What they have here is afternoon tea and I wish they would advertise it as such. The chicken salad stuffed gouger was divine. The scones were the best I've had. Crunchy on the outside, while warm and fluffy in the middle. I could have eaten ten of the cinnamon scones. By far the most amazing bed and breakfast I've ever visited!…read more The home (reconstructed and build by the owners) sits atop the highest peak in the area and overlooks the most amazing rolling hills. In the early morning hours and sometimes even during the day - the surrounding hills cover with fog and you feel like you're standing on an island in the middle of the ocean. It's utterly breathtaking. (I highly recommend staying in the upstairs bedroom! Super comfy beds, an awesome bathroom/shower, and a perfect view of the rolling hills!) A large group of wedding vendors and I photographed a styled wedding on the property and we couldn't have been happier with the end result. There are acres and acres of beautiful trails to walk, a large pond full of fish, an awesome bonfire and outdoor bar, as well as a beautiful barn on the land. The space is utterly perfect for country or outdoor weddings! I cannot wait to visit again - both for professional reasons and for personal! (Also, the owners, Sandy and Lou are two of the sweetest people I've ever met! If you love stories about history - ask them questions! They have so many great tales to tell!)

The custom wood work, vintage light fixtures, mirrors, carpets and stained glass are at once classy and charming. Every aspect feels cozy and full of warm character without ever crossing over to ostentation. The only thing better than the atmosphere was our hosts, the owners Butch and Shirley. Even though we'd never met before, they treated us like old friends they were delighted to catch up with. They went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. Butch and Shirley love the house just as much as we did, and you could tell they were thrilled to be able to share the gorgeous historical time capsule that is the Montgomery Mansion with others. The coffee, scratch made french toast and frittata the next morning were the perfect end to a perfect stay. The great place and great hosts have us searching for a great excuse to go back soon!

A large comfy bed, flat screen HDTV with Premium sports and movie channels, a kitchen with all the amenities from Oven to Spatula, a full bathroom, and a small dining /work table. The suites are housed in a turn of the century victorian house converted into apartments and conveniently located off bus lines to Downtown. The best thing is supermarkets and bars are nearby, all which Robert gives you maps and descriptions of. Got Laundry? no problem, the suites have their own laundry room and each room has an ironing board, laundry basket, and iron. It's home away from home.
