Stayed here with my wife, two kids and my in-laws. It looks nice but it has several bad qualities. You can hear the music from across the street and down the block. That should never happen. You make us sign a quite waiver, but my kids can't go to sleep because of the music not even at the hotel. Who puts wallpaper is the bathroom? It is the worst idea ever. The fruit in the lobby looked like it had been there for weeks. Finally everyone else we r with has a sleep number bed, except us. When we called down, they said they would send someone up to show us where the control are, then 20 minutes later the front desk called up and said ours was the only room in the hotel that does not have them because they are getting rid of them. That is just bad service. So upon more research, they were sleep number beds, the cheap hotel just did not want to pay for the inflation deflation unit. That is sad. Now you are cheap and a liar. Plus the one bed had a stain that could only be feces on the side of the bed. Gross, this will be my last time staying here and my last time coming to Moline.

at june last year (2014), have had trouble to book for the complete time, 5 Hotels in the Surroundings were as fully booked, but at the end, i've got an additional stay. Nice Place and nice Environment. Have had a good stay. Clean and great rooms. Top Service and a good offer at the breakfest buffet. Short ways to some Bars and Restaurants and also, close to the Hotel, the John Deere Pavillion.

We basically stopped for a pit stop and to stretch our legs (and soak in the hot tub while the kiddos swimmed). Location - Great spot close to the river. There are a couple restaurants and shops close by and within walking distance and you are also very close to the Vibrant Arena and Rock Island. Rooms & Building - My family enjoys Stoney Creek for their upnorth theming and feel. The rooms are always done up nice and are usually pretty large in size. This place did not disappoint. The room came with a fridge, microwave, and a small little bar area. Lots of space to spread out and eat pizza in our room for dinner. Amenities - The pool area is always fun at Stoney Creek. This location had a indoor/outdoor connected pool and the hot tub was large and could fit plenty of people. It was exactly what we wanted in our stay. Food - There is a bar onsite but we made our own drinks and ate pizza. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a lot of cold and hot options. Vibe - Easy going and super friendly staff. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - As stated before, if there is a Stoney Creek in the town we are staying at, we probably will stay there. For the price vs. quality & experience, you can't find much better. We would stay again!

The girl that charged us wrong said it was fees for something else and not it was not. She was trying to charge us extra $50 for something we did not asked or even have. The sofa bed was dirty and smelled awful. We had kids with us and we took them swimming and I have never felt so dirty in my life. The pool was so cloudy, there were bugs all over that pool thankfully they were dead but clearly no one cleaning that place at all. The bathroom near the pool smelled moldy it was really uncomfortable to stay there. Bring water shoes the concrete in and out of the pool is so cracked you are stepping on chunks of concrete all over. The communication between the staff is zero to none we had to be reimbursed for being charged at the wrong card, and then we were overcharged, then finally charged at the right account after 20 min of trying to fix something that could have been avoided if they just communicated with each other. The only good thing from this place was the girl in the kitchen the next morning she was real sweet and nice, very helpful. It's was our first time stopping in the area well we know never to make that mistake again. Definitely don't recommend unless is a last resource.

Overall, we had a nice 6-day, 6-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and…read morewelcoming throughout our visit. The complimentary continental breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices each morning. There was also lots of seating, making it easy to enjoy breakfast without feeling crowded. The bed was firm, but still comfortable enough. The pillows were just okay--I think they could use replacing because they didn't provide enough support. The walk-in shower was an interesting design, with only a partial wall and no curtain or shower door. Unfortunately, the floor became very slippery when wet, and I felt like I could easily fall. Adding non-slip strips would make it much safer. There was only one grab bar, and it was on the opposite side of the shower, so I didn't feel very secure. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping service. We requested room service every other day and even spoke with the front desk and called to follow up. Despite that, soap and shampoo were not refilled, toilet paper was not restocked, and the room was neither dusted nor vacuumed. The only consistent service was replacing the towels. When I asked the housekeeper if she had vacuumed the room, she simply replied, "No." We ended up vacuuming the room ourselves. I would have given this hotel a higher rating if the housekeeping had matched the quality of the staff and the rest of the hotel.

For instance when my flights have been delayed they were still able to send a shuttle for me. Granted, the hotel is only 200 yards away, but hauling luggage at midnight through a parking for a senior lady is not safe. Oh, take a taxi or Uber? They don't have them there at the airport. I can stay till daylight when they can send a shuttle but I will be the only living soul at the airport until then. So spoke to someone who said they couldn't accommodate me and was not helpful today.

The machine variety Is nice, but but Iowa state alcohol laws put damper on the mood. Obviously not the casinos fault. The sportsbook is a basic as they come and your better off downloading the Caesar's betting app and going to a sports bar. They don't have sports package for their TVs so you're just watching basic local cable. But I will say that the casino staff is really nice and helpful and even they seem disappointed with the lack of options here. Issabel (not sure if I spelled that correctl) at the sports book ticket counter was very helpful and went out of her way to find out answers to my questions. The night casino staff was not so helpful. Another positive note the price of food is extremely reasonable. I got a 2 decent size sandwiches for under $20, which is unheard of at a Casino in 2026.

A person would think they would have more available on the property itself. The idea is to keep people at the casino and playing. We go off property for lunch also. I don't know maybe a person needs to bring food along like packing for a picknick? ‍We bought two cups of black coffee at $3.50 each and the coffee was barely warm. Many of themed slots they had for years that we did like to play are gone. We have fewer for choices, that's for sure. At least they have kept some of the older slots which is a plus. We had some problems with our room. Our mattress at home is a newer firm mattress. The mattress here appeared to be a newer one and it wasn't firm....it was outright HARD. Just about like laying on a piece of plywood, well almost. My wife could only sleep on it about 3-4 hours and then slept on the couch. That wasn't much more comfortable. Maybe they got some deal on them when they replaced a number of them at once or something? If that's what happened we don't think it was a very good deal. And this is from people such as us that prefer a firm mattress so, IDK. Some problem with HVAC. If you get the temp about correct for the front room the bedroom is very cold. Confusing thermostat, no selection if it's set for heat or A/C. Just arrows up and down for temp. I've never seen a thermostat like that anywhere that I've ever stayed before, not ever. We tried to call down and get a blanket from housekeeping or the front desk but when you press the buttons on the phone for housekeeping or front desk they are "busied out". They just go to a busy signal and that's it. Bad enough if just staying for one night, but more than one night, not good. Seemed like to us that some taking are of the customer is in need.
