My older sister and I had to come and make the decisions due to my mom not being able to. They were very helpful and patient and kind. I remember like it was yesterday. My Dad passed away in 2020 and I've come to visit his site, leave flowers, talk with him or just sit there. When I have called the office being that there are wasps, they are very prompt to send the grounds men to take care of the situation. The mausoleum is always clean. The sinks for getting water for your flowers as well. There is always the flower holder arms? Available to use. It does have a funny smell but that's pretty normal I would think. I have sat in the mausoleum for a bit when there are families visiting near my Dad to give them privacy. Thankful for Bellevue being local and able to stop and visit my Papa when I can. One thing I would advise, if visiting with fresh flowers, invest in some plant clippers, as you may need to trim the stems of the flowers and roses.

I deeply regret burying my loved one in this place. I have also spoken with other people who have expressed similar frustrations with her. I was just there on Sunday, September 20--up until closing--and tidied up my loved one's grave, as I do every week. Every time I visit, people compliment me on how well-maintained his grave is. He has a framed picture of premium quality embedded with a stake behind his headstone that I keep spotless and completely clear of any walkways. It is not something that rots, creates a mess, or looks unsightly. Nothing else is on his grave. When I returned, his grave had once again been disturbed. His picture had been uprooted from his grave--the stake pulled completely out of the ground--and tossed onto someone else's grave, with dirt thrown on it. The groundskeepers later admitted they were instructed by Janet to discard his picture. When I spoke to Janet about it, she was her usual disrespectful and uncouth self. Before she even knew which grave I was calling about, she told me the grave was "ugly" and that they "have the right to do whatever they want with the graves." I have time-stamped photographic evidence showing exactly what his grave looked like approximately 12 hours before this happened. It was clean, tidy, and well maintained, as it always is. Regardless of whatever cemetery rules they claim to be enforcing, there is absolutely no excuse for taking a deceased person's photograph, callously tossing it onto another person's grave, and leaving it covered in dirt. There is a respectful and dignified way to handle these situations, especially when dealing with grieving families. This was not it. I visit this cemetery one to two times a week. They have a filthy portable toilet because they keep the two bathrooms locked to visitors, falsely claiming they are always out of service, while using both of them only for staff. One of the workers there informed me of this when he let me into the alleged "out-of-service" bathroom, which was in fact fully functional. The trash cans are almost always full and overflowing, the water hose is frequently broken, and there is routinely trash scattered throughout the grassy areas. I regularly spend an hour walking around picking up trash myself because I cannot stand seeing my loved one's cemetery left that way. One time, I got to the exit gate exactly one minute late, and an employee threatened to call the police and have me arrested. I was late leaving because I had been picking up trash from all over the grassy area. I have photographic evidence of the condition of the cemetery, too. The condition of this cemetery and the way grieving families are treated are disgraceful. In my interactions with her, Janet has consistently shown an appalling lack of respect, dignity, accountability, and empathy toward both the deceased and their families. For a place entrusted with people's loved ones, I find that completely unacceptable.

Baldy and between the 10 and 210 freeways. The church is beautiful, the space and the lot is pristine and it's an intimate little chapel. When I received the info. for said memorial, the address given was for Todd Memorial in Pomona, 4 miles away off of Garey. When I arrived, I noticed there were a lot of people, but none of which I recognized. I walked in and saw the crowd of the deceased person and said, "I think I'm at the wrong memorial." I asked the receptionist and she said the memorial I'm looking for is at the Claremont location which is why I'm writing this review and started this Yelp business page, as I imagine this happens a lot. It reminded me of the church wedding scene from the film Wayne's World 2 (or The Graduate). Since I've visited both Todd Memorial Chapels, I can say the Claremont location is much more peaceful than the Pomona location and I'd definitely have my memorial here.

This place has been absolutely awful to deal with, and what was already the hardest time of my life was made even more stressful because of them. I unexpectedly lost my partner after more than 30 years of marriage. There was incorrect information put on the death certificate, and trying to get it corrected was a nightmare. The Inland Memorial Upland location is nearly impossible to get a hold of. I called over and over with no answer and rarely heard back. I eventually had to start calling their other locations just to find someone who would help me. My partner's remains were ready to be picked up and nobody called me. I was the one who had to call and find out they were ready. When I asked why no one had notified me, I was told they were busy. Then the death certificate arrived, which was supposed to be the corrected one, and the same thing happened. Nobody called. I called them and was told, "Oh yeah, we have it here." When I asked why I wasn't notified, once again I was told they were busy. To make matters worse, the certificate STILL wasn't correct. I finally went back to the Upland location in person and spoke with Cesia, who I had already spoken with more than once about this. I explained that I was still dealing with the same issue after everything I had already gone through trying to get it corrected. Her response was, "You have to understand people make mistakes. I'm busy." Of course people make mistakes, but "we're busy" seems to be the excuse for everything at this location. I shouldn't have to chase down a funeral home to find out my partner's remains are ready, find out a death certificate has arrived, or get their mistakes corrected. Every interaction I've had with Cesia has been unpleasant. She is rude, dry and dismissive. When you ask questions, she sounds annoyed and like she doesn't want to be bothered. After reading other reviews and seeing other people mention Cesia by name and describe similar experiences, it's clear I'm not the only person who has experienced this type of treatment. I do want to make it clear that my experience was not the same with everyone at Inland Memorial. Kelly, who works at a different location, was amazing. Out of all the locations I called, she seemed to be the only person I could consistently get a hold of. She never gave me an attitude and was genuinely willing to help. Julie, the supervisor, was also great. She contacted me to resolve the issue before I even had the chance to call her, and she personally delivered the corrected death certificate to my home. I truly appreciated both Julie and Kelly because they showed me the communication and compassion that I should have received from the beginning. My problem is specifically with the Inland Memorial Upland location and the way things were handled there. They are impossible to get a hold of, they don't communicate, and I constantly felt like I had to chase them for information. I am already trying to figure out how to move forward after unexpectedly losing the person I was married to for more than 30 years. The last thing I should have had to do was spend this time chasing down a funeral home. If this review saves even one grieving family from going through the additional stress and aggravation I experienced with the Inland Memorial Funeral Care Upland location, then it was worth writing.
