Look no further then All Duct LLC! Nick & Malik from the start made the whole process very easy to understand. Non threatening and very educational to a first time home buyer in Clark NJ. Their prices are honest and very reasonable and they explain every step of the way the plan and what they recommend. To top it off, they warranty their work & any problems go out of the way to make the customer happy. I will be using for my annual dryer vent cleaning and HVAC maintenance as well because I am so satisfied with the service and professionalism. Don't hesitate and give Nick a call he's available even in the evening hours. Malik too is great he did such a great job. The old home owners did a DIY mess and my lint was a fire hazard blowing into who knows where, they recommended a complete new install to a new spot in the house and used high grade materials that will last years to come. Take a look at the BEFORE & AFTER for proof!

Sanitizing the individual duct/vents was added ($25 extra for each vent) to the originally quoted package which he said only includes sanitizing the main duct, but I wanted that done after seeing the mold build-up on the vent registers. He also helped taking out the moldy vent registers because it's probably better just to replace than trying to clean them. Overall, glad we did the cleaning, though I wish it was clearly stated the vent sanitizing was NOT included in the quote, because the quote just said "...air duct cleaning includes up to 15 supply vents and returns, two main duct per single unit, sanitizer (to prevent mold growth)..." A little update: Later through the check-in with the owner, the owner Nick answered all my questions, told me how to maintain, and that we won't need to do a cleaning again until a few years later. Also after hearing my concern about the mold on the registers, he said the registers needed to be thrown out and replaced, but the ducts behind the vents themselves didn't have mold so didn't have to be sanitized, even though it was my request to sanitize them. I was told main duct/trunk sanitization is what they usually do and individual duct/vent sanitization is not a recommended practice actually. He offered to refund the extra charge for the vent sanitization that I didn't need. I appreciate that honesty and accountability.

Turns out they charge $30 a foot and my bill was about $750. They were at least supposed to quote me before doing the work but they didn't. I spoke up and they apologized for not showing me the quote first and charged me 400. I paid. And now that I'm playing it out in my mind, I feel like this might have been all by design. I think I was just played big time.

He saw we have carpet all across and a baby in the house but he didn't care one bit while making several trips between his truck and our entire house. This is seriously the biggest put off. Heck with the VERBAL respect and courtesy. How do I know where you have been before my house and no matter how much you rub those shoes on my doormat (contaminating the same too) - it is not going to be as good as having booties. He opened up all the registers with all the dirt and dust falling on the carpet and then placed the dirty registers on the carpet. Suggestion - put a piece of paper (just like they do in the auto shop before entering your car) before you drill or open anything which you know is going to contain dirt. Dumb.! I asked him to show me the filter (inside the big blue sucking machine) before starting to clean so that in the end I can see how much dust was captured. He said he WILL once he has done his setup but then conveniently forgot it. They advertise this on their WEBSITE AND YELP with pictures. This was the most important thing for me to understand what I am spending my money on. He missed vacuuming an entire register and then went and placed his vacuum outside. Why - you don't need it anymore? I can understand you missed the register due to human error but are you not going to vacuum the dirt you spilled outside 10 registers? I think he was planning to conveniently miss it but then I pointed it out. Did not vacuum/brush/clean/wipe any registers - just the duct opening inside them. Missed vacuuming the area outside one register. I saw these after he had left. Cut the paint line VERY ROUGHLY around two registers resulting in decent gaps in the wall edges which are now showing after putting back the registers. They advertise on their WEBSITE AND YELP pictures that they are mindful of. His drill slipped multiple times marking spots/dinges on several registers. DID NOT SEAL shut any registers. They advertise this on their WEBSITE AND YELP. When I asked- he said it is not required. Really?? How can you have enough negative pressure without sealing 10 (ten) registers, no matter how small the total duct length is??? He just blew the dust IN from all the registers, then through the main duct towards the hole he had made just above the Evaporator Coil. This way all the dust is simply going to fall on the evaporator coil** which will simply be blown back into the house when you switch on the system. **Proof - the dust fell down from the register right next to the Evap coil proving that the system did not have enough negative pressure to suck it into the big blue machine. This is from their service description email - "Agitating and vacuuming of entire duct system.". This did not happen. He simply inserted the cleaning pole into the register and at the first block pulled it back. I can simply see not even the entire length of one complete cleaning pole go inside the register (which is at the bottom of the wall). The ones on the ceiling could be tough to maneuver. Obviously there is so much length of the duct system which was not even touched. This is from their service description email -"Complimentary sanitization per request available. Sanitization is done using ENVIROCON". It would take someone five times as long to empty a can of $1 compressed air than it took him to spray the sanitizer into the hole he had made. A complete joke. This is from their service description email AND FROM WEBSITE AND YELP PICTURES - "Complimentary video inspection to show results before and after cleaning.". All he showed me was one picture taken from his phone - before and after. He had no snake cameras or any other sort of equipment. Overall, he was simply playing a prank on me rather than cleaning. I was surely cheated and am completely unsatisfied for the $299 I paid.

He asked where the supply and return vents were, where the HVAC unit was located, and then explained very clearly what he was going to do (drill a few 1" holes in the vent for the air whip and use the vacuum for the dust). Process took 2.5 hours and I was AMAZED with the amount of dust and grimy crap that came out of the ducts. I hate when reviewers say things like this but I think it adds value... I'm an engineer for my job and was watching the technician work very closely, he did an outstanding job would invite him back in my home again. Highly recommended.

I called DRX to clean the chimney of my wood burning fireplace. I spoke with the the company and…read moretold them it was a single flue wood burning fireplace that was last cleaned a few years ago (2-3 years). They told me they could clean the chimney and we scheduled a session. The technicians called and arrived on time. They put down drop cloths and set up for the cleaning. All done very professionally. They started to do the cleaning which consisted of a large vacuum unit and compressed air. There were no brushes or other usual chimney cleaning equipment. The entire cleaning was done within the house. No one cleaned the chimney from the top. When I went to look at the cleaning I noticed there was still some evidence of creosote in the firebox. This is the reason I called them to do the chimney cleaning in the first place. I was told by the technician that they only do a Level 1 cleaning which is removing loose dirt and dust. (He showed me pictures of the work that was done and this level of dirt was removed). When I told him I was concerned about the creosote he said this was level 2 or 3 cleaning and they don't do this level of cleaning. I would need to find someone else to do this and they didn't have anyone to recommend. The technician said they can't tell the level of cleaning until they come out and most chimneys only need level 1. I said that when I book the appointment no one ever mentioned level of cleaning. I understood that the level of cleaning can't be assessed on a phone call. But, if this was known I might have made other arrangements. The owner did follow up with me later in the day to discuss the feedback I provided the technicians. I explained my concerns and he was gracious in understanding my perspective. Although there was the misunderstanding in the level of cleaning, the process was handled in a professional manner.
