SD Made -- and the incredible women behind this space -- THANK YOU for all you do. I love a…read moremulti‑purpose, women‑owned space that genuinely cares about the community and provides real resources and support for local creatives. This place does all of that and more. I first discovered SD Made when I booked a scent‑making session with an artist who had her storefront/studio inside the warehouse. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to learn more. That's when I found out they host events, offer coworking spaces, conference rooms, podcast rooms, and rentable studios for artists and creatives of all kinds. I knew immediately this was the perfect coworking space for me as I stepped into my next career chapter. Their pricing is reasonable, the amenities are great, and the people are cool, like‑minded, and welcoming. It's a laid‑back coworking environment -- something surprisingly hard to find in San Diego. Even though I no longer rent a coworking space, I stay connected through their local events and by supporting the artists and creatives who work there. I now come here to buy ceramics, candles, scents, and other beautiful goods. Whether you're a community member looking for fun, free local events, an artist searching for a studio, someone needing a coworking space, or a person wanting to host an event -- this space is amazing. Come be part of the fun.

We were able to have a food truck serving food on one side of the building. The only downside is that it ended up being pretty cold since the space doesn't have any heating.

They frequently host events, and are essentially located in North Park. There are private office spaces, two conference rooms, as well as flexible seating at desks if you are not tied to needing to be sitting at the same place every time. There are also lockers, a bike you can rent, and more. In addition to that, there is a quiet room with soundproofing for phone calls if you do opt for a flex desk and need to take calls from time to time. The people who rent from Union are very friendly, and all are welcome here. PS, it's dog friendly.

Five reasons for five stars:…read more - Thanks to Russ, the process to book was pain-free and straightforward. He even made recommendations on where to sit based on the type of work I was doing (revising a manuscript) and was spot-on. - The facility itself is very clean (I've been there late when the cleaners come, and they are thorough). - The short-term and flex options are helpful, especially when you're working on an ever-changing timeline. - Even though it's located in North Park, it felt sectioned off from the hustle and bustle. - I actually got a lot of work done, which was a win after months of cabin fever and dragging my feet. It's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a space to work. Highly recommend.

They offer a shared office space program for only $175 per month. The program is amazing, you can schedule the private use of one of 6 offices, a conference room and even a seminar room (that seats 50 people). There's free internet, copy and fax services and the best part, with the Shared Office program, you get a business phone number and address! There's a live receptionist that answers your business number with your business name. I can't tell you how much this has changed my life and my business for the better. If you're a new business, working from home or cafe's, then give them a call. Tell them you found them on Yelp and they'll give you a discount on your first month's rent! Sean Klope SLKServices.com
