. I love going to PT, and have so much fun laughing with the girls. They play good music and make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. It's a relaxing, happy environment. Desiree at the front desk is also a gem- always happy to help and smiling. She and everyone at this location have made me feel so cared for. I have worked in rehab facilities in the past as a speech therapist, and know how monotonous and dreary they can be. I am thrilled with the help and support I've received there from Chris B. I noticed improvement after just the first visit and it has continued with each subsequent visit. I wish I had pursued physical therapy months ago! So far I've not had any problems with billing or the front desk staff as some other reviewers have reported, so perhaps they've changed out those personnel. The front desk staff have been efficient and courteous. I recommend this facility.

He was a very good guy and I enjoyed working with him. His supervisor was not very warm or friendly. I'm glad my interactions with him were minimal. The front office staff were friendly enough. However after my treatment ended, I was sent a bill saying I had missed three payments. Since I paid after each and every visit and had evidence to support that, I knew that was total nonsense. I received a lot of resistance from them and I got messages threatening collection agencies and possible legal action for less than $100.00. I finally just ignored them and they went away. I say, "Stay away from Action PT." By the way, this was my second and final such experience with them over a similar issue.

The ambiance of the waiting room is very calming and I love their decor. They have soft spa music playing and a tea station. One of the staff members took me into a room to do a few intake tests. I changed into a gown and she provided privacy while I did so. She tested my back with these probes to see where I had inflammation and did a stress response test. Then I was taken to another exam room to see Dr. Burk. She is very energetic and explains things well in detail. She asked me a few background questions first about my medical history, any past injuries and previous chiropractic history. I showed her a few reports of prior imaging that I've had done before. After that we did my adjustments and she explained along the way what she saw and what the treatment was that she was doing. She accommodated my belly with a special pillow so that I could lie flat face down for my back adjustment and protect baby. She used a certain equipment that let her adjust my spine without putting that much pressure. My primary reason for coming was to have better hip alignment to prepare me for delivery in a few months. Overall I really enjoyed my first visit here. I'll have to see how my body adjustments do to say how often I will come. They do not take insurance, so everything is self-pay but it was worth it. The first exam is always going to be the most expensive and the subsequent visits will be a little cheaper. They do offer prenatal massages here as well, but IMO a little too pricey.

This WORKS. I've been seeing Wilson for a couple of years now on my travels, and I can tell you that no one has ever helped me quite the way he does. He has devised an acupressure technique that gets right in and helps, and is like nothing I've ever encountered in my vast and constant search for good treatments of my hard-working back. His intuition is unparalleled, and his skill is like that of a brilliant mechanic of the human body. This is not a feel-good massage or a physical therapy appointment - it is unique. It is hard work, which is probably why I've never found anything that compares - Wilson spares no effort and generously gives a constant level of pressure and energy where it is needed, and tirelessly works on knots and circulation issues. While it often hurts or is tender during the treatment, it is indeed good pain. It feels like a good stretch on the inside of your body, between your vertebrae, in your facia, tendons, joints. After the treatment, the pain disappears, the body feels tuned-up, and energy flows again. Wilson's new office is perfect - simple, no-frills, quiet, and easy access. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I almost wish I lived in Houston just to see him on a regular basis and be pain-free! For those of you that do, I cannot recommend his treatment highly enough.
