My hometown…read moreFord dealership had my Transit van for two weeks, heard the strange noise coming from the dashboard, but told me to "wait until it breaks and bring it back." Seriously? Thankfully, I found Cook County Ford based on their 5-star reviews--and now I know why they've earned them. Not only did they actually listen to my concerns, but they went the extra mile to work with my extended warranty company, which was not easy to deal with. They got the repairs covered, saving me a lot of money and hassle. Every time I called to check in, I got honest updates and clear communication about what was happening next. My service rep was Wes. No runaround, just real customer service. I picked up my van today and it's running great. I'm officially back on the road and ready for my next van life adventure--all thanks to the team at Cook County Ford in Adel, baby!

Finally after 3 bad parts and 7 hours later as they were closing they fixed it... I left and 20 minutes later the car died... They were closed and I had to get To my hotel in Florida and thank goodness for a roadside mechanic. He explained that they didn't disconnect the battery and the alternator broke because of it. Tenneson Nissan charged me 900$ for absolutely nothing. Taking a day from my vacation and wasting my time. I wanted a full refund and they said they would give it but then recanted saying the alternator was broke by the roadside mechanic who removed it. Laughable to say the least. They still owe me 708.03 and I have not seen it yet. Dishonest scammers using ignorance as a ploy to rip people off? I should have charged them for my time and the emotional barrage of saying is "it's done... Sorry another bad part" another 3 hour wait. Then to have them not know how to properly install an alternator. Pretty sad.
