Booked online the party cruise with 2 drinks included, and arrived for check in at their office. There is the option to upgrade to unlimited drinks for $25 more. Despite everyone checked in before the scheduled departure time, they led us to the boat 10 minutes later for a 15 minute late departure. Did they keep to the promised 1.5 hour cruise? Nope. We arrived back on to dock on time. As for the 2 included drinks, it was a "punch". That is, you do not get to choose the type of alcoholic drink you'd like. This was disappointing and it would've been nice if this was stated upfront. The boat itself is like the ones you can rent from the military base ie., nothing special to look at. The music the DJ played was good but a tad too loud given that it was a small boat. The people on the boat made the event fun. read more

We found Oahu Boat Cruises through a Groupon and were attracted by the cheap prices and BYOB (what more can I say). For 2 of us, it was a little over 20 pp which was by far the best deal we could find. We booked the Friday Night Fireworks cruise for Valentines Day. I will admit, it was a bit hard to find the actual docking location, but luckily we allowed enough time to search around the docks. Once there we were greeted by the super chill and funny staff. We grabbed a spot outside at the end of the boat to watch the Fireworks. Once the boat took off, the DJ started playing some great music (mostly hip hop). Many people started to get up dancing and everyone was having a great time and mingling as the night went on. Getting to see the fireworks over the water was a great focal point too. It was seriously so much fun- one of the highlights of our trip. read more

How f***ing lucky am i to have found this boat cruise on Groupon?! Booking was a breeze and checking in at 4 for the 430-6:30 p.m. cruise on Saturday was fast and easy. It's BYOB so pack your cooler with drinks and snacks and get ready to party and dance to wonderful music while making new friends. Our cruise allowed swimming (not all bookings do) and it was incredible to be out at sea with big waves and warm water. Wayyy better than swimming at shore. I couldn't imagine not booking the time that includes the swimming option. We were also lucky to have dolphins near the boat (i missed seeing these), but... i did see the whales that were nearby and came up for a hello!!!! Even caught one on video! This was pure luck, especially for this time of year, completely unexpected, and it definitely made the entire trip to Hawaii more memorable. I wish we'd done this cruise every day. The worst adventure at sea in my entire life. NO RECOMMENDATION! We had to wait on the street because the supposed catamaran, which actually looks like an ugly junk boat, had not been cleaned. When we finally set off, the employee Louis helped himself to our drinks without any inhibitions and gave the impression that he was disrespectful towards everyone else. We went on half day cruise/ snorkeling trip with Oahu the other day. The cruise and the overall trip was nice on a sunny day. The crew did barely any training or explaining of how to put on and use the snorkeling equipment. Not surprisingly a number of the guests were struggling in the water. My boyfriend and I took another cruise the day before, but we missed out on the swimming and found a Paradise Sunset Swim Cruise from this place available for the next day, which was hard to find since most places were only doing fireworks for Friday without swimming. In the best way possibly its like a college dive bar on a boat. It's BYOB so there is potential for some debauchery but every one was pretty well behaved. No messes. No glass container on board so filled a hydroflash with the finest costco rose. Anyway, it was actually lots of fun. Some people were a little wild but we had about ten in our group so we managed to box off a nice area. The Friday night cruise we took floats past the fireworks too. Went for a friend's birthday party. Pro is that you can actually swim compared to other catamaran services. I brought my GoPro to the party and ended up leaving it on the boat. I didn't realize I had left it until the next morning, so I called and Lewis was so helpful in letting me know when the best time to come to the pier to look for the GoPro was. He also contacted the boat as it was out during the morning, letting them know to keep it stored away so that others wouldn't take it. When I arrived at the pier, Johnny was also very helpful and friendly in letting me in through the pier gate and leading me to the boat. He found my GoPro and I am forever grateful!!
