We called this company to come look at our truck because it was having trouble building boost. I called and asked him why the bill was so expensive and he said for the service call and because was under my truck for an hour. I called driver with Jerry still standing there and asked him how long he was there and he said he was there for 20 minutes under the truck. I told Jerry he was completely inflating his price and he didn't do anything that called for a $546 bill. Truck is still not fixed and I told a guy if it was the last thing I did I would let everyone know how his prices were completely uncalled for.

As many other super stores have died off (Shopko, Kmart, Sears, etc.) Blains holds tough, great automotive department, solid tools section, tons of American made products, good hunting/ fishing selection, clothing section full of Carhart/ Levi's and most stuff you would need for a farm. Buy all my gardening stuff there as well, (peat moss, perlite, top soil) including lawnmowers. The employees are always super friendly. Keep in mind this is a Upper Midwestern store, expect those sorts of values associated with it. I've seen other people complain about sometimes the lines are a little longer, expect that in any traditional hardware or feed store, you usually chat it up a little bit while conducting business, there's no self checkout. Just enjoy it, don't be in such a rush, and catch up with the cashier on the Packers Game last Sunday. During COVID I recommend the "pick up" option near the automotive department if you are in a hurry.
