During our vacation, communication was extremely poor. After seeing a concerning photo of our dog appearing to have an altercation with another dog, we tried repeatedly to get updates. We had to keep reaching out ourselves and ultimately had to ask the owner to send us a photo because we had gone days without seeing or hearing anything about him. At pickup, we were initially charged the wrong amount. We had also paid for an exit bath, but were told it had been removed because they weren't sure whether it had been done. When we got our dog into the car, he smelled strongly like he had not been bathed at all. The most disappointing part was the way our concerns were handled. Rather than acknowledging them or apologizing, the interaction felt defensive and dismissive. We won't be boarding our dog here again. Communication, organization, and customer service all need significant improvement.

When I pick him up I watch them cleaning and disinfecting everything which always reassures me that it's a priority. He did catch an illness that another dog brought in, but they were quick to let me know, quarantine all the doggies and verified he was clean when he came back to join his friends a few weeks later. Having my dog with a bunch of others, sometimes that happens so I don't blame them at all. What I appreciated was their quick response to it!!

Because our tour didn't start till the afternoon, we decided to board our dogs at Kori's overnight instead of using the day care. They were very accommodating with food, bowls and bedding. They were only open the next day at 6am or 2 for pickup of the dogs, which made it hard to plan around. I made a call to them around 1 and explained I had made reservations for lunch with my family. They were very understanding and allowed me to pick them up early, which I greatly appreciated. The dogs seemed happy and well cared for. I will keep Kori's on my list to use again.

Each employee seems to genuinely love animals. I just read a review about a dog coming away with kennel cough--I would be bummed too, but, unfortunately---thats part of the risk of letting our dogs around each other/playing together. (I'd heard that kennel cough was going around on Whidbey Island). In this type of group play environment-unfortunately, it can happen. (Just like getting a cold for a human-I wouldnt blame the daycare or expect them to pay the doctor visit cost for that....though I would hope that if it were noticed that a dog was sick-they'd be isolated and owner called--which I believe is the policy at Kori's Muttley Crew). I talked with my vet, and he said its better to have a doggie day care/boarding facility thats indoor/outdoor--for better air quality and less likely to get sick--like Kori's has. For us, the risk for getting sick is worth it in order to get to group play and group sleep/snuggle the way they do here, due to the outgoing/people loving personality of our pup---she just would not do well at the other kennels where she would be isolated & anxious in a kennel run for most of the day/night. We are thankful for the military discount, and this place is 5star for socialized doggos.

When I called he was 40 yards away from me and within four car lengths of the deer and he is a focused high drive dog. Thank you to our trainer Greg Houle. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would stop chasing a deer that he had an excellent chance of catching and come to me because I asked him to. I am so grateful for In The Flow K-9 training, that he came, yes, but the WAY he came to me, eyes shining, leaving what was probably his heart's desire, full of happiness that I had called. He was 100% into the next thing that we were going to do togethe r, focused and looking up at me for direction. Making that bond between you and your dog the "something big", the "pay off" for your work, is what Greg's teaching is all about from the very first minute. I am 70 years old. Then we rescued another full grown dog who wasn't small. She was wild and required a team just to walk her. We have been working with Greg and both dogs on and off since November. We aren't terrible consistent, but we do try. People have been stopping and applauding us for the noticeable changes in both dogs' behavior. I have actually had some success walking both dogs together. Life at home is much less frazzled, although there's still plenty to work on. What I really like about this training is that Greg is practical. The training is to the point. It's really sensible. Greg understands that people are busy, that some dogs have structure and other dogs have toys. He adjusts and supports as needed. Greg has a diverse background with a biology degree and has worked a broad spectrum of jobs. He takes his career seriously and gets things done pleasantly, timely, and correctly.

I wished the tubs would've been higher, so my back didn't hurt so bad and the water spout is too big and cumbersome to get underneath my labrador dog comfortably. Because my canine is a Service-Dog who uses his nose to work, I requested unscented shampoo and as nice as the clerk was, they could not accommodate. The store is bright, clean and well organized, but I have to say for someone who washes her Service dog once every week or two paying $44+ for a self service dog bath seems insane to me. In all my years of washing service dogs I have never paid more than $20 and most of the time I'm offered a Service-Dog discount to somewhere between six and $12. Max $18. Also, I was looking for cotton balls and Q-tips, etc. to be able to dry out and clean out my dog's ears, which they had none of. So in summary, I brought my own shampoo, washed my own dog used one towel and it cost me $44 & a back ache. Part of the reason I go to the self-serve places is because I don't want to hurt my back, but I could've used a hose for free and been in the same place. I offered suggestions as I departed, but they seemed to fall on deaf ears, or the clerk seemed to have heard it all before and kind of brushed it off. Even if I lived in this town, I would never go back to this place because it's simply not a match for me.why should I work that hard and pay that much money just to need a chiropractor?
