TLDR: They lie about the time it takes to do stuff. I understand they are understaffed, but communicate that instead of promising 1-2 weeks less than it will take. I dropped my truck off on a Friday, and they said it would most likely take 2-3 days to fix, including time to buy parts, but since they were a bit understaffed, she was going to promise me it done by the following Friday. I was fine with that. The Thursday before the promise date, I called to ask what time I could pick up my truck at. It was then (only after I called them) I was informed that they hadn't even started work yet. That's when I informed them I needed it for a work trip by the following Wednesday. Knowing it was in a rush, they decided... to not start until 3 o'clock Monday. Unsurprisingly, they didn't have it fixed before the work trip. read more

My daughter was moving to Florida traveling on I 75 and broke down. I called around several places that I thought were in the area. Spoke with Shayne And she was very accommodating. She Spoke with the mechanic several times to discuss what type of car and what the issues might be. Unfortunately it was getting later in the day and we had to have it towed there. This shop is a LIFESAVER!!! We were traveling to Florida and one of our back tires flew off the hub leaving us on the side of the road not knowing what we were going to do next. We looked up McKees and within 30 mins Von was to our rescue with the tow truck! He was so professional and quick getting us back to the shop in no time. The techs got our truck in a bay and started work right away even though the shop was closed. They stayed late and provided us the most incredible service finding us parts and getting us back on the road within a few hours! I was passing through Tifton on my way to Florida for vacation with my family. I had major car trouble, late on a Saturday. I contacted McKee's Saturday night, and they had me back on the road Sunday. They were the only shop that I could find that would help me on Sunday. Had it not been for them, who knows how long I would have been without a vehicle. McKee's Auto Center saved my family's vacation.
