(Make sure to check the days and hours as they are not on a full schedule yet.) The first thing I want to recognize is what a fabulous job they have done making this an elegant and unique experience. The photos don't do the ambiance justice. From the cigar room, private wine cellars, wine tasting room that can host parties, along with the lovely dining area and spacious patio bar to the exclusive members only room that we were able to peek into since it was still in the completion phase. There were little touches throughout the restaurant that set it apart as a next level experience. I had the Nolan Ryan burger which was tasty and I really liked the crispy fries which were seasoned perfectly. My friend had the Shrimp Scampi Linguini and said it was delicious. I am looking forward to visiting E&V again once they are in full swing!

However, the deviled eggs were mediocre, spiced bacon was skimpy. There are a thousand places to get a decent cut of bacon here in TX. The empanadas needed seasoning and a sauce. Folks enjoyed the pasta and steak. A neighbor had the pork chop which is humongous and she said it was great. Our drinks were very slow to arrive but they were very well done. We had the smoked old fashioned, margarita and lemon drop. Tasty! There is an issue with stocking the wine. We ordered a bottle of Veuve, Whispering Angle Rose...All on the menu but out of stock. We are Vine drinkers so I stayed with water. After dinner we went to the cigar lounge. They had an awesome band. We enjoyed the music while having dinner in the lounge. If they can keep the ambience like tonight, this is a great find. Unfortunately, there is always a "Chad", We had an issue with the red wine. It came from the bar which is outside at over 90 degrees. The Cabernet was hot so we asked for ice? Chad went on to tell us how Americans don't understand the temperature that different types of wines ...whatever. Our home wine cellar is deeper than the entire wine list at home. Easy fix. Enough, the place rocks. It has been totally remodeled. The food is decent. The quality of cocktails seem high. Wine management needs a fix, and Chad? Best of luck and we will be back to support you. I sincerely hope that this feedback helps your business.
