From what I can tell Westminster shares the field with Marina High School and both teams play football on the football field with a football. I also know that one of the rules in high school football is that you must wear a cup. Now this ain't no Dixie cup and this ain't no coffee mug and most of all you certainly don't want to be drinking out of it. But it is a rule and it must be worn at all times. My wife said that all high school football games cost the same but I personally thought it was very expensive getting in here tonight. $19.00 for two adults and a small child. Bottom line is this is the best high school football stadium I've been to in a long time. It's a lot like Huntington Beach High School but instead of looking at the back half of school busses and street sweepers you get to watch the 405 freeway zipping by through the trees.

We change textbooks every month for some reason and the academics and scores are terribly low. The students there also steal and I lost over 2,000 dollars over my past three years there. I was also bullied a lot as a 6th grader and I greatly suggest you pick a whole other district!

Saved me time and $ to help pursue higher (under)graduate studies sooner and more productively. - Never realized how much the workout cage resembled a prison yard. - No pickleball courts. Qué lástima. - The literature teachers weren't good at teaching logical students how to excel in the arts. + The sciences teachers were excellent at teaching us the sciences and maths. Glad they were passionate about their fields too. - Their dance club organization was poorly executed. For every assembly performance, you were required to show up to practice 4am the day of or else you wouldn't be allowed to participate, even if you had been loyally attending all weekly practices prior. Since their 2025 remodeling, nothing's recognizable to us old alumni anymore. Fresh new grounds and buildings. Revitalized look.

Smacked her daughter so loud you could hear it with all the noise inside. I watched as the daughter was about to eat a sample only to be smacked! The daughter just looked straight ahead and took the verbal lashing her mom gave her. A teenage boy soon arrived to say only a few words only to be loudly scolded by the narcissistic mom, boy looked down in silence. I am familiar with those behaviors, looking down as it's a familiar feeling by my own mother. Neither child said a word. Why? Because they are used to being berated and if you even dare attempt to defend yourself, well be ready to be beat or unjustly accused of attitude for speaking up. Dear mom, I can only imagine who you treat your child in private if you so boldly assault your child in public. Seeing your face with that heavy eyeliner and trashy fake lashes brings back unpleasant memories of my own mother. Your behavior represents that high school simply by wearing it. DO BETTER.

There are rules but the people that enforce them care about you as a human individual and don't hate you like every other school I've been to. Even the scummiest classmates are treated like individuals it's unbelievable. My only problem with the school is that every bathroom is locked shut because of a vaping epidemic, but that didn't stop anything and now every student had to walk a mile to the big crowded bathroom near the cafeteria. Also Mrs. White, she is so twisted and evil! One time she ripped up my written essay just because she thought it would be funny! She has also pushed me down a flight of stairs. Good school.

The school itself is not bad. My experience was heavily impacted by one teacher, Andy Ho. He shows…read moreclear favoritism toward certain students while dismissing or ignoring others. Interactions often feel extremely unprofessional, with excessive gossip and behavior that make students uncomfortable. He comes off as passive aggressive often and will make inappropriate remarks about students to their faces as a "joke". If he doesn't take a liking to you for some apparent reason, he will go out of his way to show it. There has also been incidents where he is insulting students appearances to other students. Rather than treating students fairly and respectfully, he seems to prioritize a select few, creating an unfair classroom environment. In his class, he hardly teaches leaving students without instruction and support they are meant to receive. His demeanor is just plain rude and unprofessional and disappointing as someone who is meant to teach young people. As he is someone who represents the school, I found his behavior towards students extremely repulsive and miserable. This has significantly affected my overall impression, and experience of the school. I strongly believe that school administrators should reevaluate his role as a teacher here at Vista View if they want students to feel welcomed.

It was, to say the least, terrifying to practice our backwards marching on a bumpy grass ground, as opposed to the smooth concrete floors that we should have had made available during this warm up. It's almost as if we were set up to fail, or that they were doing everything they could to encourage us to earn a low score. I truly do understand this effort, as I know that our school does pose as a threat towards others wishing to earn the title of first place. Next, to assess this schools environment, we will look to the overall vibe conveyed. I and other performers agree that a "fall feeling" was in the air. Nice trees, fallen leaves, and a peaceful area around our unloading and bus area. The halls were nice, and, to summarize, you could say we were grateful for the richness of this school, but also for the lack of money to make this one of those huge schools you could get lost in. Congratulations to Bolsa Grande HS for earning these four stars. -Marching Band Pro Performers
