Nikki was our server and was entirely prompt and a joy to have at the table. Our wine glasses remained full and my mom commented so many times on the level of customer service. I'm convincing her now to become a member on their kindness alone. It was a lovely brunch and we ended up sitting at the pool where the girls filled our water pitchers and often check on us. Thank you for the memorable day!

I was really disappointed with my experience at this golf course. The day started off frustrating…read morewhen staff kept calling our group about supposedly hitting something, even after the confusion had already been cleared up. Instead of moving on professionally, it felt like they continued to hover over the situation and made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the round. Customer service should make players feel welcomed, not singled out. The course conditions also weren't enjoyable. The greens were ridiculously fast to the point they were nearly impossible to putt on -- it honestly felt like they had just been stamped without considering playability. On top of that, staff members were constantly watching our group after someone complained we were "playing too slow," even though there were two senior groups ahead of us holding up the pace the entire day. It made the atmosphere stressful instead of relaxing, which is the opposite of what a round of golf should feel like. I wouldn't rush back after this experience. Later: Additionally, I received a voicemail from a staff member claiming to be a manager regarding alleged damages, despite the situation already being addressed before we left the course. Multiple staff members had already checked around our bags and continued monitoring our group throughout the round, particularly while we were on the greens. As someone who is still learning the game and does not consider myself an experienced golfer, the constant attention made me feel extremely uncomfortable and singled out. What concerned me most was that staff members looked into my cart and personal belongings without any communication or explanation while I was sitting inside. I understand the importance of protecting the course and handling concerns professionally, but the approach taken during this situation felt excessive and unnecessary. I want to make it clear that I had positive interactions with the front desk staff and the golf cart staff, who were both friendly and professional. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by how our group was treated. I do not feel the experience justified the $80 paid for the round. Between the unusually difficult greens, random rocks throughout the course, and feeling constantly watched, the day became more stressful than enjoyable. Unfortunately, it left me with the impression that younger golfers were being unfairly judged compared to other groups on the course.

If you are not a serious golfer, who knows at least how to conduct yourself on the golf course and shoot at least bogey golf this is NOT the course for you! We were behind a foursome of goofballs that had no business being on this course, and that wasn't due specifically to their abilities only, but rather their lack of etiquette and understanding in maintaining pace of play. They were driving their golf carts literally a few feet away from the tee box on some holes and alternating between the blue tees and the white tees. A course, like this needs to have Marshalls maintaining the pace of play. I would highly recommend that management monitor play frequently and ensure that all players particularly the less skilled ones are maintaining their pace of play and if they feel they can't play at the right pace then they should probably play at a lesser challenging course. Again, I love the course but we're talking about nonsense behavior adding at least 30 to 45 minutes of extra time!

I have to ding one star because on my very first visit, I asked the staff at the bar counter where I should check in letting them kno it was our first time. A bartender who looked extremely annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with the 2 other staff (who were all standing around shooting the shit not helping other people, mind you) without a word, pointed to her left, and gave me the stink eye. Luckily one of the boys was helpful and could actually use his words. What ever happened to customer service? Other than that, we had a good time playing. The views are amazing, the other players were friendly, and the facility was very well kept. Hopefully, this was a one-off and next time I will encounter wait staff that actually take hospitality seriously.

It wasn't exactly their fault either, it was backed up everywhere. No rangers to be found, played in 5 1/2 hours on a Thursday. No cart girl or on course water were leaving us a little dehydrated. Now, the views at Oak Quarry are incredible! Every hole was unique and the conditions were really good! The staff were friendly. Fix the customer service aspects and this course would deserve 6 stars.

The vibes were so immaculate, everyone I encountered at the course was so nice and friendly from the gent that checked me in, to the gent at the bar, to the greenskeepers and the guys in the cart barn. The course itself, EPIC... insane views at every hole.. you can see the hills of Riverside with the overarching snow covered San Gabriel Mountains in the distance. But this course is HARD, luckily my drives were on point but there's a big possibility of running into trouble especially with the amount of bunkers, hazards, and desert style OB. The course would eat me up at times because 8 times out of 10 would hit a great shot and then flub the next because I would be super off balance, off camber, or on a slope and it's hard to train for those shots on the range. One of the guys in my group was being a crybaby because we didn't get to finish... started around mid noon... and sun set was about 5 pm... we were a little backed up at times... 2 groups of ladies in front of us, so we waited a while at every tee box and got to hole 17 before it was completely dark. But I get it, course is tough and it's going to take a bit longer. If I can get a deal for under 110, I will make the drive from LA anytime. Cant wait to come back and try the brisket sandwich! I heard it's legendary. PS- shoutout to the maintenance crew, they found my lab putter cover and turned it in for me! Truly honest! Thanks a ton!

When I arrived to the Golf Galaxy I asked the registered representative (super nice girl) where do I need to go to make an appointment to get my irons re gripped, she instructed me to go in the far right corner of the building and someone will help me. As I arrived to the fitting dept the store was pretty dead, no rush hour. I was waiting for a few mins to get someone's attention at the fitting dept finally someone came out the back and the guy walked passed by me and didn't acknowledge or even greet me. Not even a "Hello I'll be with you in just a min" nothing. So I continued to look around the grip section to see what I wanted to purchase. I noticed the same guy that walked past me was in the middle of the isle next to the fitting dept talking to another associate and just mingling, not helping another customer. I walked up to him and asked nicely "Hello, do you work back here" he replied "Yes" but had smirk on his face as if I was bothering him. He finally went to the register and asked me "How can I help you?" I said "I'm looking to get my irons re gripped and get a new shaft for my driver" I asked "May I have your name" he said "my name is Hunter" I than asked Hunter if he had any recommendations on brands for a shaft? He really didn't seem enthusiastic to help just sat on his chair and continued to enter in all my information on his system. So I just proceeded to look at what they had and went with the same brand I originally had on my driver. Normally with this service I would've just left but I was planning to head out to a golfing trip and turn around was pretty fast (24 hours) I wish I would've caught the gentleman's name when I picked up my clubs because he was more friendlier and seemed to that he was willing to help. Hunter, I didn't feel like the level of customer service matched what I was expecting. It came across a bit dismissive. I'm sharing this because good customer service makes a huge difference, especially in a place where people are looking for guidance and expertise. Taking a little extra time to listen, engage, and be approachable can really improve the experience for customers. I hope you take this constructively and use it as an opportunity to improve. Thanks for hearing me out.
