This was our first time in Hawaii, so we figured if our hotel wasn't the best it would be ok, since we were not planning on spending much time in the hotel. It was such an amazing place and we got a great deal on it which made it even more amazing. As soon as you walk in, the front desk welcomed you, and you can tell they upkeep this hotel very well and take pride in their property. They do offer parking on the premises, however they do charge $40.00 a day, which i thought was pretty pricey but didn't have a choice we had rented a car. The girl at the front desk told us the area was safe and there is usually parking outside the hotel for free, we didnt pay for parking our whole stay! Our room was super clean , updated and super spacious! We got a call daily asking if we needed anything, you can get beach towels daily without issues as many as you like. The cook-to-order breakfast was simply AMAZING!! The food was great and the cooks are super nice and welcoming. The pool is a little on the smaller side but we didnt have the need to use it but its really nice. over all i would 100 percent stay here again. It was a wonderful experience and wonderful value! Mahalo!

The mini sink was convenient, but there's no sponge or soap to do dishes so keep that in mind. They also have complimentary breakfast which includes a made to order omelette station. There's a laundry room on the second floor. $5 to wash and $5 to dry. Parking is free on the street, or you could pay $40/night where you're pretty much guaranteed a spot in their parking lot. This was a great hassle free option! There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby - but you could also order room service or have things delivered, too. Overall, this was a convenient place in Kapolei.

Okay, so you're asking why would you go to a water park or lagoon when there's so many awesome…read morebeaches in Hawaii and Oahu. Well the simple answer is because we're all looking for something new and different to do once in a while with family and friends. And that exactly why we ended up at Wai Kai. It was a chance to hang out with our kids and friends before they returned to school after the winter break. The obstacle course was a ton of fun, we took advantage of the other water activities too, and we also opted to get a couple cabanas too so we could all hang out. It was perfect for our group of 20. Some of the restaurants were closed the day we went, but the takeout food at The Lookout was delicious. We also enjoyed some cold beverages too. BTW, the Nalo Lounge is a great option for $25/person if you want to store your belonging and take a shower before heading to your ext destination. For local families, take advantage of the kamaaina rates. The family is already excited about going back when the kids are back home this summer.

We did the Aquaventure obstacle course and had a blast! You will fall, slip, and be humbled real fast. You need to wear a life vest and there are lifeguards watching. If the obstacle course is not your thing, there is a simulated surf experience or you can kayak, paddle board, or go on their aqua bike.

We managed to use (20) 72x30" tables to fit 12-13 chairs on each long table. It was nice. It didn't feel crowded. There was still a lot of room in the back and in the front. Pros: -fenced outdoor courtyard (great for the kids, no bounce castles though) -full kitchen -parking -AC Cons: -you're responsible for cleaning up after your event If you're contemplating where to have your event, the question really is how much you're willing to spend. This place will be more budget friendly than having your event at a hotel of course. You just have to weigh your options.

We attended a graduation party for a family member on 6/01/24 from 5PM to 8PM. It was our first time visiting this facility. As previous yelpers have mentioned, it is best to use your GPS to get there. It is off the freeway but in the Royal Kunia subdivision, past the Wal-Mart on Kunia Rd. Once you exit Kunia Rd, it can be tricky since the street signs are hard to read so GPS is your best bet. It is easy to find & you can't miss the building once you're on the street it's on since it is on the corner. There is a park next to it and across the street is an empty lot on one side & a golf course on the other side. The parking lot was good-sized as well of plenty of street parking. Even though it was next to a huge park, the venue is surrounded by a white fence for privacy. The facility itself is a beautiful venue to hold a celebration - nice surroundings, modern building, a/c, clean bathrooms by the entrance, & kitchen facility. The manager, Michelle, was also very nice, assisting guests & answering any questions they had. The tables & chairs were set up to seat about a 100 people. There were probably about 80 but the room itself was comfortable enough to not feel over-crowded plus they had a live band up front & a small area for dancing. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience at this venue.
