I had the corn soup with Creme fraiche, bacon and an herb I did not recognize (delicious), tuna tartare (just OK) and duck with pumpkin risotto ( the plate was sprinkled with roasted pumpkin seeds and the risotto was crowned with what I took to be a potato chip...actually a chip made of Parmesan cheese. The combination of tastes was fantastic!). I liked everything about Chimera. The ambiance is very good, the service by the owner/wife team very welcoming, warm and knowledgeable and the food and wine suggestions excellent. We went for the onion soup, which in my opinion, was the best part of the meal. For main, we had what was a traditional Brazilian dish, mainly because they didn't have a compelling seafood option as part of the lunch deal. All in all, the menu looked good, but I felt that it didn't truly embrace the local seafood dishes. The range was a bit limited as well. Service was pretty prompt and good.
