Couple minutes later, I receive a rude voicemail on my cell from the front desk saying that check out time is 11AM. My last stay I was given a room and when I walked in there was a dude sitting at the computer working...I slowly backed out and let the door close. He never even saw me. The lady at the desk was new and apologetic...they use some antiquated filing system in a Tupperware box to see what rooms are occupied and there was a mixup. She upgraded me to a suite for my troubles. Which was just an average suite nothing special. The rooms have always seemed "damp" or humid here. Don't know how else to explain it. Overall just ok. Will probably stay again.

Our first room had a malfunctioning toilet, forcing us to operate on the "if it's yellow let it mellow..." principle in order to get a flush. No refrigerator in the room even though all rooms should have them. We were moved to another room with a poor performing AC. Then we were moved to another room - dated, short on towels but cool and the toilet works. The only redeeming factor in this stay is the owners (or maybe they are long-term managers) of this location are nice and accommodating. Bless them. This property needs work, but it feels like this is a franchise problem more than a single location problem. (Note: There is a washer and dryer available for guest use for a nominal fee.)

It was slow at first when we got there, but it picked up later with a bunch of people. The clientele was real laid-back and not obnoxious. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The towels are tiny. The shampoo was tiny and half full, they did not replace it the 4 days we were there. The tub has a weird curve to it making it impossible to stand flat footed to take a shower. The breakfast was unappetizing. There was no protein. The orange juice tasted like a skunk sprayed it. The apple juice tasted watered down. The fridge barely worked. I pulled a drink out that had been in it all night and part of the previous evening and it was barely colder than room temperature. The staff left the curtain open after they cleaned the room exposing all of our things to the outside world. Worst of all was the lack of customer service. There was an issue with our check out date and instead of trying to contact us or provide any kind of human decency, they locked us out and blackmailed us to get our possessions back. Then they tried to get us to pay for the extra night, at a more expensive rate of course. I will NEVER use this establishment again. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.
