I push myself at home and want to progress. I had the unfortunate occurrence of being 10 minutes late. The receptionist made me feel shamed. Then proceeded to tell me she would "check" with the therapist to see if he would accept me. He refused! Was I not his patient for that hour? I am scheduled for therapy until end of March.I will bring a note from home to excuse me for being late..... I will take my business and $$$$ elsewhere.

I had a…read morecomplete knee replacement on October 23, 2020, and started therapy with Dr. Vines around November 1, 2020. I was using a walker and could barely get around. After working with Dr. Vines I switched to a cane for only a few weeks and then started walking without any aide. He is determined to get you back to normal and really enjoys his job. I was having a lot of pain until Dr. Vine started working with me at his facility and gave me exercises to do at home. My pain went away quickly. Dr. Vines always asks how your pain level is and if you have any issues or questions. He kept my doctor up to date on my recovery. Ginger is the wonderful administrator you will talk to about your appointments and insurance approval. She is a bright and sunny person that loves working with people. She keeps up with your insurance for you and makes sure all your appointments are scheduled at your convenience. Everything is so clean and they keep it sanitized all the time. They have up to date equipment and make it fun to work out. You will get a great work out every visit. I recovered so fast that all my friends and family were impressed. Thanks Dr. Vines and Ginger. Once inside, you'll meet Will, Madonna, several other PTs and OTs. In the eligibility process you'll meet Dana for physical therapy and someone for Occupational Therapy. Since there are a limited number of Occupational Therapists. These appointments may be pushed back until one comes available. You may request the same Physical Therapist in the eligibility process, but it is not a guarantee you'll have her. As her schedule is booked. Madonna, is an outstanding Physical Therapist. She is friendly, helpful, and confident in aiding my father with his mobility. I'm so glad, she never gives up on him and holds him accountable for not completing his exercises. She also is great in notifying us when she won't be in the clinic. Will, is kind and cares about his staff, the patient, and the patient family. He is always ensuring if we need a chair, water, and support. As he is always there to assist. I like Will. When you arrive in the clinic you'll notice the lobby is filled with art of boats and light blue chairs facing every direction. On the wall is a pretty good sized television mounted to the wall and several therapists walking around. Previously, I did not know there was a Memorial TIRR in my area. This location is fairly new. As I remember, at the time there was only one TIRR. It was the one I went to in the medical center. I used walk to TIRR from the zoo parking lot to gain observation hours.

They only slot you for one hour; after blood pressure and computer time, you only get about 30 min of actual therapy... Both my wife and I have been patients of Hope Rehab. I twisted a knee that did not require surgery…read more(couple of years ago). She had a broken ankle that required surgery (ongoing). Rob and his team of therapists did an excellent job of getting both of us back on track and better. My therapy lasted a few weeks and ended about 18 months ago. My wife's therapy just started and is ongoing. The front office staff communicates well and the PT staff does an excellent job with the balance of pushing you to do well during your therapy but not so far that you feel like you've gone too far. Bottom line - An easy five-star review. I highly recommend them if you ever need physical therapy.

Me and my SO have both worked with the therapists here. My first experience two years ago was…read moreexcellent; their attention to my needs was spot on and the therapist I worked with, Amanda, was knowledgable and friendly. However, when my SO needs to have therapy, we started with Amanda again and discovered two weeks in that she took another job and was no longer there. No one promoted us or prepared us for working with someone new. For three weeks she was passed around to whomever was on shift when her appointment was scheduled, which caused confusion about her progress and treatment plan. At one point they had her try their new cryo machine and asked her how it felt. When she said she couldn't tell a difference, they explained that one treatment wasn't enough and tried to sell us on a monthly plan of $80/month for using the cryo machine as additional treatment out of pocket because insurance wouldn't cover it. We finally became so frustrated that we found her a new physical therapist at Hope Physical Therapy off of I-45. They were much more organized and gave her consistent attention so that we saw progressive improvement throughout her treatment. Within the same amount of time with Hope that she had spent with Valeo, she was far ahead in her progress that she finished sooner than Valeo said she would with them. Hope PT got her back into shape much faster! Unless you need someone close by, skip Valeo and talk with Hope Physical Therapy instead. You'll be glad you did.
